  1. Hello, I'd like to submit a slow download report. It seems I'm far from the only one, looking here, and it's probably server traffic or something, but if this is helpful, here it is. Most downloads I'm seeing are in the 182 kb/s range, or they just refuse to download at all and sit at "1 KB/s" with no progress at all. No problem with small files, so I'm guessing the Cloudflare side is fine and the issue is on the Nexus side. Country: USA ISP: Comcast/Xfinity Download Tests: Paris: It says no, times outAmsterdam: 3.5 MB/sPrague: 3.5 MB/sLA: between 49 KB/s and 182 KB/s, average about 80, changes very frequentlyChicago: 3.7 MB/sMiami: 2-4 MB/s, also changes frequentlySingapore: 1-2 MB/s, changes frequently Download Links: Large File: https://supporter-files.nexus-cdn.com/110/607/COMPLETE%20LITE-607-1-7.zip?md5=0v6SChuF5QYAt2fsm0-zgA&expires=1590262591&user_id=11872658&rip=107.5.197.157Small File: https://cf-files.nexusmods.com/cdn/1704/1137/Ordinator%209.28.1-1137-9-28-1-1580147433.zip?md5=-7xuo4wwaUmi1UlDPR6IIA&expires=1590262527&user_id=11872658&rip=107.5.197.157 Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18363.836] (c) 2019 Microsoft Corporation. 2. I have a very, very hard time believing that anything at all will be compatible with the new one. It is good to hear it'll be 64 bit and dx11 (thankfully not dx12 yet, I'm not ready to be locked out of all my favorite games). I'm still likely going to wait until we have an SKSE and an ENB, and I dearly hope that it doesn't suffer from the same bugs FO4 does (LOD bugs galore, lighting glitches, aliasing, and generally very poor optimization), but I have hope that it'll be worthwhile if it's x64.
  3. I highly doubt it's going to be an improved engine, but I hope it is. I don't have high hopes to be honest, my experience with Fallout 4's graphics has generally led me to think it's a downgrade from Skyrim. I have a feeling there won't be any real improvement at all on PC and the only reason we're getting it at all is so we'll make mods for Bethesda to use as a selling point for the console version. Beth doesn't really seem to care all that much about their PC users lately, they're all console focused nowadays.
  4. I don't think Skyrim needs a remaster at all, and considering that it's likely to be an entirely separate game that isn't compatible with mods for the original, I doubt I'll be playing it for a good year or two after release (I'll be waiting for the mods to be ported, if they ever are). Honestly though, at least on PC I don't see any reason to "upgrade." It looks like all they did was put FO4's lighting effects in and make the HD texture DLC part of the base game. Considering my Skyrim doesn't use any of Beth's textures anyway at this point and Skyrim ENB does a much better job of handling visual effects than FO4's lighting engine does, I don't see why I shouldn't stick with the original. As far as I'm concerned, this is purely a bone tossed out for consoles so they can make more money. I highly doubt there was a ton of work involved in porting the old one to consoles with better lighting, so they did it in the hopes of making more money off them. I'm fairly certain the one and only reason it's even being released on PC is so we'll make mods for console players to use. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they fix any of the memory issues or make the game 64-bit. If they do, I'll happily eat half of these words and upgrade, but I'm not seeing it. EDIT: @LordNyron: On the Steam store, the remaster is listed as a separate game. I've never heard of any precedent for Steam taking away a game you own, so even if it's something like the Portal release where it just shows up in your library without a choice, you'll still be able to choose whether or not to install it and you can still play the old one. Heck, you can probably run both at the same time if you want.
  5. Filefront hosted many, many mods for Rome: Total War and later Medieval 2: Total War back in the day. Those games, and the mods for them that would be lost if FF/GF weren't archived, not only introduced me to modding but to PC gaming in general, and I can guarantee I would not be on the Nexus today without the Total War mod community. Filefront was an instrumental part of my youth, and I'm thrilled to see that Nexusmods will be saving its files from oblivion. Thank you.
  6. If you're looking for Better Shaped Weapons, it's here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39870/? Even if you aren't, take a look. I won't play Skyrim without that mod.
  7. For some reason starting today I was unable to open any tab for any mod's page besides the "description" tab. It was like the site just refused to load fully and it could only display the mod description. I found after restarting my computer that the only way to get pages to load all the way was to turn on AdBlock. I don't like using AdBlock on Nexus since you guys need money, but I can't use the site without it now. Is this related to the change in ad providers?
  8. This is excellent news. I have nexusmods excluded from my adblocker because I know you guys need the ad revenue to run, and I've experienced quite a few of these bad ads (though I didn't really realize that they should have been reported, I've reported maybe two of the hundreds I've seen). Thank you for showing such dedication to keeping the Nexus the best place to get mods.
  9. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/issue-56830-nmm-keeps-disabling-all-mods-in-fallout-4-ver-15157/ https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/issue-56890-nmm-not-saving-load-orderfo4-resetting-it/ You're not alone. The first issue linked has a bunch of other people's issues in it, the second has my personal testing and conclusions about what I think it likely is.
  10. Lol @ the quote up top. The mod community can do much more than change textures, and the list gets longer every day, GECK or no GECK. But I'm still happy to see the new GECK. Hopefully we can mod out parts of the new survival mode (like console commands are necessary in Beth games, they're all buggy, and I want to save when I want dang it).
  11. Hey man, thanks for the working link. Sorry I disappeared. I'm just happy that it looks good now.
  12. In response to post #35130310. #35130710, #35135545 are all replies on the same post. It seems F4SE needs to update for this update. The update is already up, so try downloading it and seeing it that fixes it. I haven't updated yet, and frankly don't want to.
  13. Same here, thanks for coming back to this. And no problem about the assets, I've moved my FO3 into Tale of Two Wastelands anyhow, so NV assets in FO3 isn't an issue anymore. I have some small GIMP skill myself. How does one remove the logos with GIMP tools? I know how I'd do it in Photoshop, but I didn't think GIMP could do it.
  14. I was just searching for sleeved dusters too, and lo and behold found a thread that's actually active! These look awesome man, great job! How difficult would it be to port these into FO3? Just because I'd love to wear that NCR duster or, even better, the one Sulligy posted, around the Capital too. EDIT: You wouldn't happen to have a file somewhere that doesn't have the logos merged into the coats, would you? I always found it a bit silly-looking for a duster to have a logo painted on the back, and personally I'd like to just ditch the logos for my personal playthrough.
  15. I get warmth from Cloaks, but not WIC. Additionally, a friend of mine has no problems. Somehow, this seems to vary from person to person.
