  1. It doesn't matter how many times you read this, it gets you going even more than the last time. Now all we're missing is the Todd Howard voice-over reading all of this.
  2. M'aiq wants new shoes... and robes for that matter. Tattered rags is all he gets and hears that Skyrim is full of new clothes and shoes for M'aiq. M'aiq is wary of this fast travel and enjoys brisk sprints through the countryside.
  3. I'd like to think that Lachance and the rest of the Black Hand would be able to survive an attack from a lowly murderer... although this is not so in vanilla Oblivion  IF someone was able to kill him, the Dark Brotherhood would know that the player was to be recruited and therefore know who he was, making infiltration impossible. However, an option to go against the Dark Brotherhood either from within or from outside would be a good option to have, although such a task would be monumental in undertaking * it would perhaps be possible... I'll keep this concept in mind for my own mod, as this is something that I'd largely not thought about... *
  4. I've followed the multiplayer attempts since 2006 and can confirm that they work, albeit with limited function. There was also MultiTES4 and OblivionOnline; Oblivion Reborn being made by a previous member of OblivionOnline. The team involved with Oblivion Reborn (QWERTY Games) are also working on another game (MMO last time I checked) and it's very unlikely that Oblivion Reborn will see any further development. Too bad, a good coop play or even arena matches would have been very fun.
  5. I use "All Natural" as well, but I can agree with what he's saying. The sound could be louder, but I think overall the problem is in distance visibility, there's no weather more immersive for me than a 'wall of rain' downpour. Perhaps enforcing a heavy sort of fog effect would mend that... the sound could be fixed by simply importing the sound files into Audacity and amplifying them though.
  6. Thanks, I've put many hours into it. One running problem is I need to cripple my compy with 8X Antialiasing and QTPIII to get a near true reading for FPS, I don't want to design it for a super computer then not have anyone be able to use it... I'm figuring it out bit by bit though, as they say- it's a labor of love :D
  7. For the female bodies try the Eye Candy mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10168 it's fantastic. I'd also recommend a male body replacer: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14942 and using one of the better underwear than a loincloth. To stop a shopkeeper from following you you would need to go into the AI Package for each one and uncheck "Continue if PC near". A horse summon mod using a spell (likely a Power or Lesser Power) would definately be possible by using the PlaceAtMe command, adding new spells with horse purchase would be perfectly possible. A couple good armor/ weapon compilations are Armamentarium: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13884 and Bob's Armory: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...ail&id=1860 . I also recommend Ren's Beauty Pack: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4431 . If you'd like me to list others I would be able to help you, but I think these should suffice.
  8. He said there are almost none that make it past the initial stages. I've attempted a couple TCs, and if you want advice I'd say to start smaller, as except in a few isolated occasions they turn out to be a waste of time, no offense. If you want help beginning a new world use this tutorial I used called World Building 101: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index...rldBuilding_101 . Good luck nonetheless friend.
  9. No offense but most of that text doesn't make sense... slightly better interpreting of the translator would help.
  10. Thanks and I had wrote this in OpenOffice and the formatting didn't transfer, I was occupied with my mod while posting this, I'll fix that now.
  11. I'm looking for another modder, who like myself has fluent understanding of the CS and it would be great for them to have a good understanding of the dialogue system. I've worked in teams before. With teams it doesn't work well talking over the internet so I'm looking for only one modder to team up with. I'll try to give a low-down of the mod as best I can. I'm going to go through each town, settlement, and individually every district of the Imperial City and add new NPCs, buildings, expand current buildings (basements, etc., ...), enhance quests and guilds (NPCs, functions, duties) piece by piece. This mod is modular, it gets done as it gets done, it will be released in pieces- meaning even if I don't get to doing every town I will still be able to release what I have done. I don't aim to create new textures or models but look to use content already available, maybe use modders resources, I haven't decided. I want to add things that Oblivion lacked in the first place, and not tack on an extra quest or guild but make it feel as though it was there all along. I currently have much of the Imperial City Waterfront, Arboretum, and Skingrad mapping done, I will supply the actual files and as much info requested to those interested. I am very motivated by what I saw done in Fallout 3 and earlier with Morrowind and am looking to enter the field of Game Design after college so I am extremely motivated to do this project. If you don't have a passion for games don't bother responding to this, I'm looking for someone who is serious about modding. I've dealt with unmotivated people in the past and many times have been told "I have a lot of real life stuff going on right now, I can't mod for a while", frankly I'm tired of it. Many times people get the game and the CS, then get excited about it and lose interest within a couple months- I've played and modded Oblivion since it came out and still am very interested in modding it. I have a true passion for games and want to make a living from them eventually, this mod is something I've spent a lot of time on and look to spend many more hours on it. I can send any information and the files I've done thus far if you doubt my skill. If someone has the passion I have for this (game design, modding) then make a post, I can show you every mod I've ever worked on (regardless if I finished it or not) if you want. I haven't uploaded much, and this is the only one I've released in the last year or so as I've been through a rough year last year health-wise (never stopped working on this mod though, going a year strong). One last thing, here's a screenshot I just quickly took of my modded waterfront thus far. All the new houses have new NPCs (Waterfront Fishermen) and unique interiors just so you all know. As I said all information and files are currently available to those who are truly interested. I appreciate those who read this far and eagerly await a response. Thank you all for your time. ~ Erik
