  1. I understand that there are things such as false positives and the download page says they are safe to use. Is that generally the case with a preset mod. I am not savvy enough to understand how a virus could be embedded in an preset.
  2. Yes, looking through that now. I have some that are similar, but not the exact one. So either I got it somewhere else or I installed it from a file. Another thought was that since I have something similar, maybe I am using an older or newer version of it.
  3. I had a mod, must have uninstalled it in between play-throughs. I am hoping someone can help me relocate it. I don't care about the mod itself so much, just interested in finding the name to verify that my workshop settlement menu isn't broken or corrupt. The mod had various lockers where I could place items on the shelf. The door could be left open or closed. Locked if you had a mod that allowed you to lock doors. There were also various displays you could put on some of the shelves of the locker. There was a BoS display I remember for sure, maybe one for each of the other factions as well. It seems like Do It Yourshelf items would also snap into place on it as well. I also remember a display with a baseball glove as well. Please does this sound familiar to anyone and could you give me the name? Thank you.
  4. Also, I guess I should mention, and I don't know if this is helpful, I could also attach a crash log if that could be of benefit.
  5. not yet. Going to try a new game first with it. If it locks up again, I will try a new game without. I looked at in the editor and I couldn't see anything that looked bad or out of place so I thought I would try giving it one more shot.
  6. Here is my attached load order. I admit I am not a load order expert, but I do try and a guide as best I can. My game version is the updated one (v1.10.984.0.0). I started a new game on the off chance that my game was corrupt, as it was a save that I downloaded. The mod in question Echoes from the Midwest Metal Armor. I read everything I could find on the mod page and didn't see where others were having my specific issue. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated. LoadOrder_Fallout4_2024-12-18T12-22-04.txt
  7. So I am in the process of troubleshooting. My question now deals specifically with the game freezes. Is it possible that a specific armor mod is causing the freeze? The reason I am asking, the times my game freezes up on me always seems to be when my character or a follower is wearing the armor from that specific mod. I don't know if there is any problem with the mod itself, but for whatever reason my game and/or PC doesn't seem to like it.
  8. Thanks everyone. I am going to try as much as I can to download files again. If I have all the proper files with a mod and I can get them into the proper folders in my game directory, is that basically just the same as installing manually if I have all the .esp, .esl and .ba2 files?
  9. Hmm, okay. I might have to try and wing it. As my computer is also used for my work, I can't have both the old and the new in the shop at the same time. I do have an external HD reader, so I will have access to the files at least. Many of them are just texture files so I may be okay anyway. The other thing, I haven't been able to play Fallout 4 for months because the last Windows 10 update made it so Fallout wasn't recognizing my mods as installed. My Load Game button was greyed out along with my Mods button. So a fresh install of everything might be in my best interest anyway. Thanks for the reply though.
  10. In the next week or so I am getting a new PC. My issue is I have had this computer basically since FO4 was released. Many of my mods are loaded into my game and I no longer have zip files for them. Some were mods I got of of Patreon, some have been removed from the Nexus site. In short, I can't reinstall the mod the same way I did initially. How do I go about keeping everything I have on my current PC and moving it to my new one once I have it? I am guessing it's not as simple as a cut and paste of the old folders onto my new PC, or is it? This is a little out of my PC knowledge and any help will be greatly appreciated.
  11. By the way, all your screen shots look great. I get what you are saying about dynamics but the first really is a nice screen shot. I love what you have done with Sanctuary. And even the girl, it's a nice preset imo.
  12. Are you sure that in the first pic you posted they are not just really impressed by how straight that row of corn is? Personally, I have dedicated a lot of time to straight crops :D
  13. I watched it too recently for the first time. It is great. Honestly, it even made me like characters I previously could not stand getting to know the people behind them. i should add that they are not just talented, but they all seem like great people.
  14. Bit the bullet and found the problem mod. Reinstalled it and the bench crash seems eliminated. Now just have to wait and see how stable my current config is.
  15. Whatever my problem was before I compounded it. My biggest problem is now a mod conflict as in a fresh, new game I crash every time I access a work bench. I have never had to troubleshoot this situation before. Is the only way to do it deactivate all my mods and then go a small group at a time? Is there a feature in FO4Edit that points to bad mods?
