  3. didnt you post a screenshot showing an armory with like 50 weapons you got in game? o.O didnt you use nifskope for those?

     

    you told me that you only go into nifscope to check everything's ok & apply textures?

     

    when i do wepons i swap them in nifscope with vanillas.

     

    its other stuff like a building iv got that i want to have geometry & colition instead of being able to walk thru it. i copied my mesh in max & then applyed a rigedbody to it but as i said, theres nothing showing up in preview so im doing something wrong!.

  4. can someone tell me how to get a max mesh into the game without needing to go into nifscope.

     

    iv been told about the colision but whenever i bring something out i dont get a preview via geck.

  5. So how i place it under bsfadenode it goes automatically to new folder and i have tried it 2 hours. :wacko:

     

    right click on the bsfadenode & paste branch.

     

    look iv done it about 5 times & all have went in & not on there own :)

  6. Jackpack, you know whats happening im my geck when i finished creation of my gun by your tutorial:

    Everytime i open new wepon file i get error

    youv got branch's on there own & not in the main?.

     

    red is bad, green good. red is on its own where as everything else is in the bsfadenode.

    are the armour working?.

     

    how far are you, ill do all the porting "or the rest of it" & you can work on the armour to save time?

     

    also i know a way to get the veichles up & running so you got them too.

    dose anyone hear want a tutorial on porting?.

     

    there a lot of stuff you there & asong as you got a 3d program i can tell you how to pring a lot of stuff over to fallout3.

     

    the 1st rule thought, is you must join the forums of the "items you want & from where ever thay are" & ask permition from the origonal makers...

    im personaly going to use the armours & stuff "some custon textures" for my main faction in a mod so not untill its finished.

     

    maywire seems to be doing this too so depending on what he has in mind ill help him out "if he wants".

     

    it could be a race between me & him to get this stuff out there haha, but i think ill give him this one ;). im got another couple of things going & dont want to limit myself to indavidual releases.

    a brillant mod.

     

    back a while i was thinking about the same. cleaning up megaton & adding houses & there was a story quest where you go & help 2 young boys from something & you get a load of caps for it.

     

    the 2 boys were liveing along in the wastes & are good at almost everything from engeneiring to building to wepons.

     

    in the end you get the major of megaton & take the 2 boys to stay with you "fallowers" & you upgrand megaton.

  13. keep it all in the geck by nameing them "00amanda" & the next npc "01john"

     

    the good thing about this is, all your notes will be at the top of the list & you wont need to search for the ones youv named john doe! ect ect.

     

    same for terminals, "0t farm" or whatnot.

  14. theres some waterfall parts in the geck so you could do it.

     

    asfor ppl & size?. it just depends on how motivated you are obviously the more ppl the better. i needed a garage for my mod & i had it finished in 1 day, so i guess once you know what your doing in the geck you can make your layout quite soon.

     

    the rest of the stuff is the hardest by makeing the terminals, npc's ect ect.

    i need the thing from stargate when it opens, lol the scripting will be: object forward, object expand, object backwards, object dissapeir.

    get a script tutorial or mess about in a testcell with some scripts & objects and id bet by this time next week youl be scripting allsorts of stuff :D

  16. pipboy light only, that would work.

     

    you could have the tripin effects from point lookout by makeing the player inhale toxic gas or something & you become stoned or something & then like normal fallout where you see the ghosts of your dad, have about 5 ghosts of gouls fly towards you one afterthe other & then a real one.
