Folks what I found to work in the end was to first VERIFY (or whatever it is that STEAM calls it) your files by openning Steam - right click on the named game - scroll to the bottom and go to properties - in the LOCAL FILES section click on "verify integrity" ........ I ALSO had to restart my PC a couple of times as well and make sure F4SE hadnt left any old .exe laying about! Oh, and I also went through my Steam settings and made sure FO4 wasnt playing in online mode LOL That gave me a solid 4 hours gameplay uninterrupted last night :) Reading through old postings yesterday, this seems to be a pretty common solution to this one - hope this helps.

I've been playing FO4 perfectly fine for the last week without any problems, running upwards of 200 mods (mostly petty stuff), but like you Narius I am being forced into the original loader on a loop. I f you press play then it just reloads the FO4.exe load page again. Steam hasn't pushed any stealth updates on me that I am aware of, and F4SE hasnt been updated!! The last thing I want to do today is sit here reinstalling my FO4 - it was bad enough doing that a couple of weeks ago having to do the same for Oldrim when something happened on that :(

Looks like I have probs elsewhere then, or have misread something and overcomplicated the whole thing :confused:

I've done that Dan AND even followed IanPatt's advice to delete various .pex files https://community.bethesda.net/thread/3335?start=255&tstart=0 Sadly, like so many others I keep reading of on the forums, I just keep getting the *Play/Options/Support/Exit* screen over n over n over .... not even the full start screen anymore :confused: I have no idea what is actually going on with this last update, but it really does look Beth' have rogered the pooch so to say :sick: I just hope I dont have to reinstall my whole FO4 once this mess is 'sorted' because I had things running so sweetly (for a change) .

me too LOL ...... Now we gotta go turning all those sweet F4SE mods off an' run the old fashioned way :mad: Oh for a 'stress ball' right about now!! :rolleyes:

These muppets are seriously starting to annoy me now!!! Makes you wonder if any of of the Beth' staff play these games or just sit on high counting the coins after they've pissed us off with stealth updates??

NMM *was* working fine for me with vanilla Firefox earlier, but after re-installing a couple of mods (like a propper berk I didnt follow the installation instructions for NMM did I LOL), it has stopped sending/receiving my login token so I am up a creak without a paddle <g> EDIT: Nexus stopped responding to me for a couple of hours yesterday evening, and then everything seemed to return to normal - as if somebody reset the site itself! Since then I've had no problems logging in :)
