i was half asleep last night thinking about downloading some immersion mods (which i don't usually go for) and i thought "reallisticly how does a 6 foot deadric chainsaw fit into a 2 foot long chest?" answer: it doesn't. so heres the idea: a chest (or several) that open like a dispay case. realism fans would go nuts. what do you think?

Ok I got it installed thank for the heads up and sorry if i seem like a %&$!. i hadn't gotten baked in three days. :wacko: i now have nifkope yay!!!!!

never mind. all this is way too much trouble just to get one painting i requested into the game. i just started modding a week ago and i dont have enough experience yet. i've only owned my computer for a few months now and installing source code and creating batch file and all this other crap is a little beyond my capabilities right now. if that painting i requested is fixed so its just drag, drop, and load the nif, please let me know.

Dling it wasn't the problem its installing nifskope. i went here:http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope/Compile and got completely lost. i tried to follow directions as much as possible but i'm not very computer literate. i thought installing nifskope was as easy as DL an installer but the wiki page i went to says i need to creat batch files and download source code seperately. i'm not the the shapest tool in the shed when it coms to stuff like that. Note:that page i linked to? i got stuck on the compile nifskope step. i copied the code provided and couldn't get it to work

i'm trying to install nifskope on my laptop and its confusing as hell. if somebody has the time and patience to walk me through it i would really appreciate it. my live messenger address is [email protected]. i have a camera and mic too. or we can do it through pm's. either way. i'll be online all day.

ok i went Here and started installing. i got to the subject "MinGW Build" and got lost. i have the 64bit version of vista installed and i'm not sure how to get this working. if some can walk me thru how to install nifskope that would be wonderful. my live messenger address is [email protected] or just pm me. i'll be online all day and probably most of the night. please help!!!

is there a version of nifskope for vista? or is vista going to mess things up(as usual)? Edit i found the windows installer. if i have any more issues i'l ask questions here. thanks for your patience with my extreme noobishness :)

how do you add the texture? i dont see any option to..... do you add the texture in the CS? or do i need another program to do that? ........i'm such a noob......... :unsure:

i draged and dropped the meshes and textures into my data folder exactly as they were packaged. i loaded the nif but they just show up purple any way.

Wow thanks for the extra stuff! BTW what file path did you use? cuz they keep showing up Purple in the CS

what does gnd stand for? example "wmhood_gnd.nif" i'm trying to load a robe resorce into the CS and i'm not sure what that means.. :rolleyes:

has anybody thought about making the fight animations from the force unleashed? i think i would be popular as hell, especialy if the sord stance looks right. just an idea. :thumbsup:

Can somebody frame this picture for me? i want to put it in the tower i'm building but i don't yet know how to do things like this myself. Here's The Picture....... i just want it portait size like the other pictures in the game with a darker color frame

ok i tried pms, and leaving a message on the DC release thread and i still haven't gotten an answer. is b3w4r3 ever on anymore?

is it availible as a modders resorce? i want to use the furniture in a tower i'm building and i don't want to get in trouble for using them.
