  1. Thanks for confirming. It was bothering me for a while.
  2. I guess all I am wondering is: is that top screenshot in my previous post normal when running CoT? If so, then we can call it day. To me, it seems like distant LOD trees are not affected by CoTs lighting.
  3. Are you using a larger uigridstoload? I'm certain it is happening only on the "snowy" LOD trees in the distance. If you have time, can you get up high and take a screenshot of the tundra forest? Somewhere up on the mountain just south of Dawnstar. Looking down on the white forest. Can you get a shot with an aurora up there? If anything just to clear my mind. Its really been bugging me. Here is me up at Dimhollow Crypt facing Dawnstar: http://i.imgur.com/A4IZW5m.jpg Pretty bad eh? And to compare without CoT: http://i.imgur.com/KXtxEGd.jpg
  4. I'm convinced it is only under certain weather conditions. I went to windhelm, did fw 81a and the distant trees were fine. Then light snow started and I watched as the trees in the distance began to stand out more and more as the storm progressed. Check these out, its not even night time and you can tell: http://i.imgur.com/PDPQ6MI.jpg Far away: http://i.imgur.com/QQTdkao.jpg Get up close: http://i.imgur.com/8EcNZCx.jpg Also, under an aurora is really bad.
  5. No other tree mods or SFO was installed in those shots. All that was loaded when I took those screenshots above were the three main game ESMs and CoT. That's it. Traveled to Windhelm, waited, set the weather and took the shot. Hmmm, maybe its the 2K texture pack that makes it work? It says it has new LOD textures for landscapes and trees. I will try it out. By the way, that is a nice screenshot!
  6. Did a test on my wifes machine where there is a clean install of vanilla skyrim. Fired up CoT, went to Windhelm, forced clear weather (fw 81a) and then an aurora started. Here is the screehshot: http://i.imgur.com/IxG1aRA.jpg Check out those glowing trees! Just outside Whiterun: http://i.imgur.com/w0KJnOR.jpg
  7. No change to uigrids. Hmmm, it might be just during certain weather? Are you able to force an aurora? The few times I have seen this and also reported by others, there was an aurora. Do you have some ini tweak in place that never makes trees go low LOD at a distance? Here is another user reporting the same thing with a screenshot (doesnt look like there is an aurora in this one, though): http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/686605-project-reality-climates-of-tamriel/?view=findpost&p=6893131
  8. No, I dont think so. It definitely has to do with CoT. At night, the distant LOD trees seem to glow. Even with SOF disabled. No ENB used either. CoT makes the nights darker and I guess doesnt make the distant trees darker. Would have thought more people would know about this as it is a pretty popular mod.
  9. I get the same thing and agree with fiewiel. Its just lag from unloading vram and loading again. I gets way worse if I enable Ultra shadows.
  10. There seems to be an issue with glowing blueish trees at night when using Climates of Tamriel. Check out this example: http://i46.tinypic.com/2mwi3aq.jpg Without CoT: http://i47.tinypic.com/9kouo7.jpg I would ask in the CoT thread but it is closed. If you search the CoT thread, it has been reported a few times. Just wondering, since this mod is so popular, if there is a known workaround for this? Or should we wait for v3 of CoT due at the end of the month?
  11. Yeah, I came to the conclusion that it is vanilla and/or DLC related. I installed fresh with just DH/HF/DB on a separate PC yesterday and experienced this same thing on that PC.
  12. Aha! So, you get it too? Man, I was starting to go nuts. What mods do you have installed?
  13. Thanks for your input. Let me see if there are any left over files when I remove some of the mods in question. I'm looking for NIF files right? Specifically in the actors/character folder?
  14. Darn, unless I'm removing it incorrectly, that's not it. Tried disabling as well as totally removing the mod. Maybe the place needs to reset with the mod inactive? Any other ideas? No one else has seen this before? As a test, I used the console to select that NPC, get its refid and then I used the moveto player command to get him to stand up. The NPC went back to sit down on the stool and he sat down properly. Guess its just an issue when the area loads or something. Edit: I also disabled every mod and loaded up a game and he was still sitting like that. Oh well, no biggie. Not like its game breaking or anything.
  15. I'm not sure when it started, but a lot of the time when entering taverns, people are sitting halfway down sunk into the bar stool. Wondering if it is a vanilla issue or caused by my mods. Check out this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/MHptgRI.jpg Here is my load order: http://pastebin.com/TfzYWC6J Has anyone else seen this before? Other times they're ok. When I sit, it is ok too.
  16. Edit: Going to post in Skyrim Troubleshooting instead. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/926440-help-npcs-sinking-into-bar-stools-screenshot-and-load-order/
  17. If a load order will help, here it is: http://pastebin.com/L5wFsa5S
  18. I want to uninstall Imps More Complex Needs mod and try out a different Needs mod. I followed Imps instructions to first, Pause the mod so that the stats go back to normal, and then save the game. I then disable the mod in NMM and load that new save. The game does load up ok, no crash to desktop or anything, but it really messes things up in-game. First off, all other SKSE hot keys that other mods use dont work anymore. (Frostfall's weathersense key for example doesnt work.) The core Frostfall mod doesnt work anymore either. The mod is active, but the stats arent being updated anymore. Also, Convenient Horse's hotkeys do not work anymore. I have a couple papyrus logs. One is a "good" one from a working game load with Imps More Complex needs active. Everything works ok in this game. (You can see a whole section for Frostfall in the log.) The "bad" one is a log from loading a save that was made after disabling Imps mod. Obviously something is up as you can see there are still references to Imps stuff in there. It doesnt even seem to be getting to loading Frostfall in the log at all. BAD papyrus log: http://pastebin.com/k2mY7gaU OK papyrus Log: http://pastebin.com/fQC420FS What do you think, guys? I have a save back from a week ago before installing Imps. I'll use that as a last resort I guess. Or maybe just keep on using Imps, I dont know. Thanks for looking at this.
