Hi guys! I love it when things get a revamp. I'm looking at the new layout and I'd just like to suggest that you keep the colours dark. I notice a lot of white and bright, I know it's difficult to pick the right shades and colours etc.. but I clicked on the button that offered me a peek at it and the first thing I noticed was my headache coming on. It seems too bright for me, sorry :sad: Overall though I like the layout. I think it's nice. Maybe try to darken the bright borders and strips of white, it's painful to look at for me, anyway. Others will obviously think differently and I'm glad it doesn't hurt their eyes, at least :smile: I think something that could help is to tone down the white lettering a little more. It's too bright for my eyes and I'm not old at all lol! Have a look at the shade of white Steam uses, that doesn't seem to be a problem for me. This actual forum page I'm typing this on here is absolutely perfect but still, the lettering is very bright and I reckon you could tone that down a bit more which would help a lot of people's eyes and headaches! :)

Categories are great. Because they allow me to get to what I want to look for faster. As long as I can access the content, and NMM is always there to let me click it, I'm good. I might want to see if there are some mods for water, or sky.. a category selector will help me find what I want, which seems to already exist cheers, and that's basically all I need from nexusmods, thanks btw :) Also, correct me if I am wrong, but it seems as though people who use the nexus for free, cannot report any harassment, abuse or incidents of that nature etc. I don't think that is a good thing. I have also noticed that when using the search/browse filters, it seemed to be case-specific, using capital letters was required in some cases. This might not be the right place to post this, sorry, I'm new. Just thought it might be useful to know, thanks.

Oh I noticed something that I found awkward; When looking at the replies to my comments, I click on the notification in the drop-down list there, expecting it to take me to the reply, and on this occasion it did not, I had to scroll through all the entire thread here, to find your reply here. Anyone had that happen before? Looking forward to seeing the new look anyhow.

I completely agree. The only reason why it's being done is because so many people (who want to use a mobile phone to browse when they should be doing other things) want it. Why? I only use nexus when at my computer, ready to look at trying out mods, yanno, like what the site is actually for? Why put it on a mobile phone, what's the point???

I like how it is / has always been. I'm just getting used to it now. If it changes, I'm back at square one. If it's changing for people on mobile phones etc, then why don't they keep the PC version as it is? Okay, maybe make a few improvements, but a complete overhaul is just not needed in my opinion. Anyway, good luck to them. Looks like a lot of work.
