  1. You could also look up Mihails Mods profile. There you will find all the mods he has converted to Skyrim SSE. Will save you the extra work converting mods.
  2. I have some follower mods that have old rim form 43 esp`s. Using the Cathedral assets optimizer tool I converted the mods assets as required. l then ran Creation kit and selected a plug in and let it load up in creation kit. The usual errors popped up. Hit save and Creation kit crashed. This happened to all theses mods twelve in all .Off to SSEEdit we go. Some had errors that where fixed through following guides etc. Some had no errors that SSEEdit could find. So I had twelve squeaky clean mods with no reported errors in SSEEdit. Back to Creation kit and the same issue. Can not save the esp`s. Some of the mods are asian in origin and the esp `s contain some mangled assian text. Text that originated as Korean or what ever but got screwed up when read on a English language computer. Just wondering if this could be a issue? Two are on Nexus so are ok on old sky rim but won`t convert to form 44 esp. I am not desperate to have these mods in my game, but just a tad curious as to why they won`t convert and would like to know why and how to resolve the problems.
  3. Thanks again for your reply.I have followed a guide to build a simple farm house, so know some of the creation kit, not a lot but some stuff. Getting the feel of moving objects around in the object window takes a bit of time.
  4. Thanks for the reply. No starting with the shallow end of the modding pool for me. Straight of the high dive into the deep end. Would like to learn about this stuff though. Of to find some walls etc.
  5. I have a building that I can load up in creation kit. It is though a exterior only building. When you zoom into the building there is nothing. Is there a way to create the interior walls for the building?
  6. Ok what i would like to know folks. I like using SSEEdit as it is easy to see what is going on. Can you change a temporary place object to a persistent object in SSEEdit ? If so it also would be good to know how. Thanks
  7. Yeah test fountain worked. So all I need to do now is repeat the process . A simple mod by any measure, but will be the first that I have done that will be used by others. Have done a couple of followers that where only for my use and played around with buildings.
  8. Thanks yet again for replying. Got to the use info window and at that window it gave a grid reference, which I thought was as far as you went. I have now through your concise and invaluable help have found the coordinates . Have hopefully got a test fountain set up.
  9. Did some muddling about with this patch today. Well it looks like I am going to have to get out my virtual compass and visit the location of each fountain to get the proper xx,y,z coordinates. Mod is a custom world and only gives a grid reference. Which in some instances I have found to be not to close.
  10. Thanks again for the info. Will be looking at this patch again soon.
  11. Thanks for the reply. Fun part is locating the position of the drinking fountains and there coordinates in the mod to be patched. That is some challenge.
  12. This will be most likely a noob question. But we all start at the beginning at some point. I want to make drinking fountains of sky rim work in another world space mod. So if it is a patch what sort of patch is it? Won`t be a merged patch or a conflict resolution patch. Once I know what the patch/mod is called I can then start looking at how to create the new patch/mod
  13. Thanks for the reply. I will be having a good look at those mods.
  14. I have been looking around for any mods similar to corners of sky rim. Corners of sky rim is in it`s self a good mod as it ads content to the game. But has not been converted to sky rim se and also has not had any up dates since 2013, There is a few ,as far as I can tell ,nav mesh issues with it and my personal conversion has some issues. Hence why I am looking for a similar mod that is all new and ok with sky rim se.
  15. Apparently this was a issue when Skyrim SE was first released and when the game was heavily modded. But was supposed to have been fixed with the mod Skyrim engine fixes. Not now though as I have skyrim engine fixes installed and I am still getting corrupt saves that only load from a full restart of the game. But what is new in my game is pseudo ESl plug ins that have been created with SSEEdiit. These are just a esp that has been flagged as a ESL so they use ESL space. So is any one else having issues with there saves and possibly pseudo ESL`s ? If so have they found a answer ?
