However they are excited and want to get their hands on Dead Money especially but they also are interested in Old World Blues. IF this mod comes out they MIGHT make the DLC.

Here we can discuss progress, help other with modding, upload tutorials, and offer your services on the mod. This mod has had a bumpy start but progress is going to continue. If I can't get enough people to join it will just be uploaded to the nexus as a proof of concept. I'm on Christmas Vacation and the computer I'm currently using is sadly unavailable for duration. I got a height map from geological survey data to make the terrain and I want to import it into the GECK, that's what was used previously but its not working. I can't overwrite an existing one i loaded?

So I a trying to upload a height map into the GECK. I followed everything, 16 bit, 1024 x 1024, .RAW format but the GECK crashes every time I try to import it. Its a big map, almost 40 km. Is the size the problem? I really can not go smaller and its really bugging me that I can't get it to work. I have a height map already but I got a better one to use but for whatever reason it doesn't want to work.

It'd probably be easy. I mean its just yellow with white dots. Maybe I'll do something after I finish the project I'm doing now.

Ok, I have modeled a gun. Added a texture (albeit a shitty one). And I made a reload animation in blender. What do I do next, I am a relatively new modder and I am completely lost. This gun will be a cool gun I want to add for my Colorado Springs project. These are the screen shots I have taken. Its kinda a western "Thirst Zapper" as homage to Fallout 4. So, I don't mind using existing animations, the reload animation was all I needed to make. I'd like to make the bullets it shoots be the Plasma weapon textures just brown instead of green. Turn that green into brown to make it look like its shooting soda or whatever. If you could help me that'd be great. Also if you'd like to work on the Colorado Springs project with me let me know, I'm always looking for more people to help. Especially since everyone basically quit on me. Thanks for the help.

Making a mod right now set in Colorado Springs, you meet some raiders and after you kill them you pick up a note which starts the main quest for this mod. Alright folks, I want to get a group of volunteers and myself to work on a big mod like this that is comparable to mods like Project Brazil and The Frontier. Colorado has been relatively untouched in the Fallout universe and it would be cool to see this place come to life. There are cool places of interest like the Cheyenne mountain zoo and the Peterson air force base. If anyone is interested it would be cool to work on this. I have pretty shitty modding experience but learning would be nice.

Let me know what you guys think and whether or not It's worth it. The computer, which has a Nvidia GTX 960m, can run Skyrim, Fallout 3, and NV at ultra settings 60fps, but Fallout 4 at ultra settings 30fps. I want to download alot of mods and I'm not sure if this will work, I'd like to have a GTX 980m but I don't know. PS. A laptop is a must, no big computers.
