  1. is there any tutorials for making models in 3ds max and exporting for da toolset and importing into the game thanks, i'm still quite new to this and a tutorial or a video tutorial will greatly help
  2. cool i have the models from the game just need help exporting for dragonage
  3. haha Nice 1, i never tried that, i once tried sneaking kill without getting caught, i failed, i'm more of a upfront kill kinda person, fight with them knowing
  4. well i know it dont suit the world of dragon age but i would love to have any of chris outfits in resident evil 5 i alredy have the models ripped just no clue how to get them into dragon age. and they look really cool
  5. it will be in toolset folder in override or in module/core/override/toolset folder
  6. well i had that problem where it was in the air, all i can say is using blender keep repositioning it , exporting and testing ingame till it goes right, im not that good with modelling sorry
  7. click file new - material then when it open right click Root and click insert-new tint library then right click tintlib then insert - new tint object on the right side there should be false on all of them click them till they all say true except last one. then optimise the colours however u like export to local look in documents/bioware/dragonage/module/core/override/toolset or documents/bioware/dragonage/packages/core/override/toolset or if your using a module u created look in addins and name of your project then just copy the tint to override folder this is the easiest bit but you will need a program like microsoft excel to read xls locate the folder where you installed dragonage then \tools\Source\2DA and look for tints.xls go to tints override, then find a blank space, type the next number, name of it to be called, filename including the .tint. the rest can be blank save it to desktop then go to where you installed dragonage Dragon Age\tools\ResourceBuild\Processors look for Excelprocessor and drag the tint.xls over the excelprocessor.exe and drop it then let it extract it look for tintoverride and copy and paste it to either override folders in documents/bioware/dragonage/packages/core/override or programfiles/dragonage/packages/core/override i personally prefer program files override as it empty and clean and easy to find then open up toolset create or edit the item you wish to recolor and look for tint override and your color should be there enjoy if it too hard to understand follow this guide creating tints for datoolkit
  8. I think so, does she have blonde hair, and fights really well i also extracted some assassin's creed models, it looks really nice, but i need to extract some textures for the outfit and i have no clue where it would be
  9. hehe yea, lucy does annoy me at times, but if u think about it if u see lucy in ac1 then see her in ac2 u can see her face has improved quite a bit, also i find the battles fun expecially the last boss. i like having 1 on 1 battles, but that is just me
  10. it might do, i am not sure as i havent edited like that, i only have made my own cutscenes and made new stages
  11. i had that problem before use malwarebytes anti-malware it fixes most my problems heres a link Malware hope it helps and fixes your problems
  12. they would be stages, try changing cameras on the conversations to see if that helps, it usually does and if you can check the stages and add cameras yourself
  13. to be honest i prefer mass effect as both the character, decisions and if your reneage or not carries over, so say in me1 you were bad all through it killed everything that entered your paths including innocents , then in me2 the innocents that you killed would no longer be living and the place that they were staying at would be disbanded (it would say something over the radio or whatever it is they used), also whoever you romanced in me1 would be in me2 and would say something different to say if you were just friends or made a new character file in me2 instead of continuing so my vote would be ME2 all the way as da2 is not a game hwere you would carry on the same character
  14. i think you would have to modify the cutscenes entirely to move the camera or it might be to edit the stages to change the cameras around
  15. nice, hmm my most random thing was walking around aimlessly exploring random areas and finding vaults, i liked the one where theres like a drug in the air and you get hullcinations, i want another vault like it lols. i also on another file destoryed megaton by blowing the bomb then when i am in tenpenny i killed Burke and took his outfit, then i killed tenpenny and took his hehe no one knew what i did but it was a hellofafun
  16. i get kinda the same problem except it dont appear in dragon age or toolset, and my hair always seems to enlarge when i export it no matter what i do i use 3ds max 2010
  17. i can add it to the character select screen but i have to modify the back of the hair somehow as it too wide
  18. yeah, maybe the head isnt positioned right, try moving the hair and see if that helps
  19. just make sure that it is named properly in the chargenmorph, u dont name it what the filename is i dont think
  20. its to do with the mmh and mao files you edit them in toolset so it directs the files to your msh files
  21. as long as u remove the right files it shoudlnt be a problem, it wont caus any conflicts if there is no duplicates
  22. well you will need to open the files in toolset, mao and mmh i believe and make sure it directs to the files you created, then if you dont have any hair mods then you will need to make a file chargenmorph.xml and make sure your file is on there, under hair. and when you create game find your hair and see if it looks right
  23. what about when someone makes a model and with their permission to make it work with another game so say a model with oblivion to convert it to work with dragon age
