  1. I don't think that's true, actually. The power nodes definitely do not require a free action to deactivate, only an adjacent soldier that you must reselect in order to deactivate. Also you cannot do this with your last active soldier, since your turn will end as soon as that soldier expends his moves, pre-empting your opportunity to reselect. I can't verify that this is also true for the bomb itself, but I'm fairly certain that this is the case. You just need to be right next to it and click it. If you are stationed diagonally to it, you cant disarm it. Must stand right beside it.
  2. Yes. In original promotion also depended on how many soldiers you had. You never had 6 colonels, for example.
  3. Recent Fallouts are only shadows compared to 1 and 2. Everybody knows, Fallout 2 had some of the most epic dialogue and story ever made.
  4. Well I might as well rant here a bit, what I miss from the past and wish Skyrim had. In Morrowind, every NPC had a class. Be it merchant, fisherman, beggar or pilgrim, they had a class. And every class had abilities. I also believe those NPC had stats, didn't delve to 'em tho. Those classes and abilities dictated what items, spells and skills those NPC used. One particular thing I miss, related to above, is how I was able to outfit those NPC. I sold 'em a full chitin armor, they would wear it. I'd sell 'em the Masque of Clavicus Vile, they would wear it and I would laugh my ass off pointing at 'em. I really miss that, made the NPC more unique. Not to mention their combat prowess was improved, too. Another thing; in Skyrim we can upgrade our armor and weapons. Why can't the NPC do that? They cycle with grindstones and hammer away at workbenches, they might as well do something to their gear or to items they have for sale. Or, could the leveled lists have some pre-upped items from time to time? Or is there already a mod that solves something like this? I also wish there were more cannibals in Skyrim. Maybe some primitive dunmer refugees holed up on the eastern side of the map? With their unique chitin/bone equipment with some twisted daedra worship? I so miss being yelled "You N'wah!" at. /endrant

  6. I'm yet to try it, will in the next char though, but I think Skyrim Redone at the least is a step to right direction. Scaling module in that oughta ensure enemies you face are near your level. Link Also, opt to play without upgrading weapons via blacksmithing. Thats the edge which makes a pickaxe compare to daedric s***.
  7. http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/500916-turn-sylgja-or-almost-any-npc-into-a-follower/page__p__4092197__hl__sylgja__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=4092197 Thanks, gonna try it out tonight. :)
  8. So suppose I was able to add some NPC to the marriable, followable faction and then to get married. The getlevel command tells the current level of the NPC in question, would this marrying and changing to a follower let some NPC to advance levels with me? I'm primarily thinking of Vex, as the looks are appealing and I'm hoping it can develop with me. If not, is there a command to change a NPC's max level? Cheers.
