  1. Heeeeeere's Danuve! A few days ago I posted on the forums a topic labeled Resident Evil: Cataclysm in which I named off ways we could splice together main story elements of the Resident Evil series (before 4 and 5) into the Post-Apocalyptic wastelands in Fallout 3. However I kinda jumped the gun... I got to into coming up with the idea that I had completely forgotten to ask for help. I'm not seeing as many 'Modding Teams' here on the Fallout Nexus as I have on the Elder Scrolls Nexus, but I know it can be done. Unfortunately I myself can't work on the aesthetics for the mod, as 1. I don't have Fallout 3 as of yet... Damn system requirements kicking my ass... 2. I have no experience with modeling or texturing (although I doubt, for the most part, that modeling will be used that much) However, I can write the story, draw out concept designs, and etc. for the quest that would be involved... And the three things I need are Moderately experienced modders who know how to texture or script a little bit. Should you be interested, please send me a private message here on the Nexus, so we can plan everything out.
  2. Haha, everyone get ready for Tatooine! Now that would be an epic planet for Fallout to visit! They already have (Tusken) Raiders too!
  3. Danuve Coil here! I know there are other RE themed requests (in fact, one just not to long ago actually...) but from what I'm seeing they don't seem to be very... Organized? I'm trying hard not to sound like an ass, haha. Fallout 3 is a post-apocolyptic world destroyed in a measly two hour time frame. With the super radio-active areas, and the FEV causing so many mutations, it gives Resident Evil a perfect gateway into the Wastelands. Now, of course, trying to come up with scenarios where actual events fit in with the lore surrounding the Wastelands would be a bit difficult, it isn't as bad depending on how you think of it. We already have beautiful Resident Evil mods, such as a Nemesis reskin of super mutants (I'm damn sure I'm not the only person who sees those guys as a perfect palette for TYRANTS), Jill's BSAA outfit as well as her Resident Evil 3 survival outfit, and many, many lovely Samurai Edge models. So what I'm thinking is, what if we combine the two stories? Resident Evil: Cataclysm Special Tactics And Rescue Service (STARS): My idea for the lovable group of unlucky saps... erm... good guys... Is to have them as a normal faction who work as a sort of police or gaurdian force for a known (or altogether new) town who end up stumbling onto something that could very well be the death of them and those around them. Of course, being in Fallout 3, the character who comprise the apocolyptic STARS force don't have to be the cast of Resident Evil 1-3, but referances sure would be fun. Umbrella Pharmaceutical Company: They should be here, and alive. Maybe a discarded factory or two, a small abandoned town next to one of them, or a semi-large factory. Now, in The Wastelands, where medicine is found few and far between, the Umbrella either has limited power in the regions, or are just dicks who deny the locales what they need. (kinda obvious what most would choose) Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (UBCS): Fans would remember these guys from Resident Evil 3 and the Resident Evil movie sequal. They are basically Umbrella's militarized janitors, coming in and cleaning up whatever screw ups Umbrella unleashes. Plot(?) Let's have two joinable factions. Innnnnnnn one corner we have the UBCS (Umbrella by extension), armed to the teeth with mercenaries and ex-convicts with superior firepower! And in the other corner we have STARS! A small but flexible group of intelligent weapon experts who know their way around strange conspiricies! STARS storyline: In the main story, let's have the STARS recieve reports of strange sightings around an old pharmaceutical factory. After dispatching a squad to investigate, they don't return. You and a new group of STARS members go off in search of B squad, stumbling upon the old factory and signs that the squad had went inside after being forced by an unknown force. After investigating, you discover the place is full of zombies, and evil little bastards that you've only heard of in nightmares. You and the team (or whats left of it) stumble upon the lab containing failed Umbrella expiraments, while simultaneously setting off alarms that tell Umbrella who and what has discovered there secrets, unleashing the monsters in the nearby town and the flustered Umbrella agents send off the UBCS to clean house. (to be continued) UBCS (Umbrella) storyline: After signing on at a local Umbrella Military location, you're outfitted and given a few training missions with your new squad. Almost immediately after the training, your squad gets an assignment: Local STARS have been meddling where they don't belong and have unleashed deadly chemicles into a local town, who are quickly being infected. Your task is to locate any survivors (haha, survivors... good one) and should you see any STARS, shoot to kill. Thats... All I've got for now...
  4. Danuve_Coil here, I'm pretty sure most of the people here on the forums recognize the names Altair Ibn La-Ahad, Desmond Miles, or perhaps more recently added to the family tree: Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Well I've been playing Assassins Creed 2, and have come to fall in love with Firenze, Venezia, and the rest of Tuscany. The Archetecture, the clothing, the traditions... The man in white robes climbing around buildings while the person just dropped a crate because of him yells out profanities and Italians (gasp, mouthful much?). And we already have Altair's gear from the Holy Wars in 3 different colors and many different body types, as well as having Altair himself as partner in our quests. And now we have Ezio's gear, which is beautifully crafted and looks amazing in-game. So why not bring other parts of the renaissance to Tamriel? Imagine importing key figures like Niccolo Machievelli or Lorenzo de Medici (or maybe characters that represent said people) into Skingrad and the like. We already have a Medici manor, an Italian Costello, and I even believe we have Venezia *Venice* but I'll have to double-check... If this sparks your interest and you're a modder who at least knows meshing or texturing, please PM me to speak more on the idea!
