  1. There seriously needs to be separate Nexus pages for Dark Souls 2 - Scholar of the First Sin & for the original Dark Souls 2. Just like there is for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition & Dark Souls: Remastered. the original DS2 game's textures do not work with SotFS and vice/versa and it leads to multiple complaints and requests for help on almost every mod's "posts" section for either version of the game. when searching for mods for either version a lot of the time there is no determination which one it is designed for so if the author doesn't actually distinguish which version in their description, it takes the Nexus member's own searching through posts or trial and error inside of the game to find out if it may be compatible with their version of the game. Please make it easier on every member searching for Dark Souls 2 mods and create a separate page for Scholar of the First Sin content.
  2. In response to post #27772820. #27773245, #27785260, #27787150, #27827605, #27828245, #27828875, #27833980, #27837490, #27840175, #27841035, #27848505, #27850734, #27856114, #27933514, #27939239, #27964909 are all replies on the same post. being in my 30s and knowing about 80 gamers from work and around town i can attest that not even 10% are females. and the few that enjoy them are not your typical female. whether the future may change that or not has nothing to do with the comment or the facts presented by this site about the present.
  3. this was really pissin me off for the last week+. tried installing all the standalones for .Net, tried enabling everything .Net oriented in Windows features, tried multiple install\reinstalls of NMM versions. eventually installed MO to do NMM's job but Skyrim would not remember the installed mods, had to run MO 1st and launch from there every time. kept suspecting it was the 10TP causing this issue after reinstalling vanilla Skyrim and a default NMM and still no go. nice to have wasted 5-6 hours going back and forth. Nexus should have tested and reported the incompatibility by now. thank you someone tried the XP\Legacy version and was helpful enough to post this simple solution. works great now.
  4. as i stated: account has full ownership and permissions. so yes, it has admin rights. UAC always off. tried installing to different drive, same result.
  5. user account has complete ownership of all folders on C: drive and permissions all allowed. no antivirus running. not likely security. downloaded latest version from here yesterday. had tried uninstall > cleaning out > reinstall a couple times.
  6. had the same problem last 2 days. uninstalled 12.2 VISION Control Center and display drivers. reinstalled from 12.1 package. problem gone.
