  1. Aye, I have. Something just doesn't click with me apparently. I'm pretty sure I have the newest nifskope too.
  2. I'm attempting to bring in the files of a sword mod I've made. I've tried the 1stperson .nif and the base .nif, I've tried adding the texture maps as well, and several other combinations. But every time I go to pack my files, the archive creation tool stops working. The error that pops up literally shows nothing. What am I missing?
  3. Hey there. I'm new to modding in general and quite noob at it, and I just finished a first version of my weapon mod (a totally new sword, no vanilla in it) and want to load it into the SE CK. Alot of the posts have a good chunk of jargon I don't quite understand, although I get the rough edges. The SE CK seems to believe that the model I'm uploading doesn't exist and doesn't portray it, giving me marker error 3. I tried re-creating the .nif files, but still no luck. So obviously I need to convert my mod via the archive feature. But I'm not sure how to create the archive for it to pack/unpack. Worse comes to worse I will kindly ask for someone to upload the conversion for me (and hopefully someone does so), but I'd like to learn how to do it for the sake of future mods I want to create, because for the forseeable future I will upload my files to the standard Skyrim (until the majority of players and mods move over). Can you guys help me get through this?
  4. I've recently started working on my first mod, mostly out of curiosity. To my amazement, I actually sculpted a decent looking sword model, and quickly did a rough texture job on it just to see if I could get it working for the game, without any added light or blood mapping. Now I've got it rendering properly in game, I need help texturing it. I know how to, but for the life of me, no matter the size of the initial map I start with, the initial blends I use, it always turns out blurred and unattractive. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out with the textures? (I'm not quite sure which files to provide for you, but I am also a little nervous because even though its nothing overly impressive, it is my first mod and I am very protective of it). Obviously, when uploaded, the artist would get credit  I plan to have it on the Nexus as well as Bethesda.net so Skyrim SE users on PC and Consoles can use it. I was thinking a dark red leather-ish handle and a dark grey/black metal for the guard and pommel, with a lighter (but still 'dark') blade, with some Dragon-text on it, saying "Death's thorn". The name of the sword is "The Carver Sword", and I plan on releasing a "Carver Armory", with other weapons.