  5. Danuve Coil here again on the subect of Runescape Styled mods... Before you pass this off as another request by an inexperianced teenager who would get mad at being denied his RuneScape toys (as I have seen on the forums one time or another) please, listen to what I have to say. --My Final Fantasy 7 Idea-- Players of Final Fantasy VII have fell in love with it's sequals and how they reinvent the looks of the original 4 disk game set. You see the characters turn from polygonal characters to what seems to be living, breathing, functioning human beings (...and Red XIII). People usually don't want to work with RuneScape because of one MAJOR thing: The graphics are H-O-R-B-L-E!! (I misspelled horrible wrong intentionally just because calling it horrible would be an upgrade). But what if, like Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, we had up-to-date examples of whatever item it is requested? :pinch: I'm a self proclaimed artist and a runescape player myself, and if anyone is willing to help, I could turn those... things... on runescape, into something befitting the world of Tamriel. If you would, take a look at "RuneHQ.com" and browse through the items. IMO, some of the things on there are at least HALF WAY to looking good, but I'll update them. Please, PM me if you have any ideas. Danuve Coil :ninja:
  6. Danuve, did you receive the stuff from me? Long time no see.

    Cheers

  7. Danuve here! I've only played Fallout 3 for the 360 and have yet to get a copy of it for the computer... However I do plan to get it as soon as possible! However, before I do get it... There are some things that I think would be really cool for Fallout 3 that I think would fit in quite nicely with the game itself. Of course: Relating to Resident Evil Everyone knows Resident Evil. Zombies, monsters, and backstabbing liars. But the characters themeselves could fit into a war-torn world as that is what part of Resident Evil is, emminent doom. This may be a hefty little wish-list, but I think these would be pretty cool in FO3: Albert Wesker RE5: Long, black, leather trenchcoat. Black gloves. Black leather pants, and a zipped up black shirt... Not to mention... Black aviators. STARS: Bullet-proof vest, shoulderpadded, labeld S.T.A.R.S with it's meaning underneath. Combat boots. STARS Standard Issue Barretta, Samurai Edge: http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa316/Ultimate_Shinigami_Chad/Resident%20Evil/Miscellanious/starssamuriaedgepistol.jpg 50. Revolver: http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll136/Wesker_60/MagnumHandcannon.jpg There is definately more... But I'd probably actually have to sketch them out myself. PM me if you're interested!
  8. Danuve Coil here! I imagina most of us have already read the sticky forum on Final Fantasy and all of it's requests and demands in Oblivion... And although there really isn't much to cover that already hasn't, it would seem alot of people don't PAY ATTENTION! I've had a discussion like this, although it was about RuneScape, but I think the argument would fit here as well. In Final Fantasy, they tend to over-exaggerate everything that is actually cool... With the exeption of Sephiroth, lolz. Alot of modders shy away from Final Fantasy mods because they're just too complicated and barely yeilds acceptable results. Such as people wanting things like Midgar (the capital city from Final Fantasy VII) or intricate little designs like FF's vast amount of weaponry. I really don't mean to dampen anyones hopes here, but unless it's something that's OBVIOUSLY easy, or you're going to do it yourself... Then the list of Final Fantasy mods on the official thread is about as good as you're going to get bub. :thanks: Danuve Coil
  9. Well Kieranfoy, there are a wellspring of places you can go. I will be sketching them out myself, and if I can't seem to get something right then I will go to my favorite image site, DeviantART, and look for one myself. I'm especially looking for these robes known as the Zamorak Vestments and trying to get a cooler version of Trimmed Armor sets (armors such as Iron, Steel, Mithril, and Black armor with a secondary color)
  10. Well Jahile buddy, I think you may just have to Reinstall... I've never heard of any problems like these without it being fixed by messing with the options. Sorry
  11. Danuve here! Ok... So... I was looking around the forums to see just what people are wanting nowadays (although I could barely do anything to help :wallbash: ) and notice someone asking for RuneScape, and then verbally abusing anyone who tried to say anything that actually made sense on the subject. I myself am a veteran RuneScape player, and I understand now that it's basically World Of Warcraft for kiddos. However, after looking at a few of the items in-game, I can see how they could possibly fit into the world of Tamriel. Some of the elements in Jagex's MMORPG are actually pretty kick ass. :whistling: I know that the graphics in RuneScape are basically just eyesores, but if you had a reference picture that actually made it look GOOD. Such as in Final Fantasy 7 where everything was polygonal and they updated looks and everything for it's sequals... I'm slightly artistic, and if anyone is willing to take the time and actually look at my drawings and think about them before completely dubunking them, then there will be less RuneScape requests in the forums and happier Oblivion players. Basically what I'm saying is: Would you be willing to mod RuneScape items/weapons/armor/etc. into Oblivion if I can provide images with much better quality??
  12. Hey! Virgil Reeves AKA Danuve_Coil here! I'm requesting help on a little problem I'm having... I can't get screenshots to work on my computer at all. So I was wondering if SOMEONE in this wide community could possible download my latest mod and take a few screenshots FOR me?? Any help will be much appreciated... And I will do my best to reward those however I can't make any promises :/
  13. Sounds to me like you've never tried to create an OBSE dependant mod, Dezdimona. ...Ouch  To Keevon... Just check "Shivering Isles" in the data of the Construction Set... That's right isn't it? It's how I make mine anyway
  14. 1: WHERE THE HELL IS THE "MAP MARKER" OBJECT  ? I've nearly pulled all my hair out looking for it... 2:Is there some kind of template for making easy books? Like with fonts, effects (like center, etc.), and all that stuff? 3:How do you make a corpse? Instead of an npc... Is there a way to just make a dead dude?
