Well, like I said, my grandfather(80+yrs old) wants to start fiddling with that kind of stuff again, but we have little to no money. But I can get parts here and there that I can make a computer almost(shoot I got a tandy100sx without the disk still works) and I got an extra cp that has a newer windows(specs are laughable with barley 13 gig hard) so why not have him try working with his head again? But he is picky and wants to just do, like I said, just the original basic stuff that began it all.

Personally, I loved Daggerfall a little more than morrowind, and way more than oblivion for one simple reason: There are over 10 different areas the same size, if not, bigger than morrowind. The only down side is that it is a pain to find a dungeon. XP

I can not find ANYWHERE how to write ORIGINAL computer basic and how to open up a window to it. My grandfather use to be a low grade programmer and I was hoping to learn how to open up a window to let him make some programs for fun. And by original, I mean the 0110010101010100001 stuff, not the : "begin program_haha". If anyone knows how to open some sort of window or a download, I would appreciate it. P.S. My grandfather wants this style only, no javascript, c++, nothing but the original programming style.

I am right now making my own mod and was thinking about the Phantom of the Opera when a thought rose, what if I could make a quest with a masked person. I also noticed that there is ALMOST NO masks on the site. The only ones where beast masks( gave your character the face of an Argonian or Khajiit), DagUrth mask(please don't kill me if I misspelled it), and a project that added the masks of the gods in tribunal and that. As you can tell, it is actually basically empty in the mask department and it would look kinda awkward for a mysterious stranger to have a huge golden mask running around. And it would be nice to wear just a mask that looks awesome. p.s. I know morrowind is out-of-date, but the fact is: oblivion runs 10x slower on my computer and some of the mods make it worse(not all) morrowind isn't so limited on certain things when constructing your own house

Well, I would just uninstall the program, start a new game and save, and then reinstall the program.

Somehow the alignment of the helmet got thrown off. I don't remember, but I think that was one of the bugs of the game.

Are you saying you got the files and that and don't know where to put them, or that you got the files and that you don't know what they are named? You are kinda confusing me, and I am the one people get confused over.

It may help if you list the mods your using, someone may have an answer then.

Did you just turn off all your Internet windows and go to the same download page and try again? This happened to me once too.

You may need to say what kind of computer you have, basically the specs if you want to solve your problem. I had the same problem on my old laptop, which was one of the first vista gateways, and I did every little thing out there almost and nothing worked. and the graphics card was good and everything.

Are the races compatible, you may need to go check. Personally, I never heard of some of them. Also, sometimes it says unresponsive when really, it is actually still working. My construction set on my second laptop always says that when just loading normal oblivion @_@. So, yah.. sorry if this doesn't help, but I thought you deserved some sort of answer.

Well, I was thinking of having one look like greed with the exoskeleton only to make it easier on computers with low graphics, have one sorta like a wilo wisp\ghost(basically have a humanoid shape surrounded by the particles of the wisp and have the fade in and out of it. A weight lifter looking one with like random pieces of leather armor and that. And some others, but I was hoping to make one like greed since he is my favorite of the group.

I was hoping to be able to try and make a mod like this, but I have no time or the resources (slow computer) to make this vision. I was hoping to make homunculus mini bosses in the ruins of oblivion and morrowind based on the Full Metal Alchemist series with the same level of difficulty as they are in the show and as powerful. And, if possible, make them a race in case someone wanted to play as one. :P Sorry if this is vague but I am usually a strait to the point type of person. Details: Homunculus: an artificially created human being without an actual soul, created from the souls of others and consumes them to keep from dying. Able to spontaneously regenerate to the point of being gods, but uses up the power of the souls they consume in the process. These creatures that look like ordinary people have, like their healing ability, god like abilities linked to a certain key element of their body. Their only flaw, other than needing to consume souls from lacking one, is that they can not use the very magic that created them. examples of these on the show are(sorry to those fans of FMA, but I am using the ones from the show. If you want, go ahead and list the ones from the manga.): Greed:by harnessing the carbon of his body, is able to make an exo skeleton covering his body as hard as diamond Lust: Quick and agile, able to cut down anything with nail like claws able to cut through most anything. Gluttony: Able to consume ANY material and never stop Envy: Shape-shifter Wrath: Just ordinary super strength Pride: Extremely high speed and reflexes Sloth: Can turn into a water-like substance and maintain control even when in other liquids. Using a vista(go figure) and for some reason, everytime I go ingame and change a video setting and try and leave the menue BOOM it crashes and doesn't save the settings I wanted. Would like help if no one minds.

Besides the one thing I said about people unappreciating old games(witch I am still unable to play super mario without dying 30 times on lvl 2-3) is how too many games are almost pure kill and no story type games now. I remember when halo came out with a nice story line that was worth the torcher of seeing the same area over and over again, but after 2 and 3 they came out with odst, tactics, and now reach. WHY THE OVER SELLING!!! the story mode is to me, personaly, dying out and the mindless violence is taking over. Another example is morrowind and oblivion, morrowind had a complicated, long story line that took me a week to beat after having a help guide in a spot or two while it took someone I know just one day to beat oblivion!! The game makers are now just obsesed with graphics now and are sacrificing the gameplay and story. I admit that there are stuff I love about oblivion and things I hate about morrowind, but still, I am actually doing more stuff with morrowind just because it is a lot more free and interesting compared to oblivion, modding and playing the games.

Ashes of Apocalypse is a game made by modders and I am trying to find out if there are any mods for it. If so, can someone make some links?

It kinda ticks me off when people say " I don't play games with bad graphics" and don't even consider the actual game! Like morrowind or daggerfall, I keep seeing people bellyache and moan about how ugly the graphics are and claim that it is unplayable. I went from oblivion to daggerfall without any complaints about the graphics, in fact, I think they are not so bad, at least you can see a person standing there. I bet other games are being treated like this as well.

Are there any mod/s that basically turn morrowind or oblivion into a game like fallout WITHOUT a conversion program? I just want to know since I wouldn't mind trying them out.

Morrowind does All of this on it's own without mods....wait 24 hours man..... ?? I have been playing the game a while and the same vender has the same weapon that I sold to them since the beginning of my game, Oblivion is the one that restores the stock of the shop.

Which one? The page with the nif scripts that I saw had like 20 or so different ones.

I have downloaded and installed ALL the components needed I think, but I'm not sure I did it right. The programs I downloaded and installed are: Blender 2.49b python 2.7 PyFFI-2.1.5.cb92090 blender_nif_scripts-2.5.5.90a8d2f Please, anyone who know anything about this, are these the right programs(python2.6 isn't on the download page for python anymore and the 4th item on the list doesn't read python 2.7 as an upgraded version)
