  1. Thanks a lot! Erm... While attempting to NOT sound like a jerk, may I ask what you're a fan of? Edit: May have failed at not sounding like a jerk. I am a fan of everything, really. Do you eat food? I am a fan. Don't worry, you don't sound like a jerk lmao
  2. Huge fan of yours, (Matthiaswagg). Great job and keep up the good work! If I have any ideas, I will definitely defer them to you.
  3. It would be cool if you could name your children and then once they grow to a certain age, play as them, and as your kids age, so do you. You know, extend the family tree.
  4. A mod involving the return of Ragnar the Read? Or how you find out that Ragnar the Red is the headless horseman that patrols the plains around Whiterun? Interesting topic. If your interested, let me know.
  5. Where is it exactly? Nearby any prominent locations?
  6. Well yeah... There is... I was talking about in in-game one, where you don't have to pause the game to look at. It would keep the premises of an RPG and stay realistic.
  7. Ha! The "!" like in the game Fate? That's great, but I feel like it'd take away from the realism. Maybe you could press a button and it would bring up a small box with a list of the selected quests only, and would have the first objective for each thought? Just an idea. Also, maybe it could be in the form of a journal. So when you press the key to view the quests, the Dovahkiin would just pull up a journal and look at his quests. Seems like a cool idea.
  8. Very interesting... I'll think about it and suggest it to one of my friends. Doubt we'll do it, but who knows?
  9. I hate it when I tell a follower to stay and I don't realize it, then I leave a dungeon and can never find them again. What I would really like is a simple mod that when activated (spell, shout (like the call horse whistle)) where I could cancel any "stay" commands given and call my follower back to me. Anyone interested? Thanks.
  10. if you can't kill anyone the dark brotherhood orders you to, then you shouldn't be in the brotherhood, hail sithis
  11. That's quite interesting... I am a noob so I wouldn't be able to do this xD
  12. Source? As far as I know, no information has come out, nor will it come out any time soon. Morrowind 2001, Oblivion 2005, Skyrim 2011. We can expect another TES title to be out around 2016-2017. Before that we will most likely get a new Fallout title, given they keep to their trend. Also, FYI, ESO had no impact on the new TES game, which has, most likely, been in development since Skyrim was released. So if there was any talk before ESO, and it stopped thanks to it, it would not be reliable in any way. I could be wrong, of course, but I would love a source for that. Is anyone here actually interested in helping out? I'd love some help.
  13. Oh, I didn't know that. Well anyway, are you interested in helping out?
  14. I don't think any info has been released as of yet for the next ES (ESVI)...
  15. The next Elder Scrolls is ESO... and it takes place in all of Tamriel. This is a made up place, too.
  16. Journey to the land of Solhem as the dragonborn.... http://i.imgur.com/wLHxufV.png The Elves of Solhem fear a constant danger that threatens the lives of many... http://i.imgur.com/bwIwgGM.png WIP MAP Journey to the land of Solhem, a mysterious place known for its Elvish rule. It resides somewhere between the Summerset Isles and Hammerfell, where few people have discovered it. The basic idea behind the plot is as follows: You will get a letter from someone concerned for the Queen's saftey, begging you to come and help. Upon reading the letter, the marker will lead you to a dock with a boat waiting for you. The boat will take you to Solhem [meaning Sun-Home] an island between Hammerfell and the Summerset Isles mainly inhabited by high elves. The boat parks at Vidvatten docks, a mainly Nordic village where the populace mines and smiths due to the rich mines nearby. As you reach the docks you will be met by the Queen's adviser who will lead you to a house in Vidvatten, which he says you can rest in for the night he hands you a key and leaves. The next morning you may head out to Solhem, as you arrive into the castle you will walk into a scene. A priest and all the city's villagers and guards are assembled. The princess is getting married to a prince of a foreign land, she reluctantly accepts the vows of marriage after the ceremony the citizens leave and you are free to speak to the queen who sits in her throne. The queen will explain to you that there is a vault beneath the castle containing which gives you eternal protection and life.. But it is unlocked by a shout only the dragon born can master, she needs this because there is an attack coming from a big group of nords wishing to claim the island. If she dies Solhem will be turned to ruins as neither of her two children are fit to rule, hence the marriage. She is afraid her daughter will kill or divorce her new husband as she was married against her will, and her son is unmarried and willing to meet a wife. This is where you get the two main quest lines which when completed will lead you to the final quest. The Queens quest- This quest takes you to three different 'dungeons' ( The three x's on the map) where in the end you acquire a word for the