I think I installed direct X, and I didn't know there was a 32/64 bit version. All I know is that wine is the only thing besides crossover that can play windows games on Linux. Sorry i'm thinking of programs that have 32/64 bit, Oblivion doesn't. How did you install DirectX? Usually Winetricks fails to install it correctly, at least it did for me. I just installed it through winetricks, and I am just wondering if it is just because of my Intel. It might be since I got a older computer with a AMD I think and it runs oblivion no problem.

I have read everything on the oblivion wiki, winehq, and random sites all over. Every time I try and leave the sewers on the lowest graphics possible, the game crashes and says "internal errors - invalid parameters" in a little box. I am running on a toshiba satellite L305 with Ubuntu 10.10.

Can you make a crate or chest belong to a creature on the morrowind cs? I already know how to make them sell items and such, but would like to know if it is possible or not before I go too much farther. P.S. If it requires a script, then please post it since I don't know how to yet.

None, just the overhaul its self. I was hoping someone would know how to find a way to increase the fps, it is truly terrible, especially with those drops. And I also don't know how to get to Nehrim through the CS either. I turned off Memory Preload, HDD Using and Background Loading and I copied and pasted Oblivion Stutter Remover from my Oblivion Install and that seemed to do the trick. I downloaded Nehrim, but even at ridiculously low settings, it is way laggy. I can barely do combat in just a room in the beginner dungeon. It looks like a lot of fun and I would hate to have to uninstall it just because it is almost unplayable. Also, if I am having issues just trying to go through just like 3 rooms, what will it be like out in the open...... If anyone can, please help.

Ok.... having a lot of trouble installing pyffi for the X blender program, the nif scripts were tricky, but was able to install them without much hassle.

So I need to go find the zipped folders of the programs I am missing and just figure out what goes where.... lol at least I got something to do tonight.

I did, but I couldn't personally find anything on x blender, the portable version. I tried installing nif scripts, but it said it couldn't find blender.

How do you install pyffi and nif scripts on x blender? It comes bundled with Python 2.6.2.

Did you do the export as gambro and select it as a morrowind item(can only see if you make the screen that your trying to export with is full screen), and if you did and it says something about aligning stuff, go to the window with your object and just press ctrl+A and it SHOULD have an option open up to auto set it to morrowind standards. If anyone else knows the Exact step to step, go ahead and summarize what I said, XP I think I just confused myself.

Is it possible for mounts to have a separate category from the animal and creatures since the ratio between the two are huge.

I am a little disturbed on how the number of mods from greatest to smallest in the Animal, Creature, Mount\Horse go: mounted re-textured and BARLEY any custom creature mods(like Lore Creatures Expanded,Fish,Alligators, I think VAcuitys Spirits and Ephemerals, and probably one or so more I probably didn't mention) Almost all of the creature section is nothing but mounts. And I downloaded the Lore Creatures Expanded, but it drastically dropped my FPS so bad that I couldn't really attack. P.S. I mean nothing against the makers of mount mods or ones that re textured creatures, it is just that I was hoping that someone would actually make more different looking monsters texture and mesh wise.

Omg, it was the first xbox game I ever owned!! I was going around balamora taking stuff, eyeballing the guards, it was wonderful. What got me was the music really, it has a slow relaxing theme, then a fast energetic one in combat. It was a no brainier to get it for computer whenever I could. Lol I still remember what my character was: Race: Nord Class: Juggernaut Guilds/position: Mages/head Fighters/very low Televani/ head

This is exactly why I don't enjoy games like Crysis. They design them so they can only be run by super-computers from outer space because the graphics are that detailed but then the game and story. MGS4 had average gameplay and excellent graphics. I enjoyed it though, the cutscenes were that long and the graphics so polished off it felt like I was playing a movie, but if the story line wasn't so enthralling I wouldn't have given a second glance. I play a game like Dungeon Keeper 2 and I can put the bad graphics aside because it's so damn fun to play. Graphics improve a game, they don't make a game. lol, that is true. Daggerfall has some........ poor graphics though, but the game has almost 10X the space of morrowind and oblivion combined in my opinion. The game is a little lopsided, but than again, it has to be. Other than going out into the wilderness, it is real simple to go out and find stuff. The ONLY thing I wish they did better was finding dungeons, you can find them by doing quests, but omg!!!! I remember this one mages guild in a southern spot: "I need you to go and kill a mummy for its wrappings."MGman "Sure." me Go to where he told me to go and ran into harpies........ I was level 2, elven weapon...... need I go on? Even though I died, I still had fun and learned something, never fight harpies without the proper weaponry.

I have in my possession some small hard drives and I was wondering, what are the signs that they are no longer working. Right now, they are not being read at all and I would like to know if it is possible to get them working.

I need basically a battlefield looking set of skeletons. Some possibly sitting in chairs, pieces, some missing pieces. I am making a special type of dungeon that asks for this and it would really add to the atmosphere to the area.