  16. So I have got along way through a game, finally completed the main quest. Now I learn about ESl plugins. So with these plug ins I am able to exceed the plug in limit. Will be some work though, easy enough to do as it seems but will take some time. These plugins are ideal for simple follower mods with not to many records and no other dependent masters or mods like Mihail monsters and animals. One catch is you can not convert mods that are in use, or at least it has been strongly advised not to as it may corrupt your game. So the choice is do a continue with the game as it is or do I spend some time converting mods to the Esl plug in and starting a new game. Which would allow a lot more management of mods, up dates could be a issue as the new esp plug in would have to be converted. I have quite a number of merged mods some merges have worked well others have not. This will mostly eliminated these problems. Such a tough choice.
  17. The most expensive item that I brought for my pc was the graphic card. I went with a Sapphire Rx 570 8gb. The are cheap enough to buy and handle a well modded Skyrim Se no problems , all though I do not have any 4k texture mods. The rest is fairly a basic AMD set up. I did though spoil my self and have a water cooled cpu and north bridge. AMD is for what ever reason a fair bit cheaper that N vidia and Intel. Yet as I have already noted AMD will handle Skyrim SE with ease. If you are getting a computer get one with a M2 on board interface for solid state hard drives. These bad boys can deliver transfer speeds at 20gb per second. I believe that having a M2 SSD and a fairly decent graphic card is why I have virtually no loading time in game.
  18. I got the old Skyrim in 2013 and never got any further than the start of Sovngarde. Mainly due to old Skyrim not liking my habit of trying every mod that come along. All that uninstalling mid game not so good. SkyrimSE and a couple of false start I decided to rein in my desire to continue to try every mod that looked good. Got a mod list that produced a game that played as I liked. So thanks to SkyrimSE being rock solid have finally finished the main quest, has only taken five years and oh so many restarts. Hmm I wonder how many who got Skyrim either from it`s release or soon after have yet to complete the main quest after all these years ?
  19. I have some immersive mods. One being private needs. Can be a pain when heading into a fight with a dragon and then you need to make your character comfortable again. Any way one time my character was quietly doing the necessary and then the poop sound. At this moment Esbern turned and said yes Dragon born how can I help or word to that effect. So I guess my character does talk a load of s#*! after all. As posted some of the banter between followers etc is amazing at times.
  20. I have merged a whole lot of followers as well. For ease of trouble shooting and updating I kept the merges to twenty or thirty followers at a time. At the moment i have seven companion follower merges of which with this play through I am using four of them. I like the inns and taverns filled up more and with follower companion mods you get variety in the npc`s.
  21. So I had some time a go through the creation kit tidied up the English in the world of Rudra by bee999. This I assumed by only one negative comment was not so successful . So this time I did much the same but using SSEEdit. This for me has worked fine. The issue is though through using SSEEdit I get a lot less dialogue. So there must be a fair bit of dialogue fragments that are not properly sorted in the mod. Yet in the game some of the missing dialogue shows up. Also there is a side quest that should start but won`t move past the first line of dialogue. So is there a idiots guide to sorting out dialogue. I have noticed that the creation kit follows a quest style dialogue tree system. But it is all a bit confusing.
  22. Where are your downloaded mods? You can have those on another dive, I also have a small main drive. 250 gb I keep my downloads on another drive. I also try to keep my mod list to those that I am actually using and not have a lot of inactive mods loitering around. This works well if you have merged mods. To free up space you could also have your windows download folder and documents linked to another drive.
  23. This is one that I like and use. Not overly big, but a nice layout. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3992 I also have this one. Bigger and a large crafting area out side a very nice lay out. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3989
  24. He gets 10 fps and is complaining ? Luck bugger I say. Your GPU is a bit lacking in performance and capacity. If that it is a standard 4g GTX970. I have also a older GPU a R9390 8g which even with 8g of ram still struggles to handle much the same textures as you have installed. But I also have Whiterun Forest Borealis installed, So maybe you may need to some time in the future look at upgrading your card?
  25. All sorted. It was the windows up date. After a google search i found on the Step forum the answer. Turn the game bar off. So simple, yet so annoying.