shout which will open the vault. You must acquire each location from different folk in the three 'lower' cities. Bytesman, Moon-da & Ashenvale. Each person will demand you do a simple quest for them for them to reveal the location to you. Two of the dungeons will be typical ones, and the third and final will be a dwemer one. Each arising in difficulty. The Daughter's quest- The princess is worried about the fate of the land if nobody fit is left to rule, she does not believe in her new husband. You will get to make a choice whether you want to marry the princess or the prince ( The marriage will be separate from yours at home in skyrim, hence they may not move in to any of your other locations. Although when you are married a set of kids will be given to you, and a choice of homes in Solhem. ) If you choose the princess you must murder her husband discretely. If you want to marry the prince you must find him something entertaining, speaking more with him will reveal he likes music so brining him a lute or drum will satisfy him. After you have chosen one of them and done what they required you must gain a title, the princess suggest you arise to be a general by clearing out (The three enemy fortress the three blue squares on the map) Once cleared, you may marry the sibling you chose, you will move in to a manor with said person and receive a set of kids. The final fight. After getting married and holding the ceremony The Enemy nords are ambushing the city, like in the Imperial/Stormcloak quest line there will be a similar fight. After the fight is over you return to the castle, the queen lies dead on a pedestal. The prince and princess are cowering by her crying. After that there is a 'small' funeral and her tomb will then be placed in a room in the castle where the player can visit at any time. After this, the player is the king/queen and will be given some 'royal duties' quests to do but the main quest line is basically over after this. As noted, I am working with several others (one of whom generated the idea) and we are looking for a few more people to help us along. 17. Also seems to be a great idea, so message meh! or you can email me... I'll give that to you if you decide you'd like my help. Thanks!
  18. I would definitely love to help- I am better at building cities rather than scripting or meshing, though. I could build a city or two...? Although I am not sure how to transfer Creation Kit data from one computer to the next, but I can be taught. I also have several ideas that I wanted to use for my mod, but I would be happy to let you use them.
  19. I actually had the idea of rebuilding that house- the one near Whiterun, though I eventually gave up on the idea due to me being a novice modder.
  20. What happens when you try to use steam? Why won't it let you download from Workshop?
  21. What I have always wanted in Skyrim was a guild that I could accompany to various dungeons and ruins to clear them and figure out what how the dungeon/ruin became that way. I think a small group of several people could go out into dungeons with the Dovah and get the treasure, find out what happened and kick ass along the way would make a great mod and be very fun to play, which is why I am looking for a few people (with a decent amount of modding experience) to help me create this mod. If your interested or have ideas, please read the bottom section. (Scroll down!) With this mod, I aim to add several things: 1. A join-able guild that clears out a wide variety of ruins/dungeons in Skyrim searching for historical artifacts that could give explanation for unknown events that happened to Skyrim pre-dragon/oh crap era 2. 15-20 new Nordic, Bandit, Warlock/Vampire, Draugr, Forsworn, and Dwemer 3. An explanation to the popular question: "Why the hell did the Dwemer disappear??" Because I know plenty of Skyrim-ers who are interested in finding out. (Here's why: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Disappearance_of_the_Dwarves) 4. A couple new loading screens for old Skyrim-related historical items to give the mod a wider range of depth 5. Deep, well scripted, fully-voiced, cool and funny characters who all play a role in the guild 6. I was thinking of adding the "Last Dwarf" where the guild has to go into Oblivion to save the last living Dwarf and his race from going extinct, to find out how the race nearly died and why *PLEASE READ* One question first: How does one share CK files with someone else? I do not know, so if someone could answer, that would be fantastic. For modding... I am looking for modders who are familiar with modding Skyrim. Personally, I have most experience at building areas like dungeons or working with landscape. (Do you guys use Creation Kit on steam? Is there any other way of modding Skyrim??) But I guess I would need... Two-three people willing to donate their skills to the entertainment of other Skyrim modders and maybe around 10 or so willing voice actors who would like to lend their voices. Anyway, if you are interested in helping me out, please email me at: [email protected] Any ideas or comments please just comment in the area below. Thanks!
  22. There is a mod like this on Steam workshop, but I couldn't find it on Nexus. It's called "Aduras merchant mod - Player shops"
