  1. That worked! Thank you! I don't know why I didn't try that from jump. I still feel like an idiot but at least we can end this thread.
  2. yes, it does. it gives me the windows cannot open this file message. And asks me what program. I just don't understand why if it is an .exe, why doesn't it show it or work like it is.. I have the (hide known file extentions) unchecked but still it doesn't show the file as an executable..
  3. Hmm. I guess it has to be on my end. But I clicked the link you posted, it took me to the same place I downloaded it from before, clicked manual download, and the file is 0.65.2-4-0-65-2 [1] (with no extention)? I am on a new factory restore of a windows 7 pc. and I'm starting to feel like an idiot.
  4. Thank you for your opinion. Although that did nothing to help with the fact that the download link for NMM 0.65.2 does not give you an executable file that can be recognized by windows anymore. Is there any way to download NMM (and actually open it) or is it vortex or nothing at this point? Anyone? Please.
  5. I just tried to install Nexus Mod Manager 0.65.2 manually to no avail. It seems it is no longer an executable file so windows doesn't know how to open it. Am I missing something? This has never happened before and I was hoping that not diving into Vortex in the alpha stage was still an option.
  6. Ok, extracted the ba2's I needed and found them in the mix. So I just replace the d.dds files by making pics the same size and save under the name and rename old ones? Because in the tutorial Elianora is changing .nif files. Or is that just for custom stuff? Little lost
  7. Awesome! I think I got all I needed to keep me busy for a while. Thanks Everyone!
  8. Thanks, If they are I know I can make the .dds files I need in gimp. I've done it before for an old oblivion mod. I'm assuming that when I find the .dds files that I want to replace, I can save them to the side and name the new ones whatever the old ones were. I thought they would be in textures but no such luck.
  9. I was hoping to implement some Underdog nostalgia (GoGo Gophers, Tennesee Tuxedo, Commander McBragg ect.) into the wasteland. Kinda like Tenamil did with the Dragon Ball Z pictures mod. But I'm having trouble finding the right files. Are they .dds files? Is there a big difference between changing Pictures, Posters, and Billboards? Can I pull it off with the Creation Kit, NifSkope, and Gimp? If anyone can shine some light on this that would be great. Even a tutorial specific to this would be awesome. Thanks
  10. In response to post #24495219. #24501694, #24502214 are all replies on the same post. I totally agree with the idea of a donate button. Of all the concerns I've seen, A donate button (that doesn't tell the world what someone has made off a mod) would be ideal in retaining what makes nexus so great. That way mods remain free, and modders get the UNDENIABLE LOVE that they DESERVE. The elephant in the room being the house cut.
  11. You can also change load order with Oblivion Mod Manager (obmm). Sorry this doesn't apply to fallout. Forgot this isn't a strictly Oblivion forum.
