  1. how would you not?.

     

    after you have pasted over the 1st strip over the f3 table.

     

    move it into the collition marker.

     

    duplicate the strip you pasted & past another part over the duplicate.

     

    duplicate that one & past over with a new strip & keep doing it till you have all your table parts in.

     

     

     

    ppl wont knotice if you have a box collition on the table or just some flat panel colition. aslong as it fits the surface of the table & you can put things on it youl be cool :)

  2. Ok, so I have figured out how to hack together a single collision mesh for an object. The problem is... I can't seem to set one up correctly for a Nif file containing multiple nitristrips.

     

    I'm creating a glass table with a neon light between the glass, table-top and the base of the table so that the glass will be translucent and will have a slight blue glow. All of my glow maps and textures work correctly but the issue I found, was that when I combined all my meshes into a single static mesh so I could apply the custom collision mesh in Nifskope, I couldn't see the light or the base rendered beneath the glass itself in-game. So, I had to separate the base, the glass, and the light to get my lighting effect to work.

     

    How I set it up in Nifskope is I copied the tabletop nitristrip data into the ashtray nitristrip data. Then I copied the ashtray01:0 branch and pasted it into the same nif file in order to create a duplicate and re-named it to ashtray01:1. I then created and copied over the collision mesh data and removed any unwanted branches as usual. Sanatized, updated tangent spaces and saved my file.

     

     

    It looks good in-game and when I shoot at the mesh initially it will look fine but after I shoot it again and again... the game will crash!

     

     

    Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

     

    an easy thing to do woud be to take an vanilla fallout3 table. past your table over the fallot3's one. and then use the fallout3's table's colition.

  3. you eather want to learn modeling or puting a wepon you already have into fallout 3.

     

    1st, it depends what 3d program you got or want to get. then look on the programs website & you will get some tutorials that show you all sorts of stuff.

     

    once you got that i will send you a link that tells you how to get your wepon ingame :)

    there a lrg scale mod in the works that has a host of new creatures & npc's. if you intrested.

     

    2 heads bettr than one & if you want to show of your creatures in a mod that wll, if anything be bttr than the dlc's then give me a shout hear.

    and fallout3 is my favorite game and i want to ask if some one knows or tries to

    me too. i done a marathn of watching the compleate sgc1 & then atlantis in the space of 2months haha.

     

    now moved onto universe but it rubbish sofar.

     

    anyway back to modtalk. just so happens that i have everything needed for a stargate mod includeing atlantis buildings, consols, furniture.. all rigged & ready to go ingame.

     

    im currantly doing a largescale mod at te moment that isnt directly a stargate mod but dose use some of the assets in a way?.

     

    i was thinking of just ditching the sg stuff but if you get a team or you show me that you serious and have something concrete like a story and whatnot, then im give you everything you need to get going ;)

    been looking at some mods for ideas & some of them are brillant. there a lot of good stuff kicking about from alex pda to real time setteler.

     

    i got my work cut out to bring new stuff hear, but i think i got something ;)

  7. no bother at all.

     

    working away but i now have along with new creatures, cows, pigs ect i got about 30 vehicles all drivable & buildings & new working armour mech types.

     

    and alien npcs :D

     

    gona take a while but iv done about 4000 models in 3weeks so maby sooner than i think haha.

    dont know if the auther is still hear but you know more on this than i do so hear gos.

     

    what would i need to do to make a shadow that moves along the ground that looks like its comeing from a helicopter flying above it.

     

     

     

    if it helps. i can make light do it but not dark?.

    maby i will get it working by reverseing the light to darkness but im still in the early stages of this... any ideas :)

    im been busy. sofar i now have over 250 guns with about 40% not yet in this game in any form.

     

    im also working on a mod and have rigged over 1000 items from furniture to food and have a we bit it go, but i also got a very good modder onboard with me so expect something spectacular from the two of us. ;)

  10. Sorry its taken me so long I just finished a request for a new texture for the hunting rifle now I will take more projects and for the p90 request barrel or w.e I can do that with ez just send me what you got so I can modify it.

     

    aint got anything.

     

    im thought if you got the p90 there then you could look for a part and do the frnt.

     

    the ganz model outa skrees has a round barrow that could be chopped and then retextured and then applyed to the front of the p9o.

     

    i think that would fit and look good and not out of place.

     

    you need permition from skree for the chop thought.
