Oblivion is still played by a great amount of people, I think he means when dragons in particular were a hot subject, though for people like me, they're always a hot subject cause I really like Dragons and would love to see more of them in Oblivion and other games in general...They get no love... :sad:

Well, according to the thread, PyFFI will solve the lagging problem. I know they all the mods work together to an extent because the game loads, and I can play for a short time, but the lagging caused crashes. I'm re-merging all the mods I did before, but making sure I stamp out all incompatibilities before I do so. The only real problem I'm having now is that I can't open my inventory without the game freezing. But that hopefully will be fixed when I start new game, with less mods. Because I'm removing the ones I can do without. And my system could handle it, but recently I've been running out of memory, so I'm going to get another hard drive to put in my computer, hopefully freeing me to do whatever I want.

Thats what I do, I'm going to try and learn how to use PyFFI to optimize my meshes folder, I think my entire data folder has gotten to be over 37 GBs. I've been thinking I should just do a clean install because I've been installing mods like crazy, but I only want to do that as a last resort.

Yeah, but I do it anyway just to make sure I have all the files I need for a mod. I've found some mods that have BSAs that don't have all the files needed in that archive.

It runs, at least for a little bit, but lags my game. So it's iffy I think. And Do BSAs really matter if I extract the files anyway?

Okay, so I have over 400 mods I want to use, but it seems they have incompatibilities with each other, I've merged enough of them to actually get under the 255 limit, but this is where problems start I think. I have several overhaul mods, as well as several others, most of the mods are small (Under 300kb), merging them using TES4 Gecko doesn't seem to help, Any suggestions on what I can do to make them compatible? I'm using Wyre Bash The total number of mods I have comes to 479 (including ones that can be merged into the bashed patch)

I've found that when doing it myself breaks it. I've tried making a new file with everything from the mod and just removing all dependencies by just copying everything thats needed, but it didn't work out.

I want to use the mod "Wogs!" and that has a TI requirement. So while it might not make sense, I don't see a way around it unless I modify it myself and when I do that I tend to break mods.

Is it possible? I want to use COBL required mods, but I also want to use TI mods as well.

For some reason I'm missing the BSA Archive for the Spell Tomes DLC. I've tried verifying the game with Steam, but all files come back as normal. Has anyone else experienced this? I bought the Game of the Year Deluxe edition so I'd have all the DLCs, but I just don't understand how this could be missing...

That could also work. I always thought Dogmeat should have a constant "find" thing when you tell him to look for items. The only problem with it I can see is doing it outside where he could go off for miles just finding things to bring back, then theres the problem of how he manages to get all this stuff back to you, I don't think he can swallow a suit of power armor, so he'd need something or someone with arms to load up some sort of pack on his back. But you have to remember, he's still a dog, so he can't carry that much, so a pack brahmin might work for that role better.

Well, I could think like an item that when used would release a small robot that would gather everything up and bring it to you. It could be implemented as a perk or crafted item that requires near or at max science skill

I'm getting tired of picking up hundreds of items just to have my game crash then have to do it all over again, so an item that will loot things for me when used would be great. It should only pick up things that are loose, out of containers.

The quest for the Pitt won't start, all I have is the radio signal, and all Wherner does is stand around and won't talk to me. I've been trying to use the "startquest" command, but I don't think I'm getting it right because it's not starting that way either.

The last time I had GTS installed, there was a building near where the Point Lookout riverboat is when you have that DLC which is near the Arlington library. Now, I don't see it, is there a mod out there that will add this building back to the game?

I probably should have worded this better...I'm no good when it comes to scripting. I was asking for one to be made.
