Search mods for "essential" there are a couple of mods there that may help you.

Have you tried the forums for the manufacturer of the mouse?

From what I've seen, if you build walls and put miniguns, rocket launchers etc on them, if something spawns inside the wall, the weapons will turn round and attack them. I usually build 2 storey buildings fairly centrally and line the roof with weapons, that usually works.

This is my third playthrough and this time I can't get into the Mechanist's Lair. I have the mod that allows multiple companions and Ada is one of them, but she keeps wandering off. I can use the Summon Ada item on my Pipboy, but she just wanders off again. If I press look at her and press e, then look at the door and press e, I try to open it, there is no option for Ada to try. None of my other compaions can open it. I tried dismissing Ada but that doesn't work, nor does Recycleactor.

If you deleted the ini file and let it remake, you will need to modify it to allow the mods to work. This is a quote from a previous post by JimmyRJump. For mods to work you need to open the ini with a text editor (Notepad or Notepad++) and look for the header [Archive] Underneath the very last line of Archive you need to add the lines: bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Save and start the game with a few mods added; they should work now.

Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean that a Bethesda update won't screw up your game!!

The only things that I can think of (unless you can find any console commands) is to disable the mod or download and install one of the mods that clears Sanctuary and mke sure that it's lower in the load order than the mod that's causing the problem. One other thought, does the mod have a holotape that puts the blueprints into slots? If so can you delete that blueprint? Or maybe ask the mod author for help on the mod page.

Nuka world.... What was your Decision?
snapper69 replied to NVBlues's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
In my last playthrough, everything was OK until I went to Nuka World, then I got stuttering and frame rate drop, even after I left there, so my decision, this time, was not to go anywhere near there. -
Two mods should take care of the problems ith Spectacle Island. First install one of the mods to build a bridge, that should take care of the supply lines, then install the Settlement Attacks Beyond mod, which stops them spawning inside the settlement. One of my favourite settlements (sfter Sanctuary) is Starlight Drive-in, it's big and flat with a water source in the middle. If you use the Scrap Everything mod, you can scrap the existing buildings and start from scratch.

Jsut started my third playthrough, so far I have Dogmeat (as a Human Female) and Ada, also as a female. Soon I will go and pick up Cait, then later Curie and that will do for me. Last time, I took Piper to Sanctuary, put her into a skimpy outfit and put her behind a bar, so I didn't have to listen to her.

Thank god for that.

I installed the original after I finished the main quest, it certainly livened things up around the Commonwealth. I'm looking forward to the new one for this playthrough.

Thank god fot console commands, in my last playthrough I neeed to use one to get past a glitch in Fire Support, plus a couple of other glitches, this time I only got as far as waking up in the vault for the first time, only to see my wife and baby walking about outside the pods.

There's also a mod to stop enemies spawning inside a settlement, I use that and heavily protect the entrances, plus turrets on high buildings "just in case"

Random lag spikes and CTDs when playing F4 with mods
snapper69 replied to NecronMirelurk's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Loot isn't 100%, for example, it puts Scrap Everything quite a way up the order, when it needs to be right at the bottom.- 5 replies

Best install location to put fallout 4 ?
snapper69 replied to mrphresh's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Assuming that you are running Windows, 150 Gb is (in my opinion) too small, you have to allow for drivers, updates, the page/swap file and probably a few other things besides. Having too little space on your OS drive will slow things down a lot more than having your games on a slightly slower SSD (many people play games using slower HDDs). The benifit of an SSD is faster loading times, the speed of the game is more to do with your cpu and your graphics card, both of which you seem to have covered. I would be temted to load the OS on the 256Gb drive and Steam on the larger 500Gb drive. Your English is fine, I very much doubt that I could write a post in your first language.- 7 replies

Did you have Don't Call Me Settler installed?

Can't you just sneak up behind them and pickpocket the fusion core?
