  1. I would really like to see a mod which enables you to mod/craft more than 1 item at a time. This should have been in the game from the start using a simple sliding selector. For example I want to turn as much dirty water into purified water as I can in one go instead of multiple times. I would also like to be able to take a pipe pistol and mod it to how I want it and then clone that pipe pistol as much as I want using materials. Obviously this should have a limit from the amount of resources you have available.
  2. The Heckler & Koch P90c was just coming into use at the time of the war. The weapon's bullpup layout, and compact design, make it easy to control. The durable P90c is prized for its reliability, and high firepower in a ruggedly-compact package. — Fallout 2 In-game description The H&K P90c is a heavy-duty Submachine gun (SMG) chambered in the cheap, plentiful and powerful 10mm caliber. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal P90c was just coming into use at the time of the war. The P90c is a selective fire, straight blowback-operated weapon with a very high cyclic rate and an unorthodox design intended to make it as ergonomic and ambidextrous as possible. The weapon is grasped by means of a thumbhole in the frame that acts as a pistol grip, as well as an oversized trigger guard that acts as a foregrip for the shooter's support hand. To maximize maneuverability and minimize size, the weapon is built in a bullpup configuration, with the magazine mounted horizontally parallel to the barrel on top of the weapon's frame. The FN P90C is a small gun in Fallout Tactics which uses the Southwest Commonwealth preferred 9mm ammunition. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The real-world FN P90 is produced by FN, and doesn't have a 'c' designation in the line. They're also chambered for the FN 5.7x28mm armor-piercing round instead of 9mm or 10mm rounds.
  3. Thank you so much prensa I should have mentioned that I'm using NV Geck, don't know why they got rid of cells like WarehouseRobots. Your information has been extremely helpful. So much has changed in NV, it's a steeper learning curve than F3.
  4. Is there any other links for a protectron in a pod tutorial? Facepunch doesn't want to work for me.
  5. Hi there, hoping that someone might be able to help me with my problem or simply tell me it's not possible to do with 1 terminal. Basically; I have 1 terminal in an entrance area. I would like to be able to use this terminal to; Manage room lights (hoping to use FXElectricArc as lights placed on OffRmLightBlink, and FXElectricArc in a ElectricBox1HulkStatic01) Activate a protectron (in pod) Protectron to be a metro variant including check ticket (need help with this as well) Terminal to dispense metro tickets (1 per activation) Unlock/lock an adjacent safe Unlock/lock an access door to the rest of the area Manage internal security system - Activate/deactivate (Staff identification pass in safe to make nom hostile) (also how to link turrets together?) Thanks in advance to anyone that helps - even slightly.
  6. Perhaps you should read this Siggalit, 6 July 2012 20:09:47 New Site Index - Day 3 If you haven’t already I’d recommend you go to your preferences where you will find options to manipulate your feeds a bit more to your liking, and change your default feed preference. Don’t care about the activity feeds? That’s fine, change your default feed to Site News, Latest Files or Latest Images, depending on what you come here for, and you’ll get that every time you land on the site.
  7. Agreed. This is how this thread should be. Instead of slagging people off and just spewing your all going to die and fail. At last some constructive comments which are valid, reasonable and makes sense. I can't find anything wrong with what you've posted, clearly you have sense. Your absoultly right about yachts and I would add siling ships. This is how mankind traversed the globe for thousands of years and enabled large groups to travel together. GB colonised the Americas with people, supplys and equipment quite effectively without the capability of steam, fueled or electric transportation. The only powered transportation they had was mamals.
  8. Very well said, couldn't agree more. It is true that the less threat an area is the less likely it would be attacked which would mostly consist of sparsely populated areas and areas which are considered behind the rest of the world. I can't see why they would waste an entire nuke on an island in the middle of the ocean with a population of 3000 or even less. And these community's would most likle carry on as normal as if nothing had happened. I also can't see why they would waste so many nukes to try to hit every airfield in the target countries, there are simply too many of them, they would most likely go for blanket coverage and that would leave areas affected differently depending how close they are to the detonation zone. In other words if your in an area which is on the outskirts of the blast radius's then you would likely receive little impact compared to a few miles from detonation. The only way they would be able to counteract this would be in waves of nukes blanketing the same areas with different detonation zones but for each separate wave would require as many nukes as the first wave. This would be very impracticable and would require more nukes for 1 country than is known to be available to any country, this would require co-operation from other countries just to take out 1 country, with this scenario you would end up with entire countries untouched purely due to running out of nukes. So to simply put, in the less threatening area you live in the better chances you have of survival.
  9. If by for ever you mean... 6-12 months? In most of the USA over here it's higher than 25°c for much of the year. So like I said, after a year petroleum fuel will not be a useable form of fuel. Not to mention the engine rebuilds you are going to have to do from equipment sitting unused with fuel in it. Sure, you can make biodiesel, but most people don't have those skills, not to mention the additional mechanical ability to repair and adapt equipment so it can use said biodiesel. In other words, like I was saying, films like Mad Max wouldn't have made much sense. It's obvious you don't know much about storage, if you keep thinking of a small fuel tank on a car then it's ambient temperature would soon rise to external temperatures, but if you take a 20,000 gallon storage container submerged into the ground it would never have enough time to reach an ambient temperature of 30C as temperatures fluctuate a lot throughout a 24hour cycle, yes you may reach over 30C in the day time but temperatures also drop at nighttime. Nevada is the driest state in the US. It is made up of mostly desert and semiarid climate regions, daytime summer temperatures sometimes may rise as high as 125 °F (52 °C) and nighttime winter temperatures may reach as low as −50 °F (−46 °C). Nevada's 125 °F (52 °C) reading is the third highest temperature recorded in the U.S. just behind Arizona's 128 °F (53 °C) reading and California's 134 °F (57 °C). Second of all it wouldn't take much to drain systems for long term storage so that there wouldn't be fuel sitting in them. DUH, I think I will just leave my Jeep with a full tank of fuel sitting in it whilst I trek across the world. Think about it - if you survive your going to drive straight out of town into the middle of nowhere and then what? leave your transportation to seize up or someone to come along with fuel and take it or are you going to drain the systems into suitable storage containers and take the battery? Biodiesel is meant to be used in standard diesel engines and is thus distinct from the vegetable and waste oils used to fuel converted diesel engines. Biodiesel can be used alone, or blended with petrodiesel. Biodiesel requires little skill or equipment, what it does take is time and a smell most people can't live with. Equipment required 45 gallon drum. 1/2 or 3/4 Hp electric motor. Two pulleys which produce 250 rpm and a max of 750 rpm at mixer blade. A belt for the above. 12 inch rolled steel rod. Two steel shelf brackets (for the blade). 1 1/2 inch (38mm) brass ball valve. A hinge and a spring to act as a belt tensioned. 2000-watt electric water heater element. A water heater thermostat. 1 1/2 diameter piece of steel pipe * 3-5 inches long with male threads on one end. Power sourceLeftover Glycerine can be made into soap. There are many recipes for making biodiesel. Biodiesel is already available to buy commercially Also if your interested check out Lazy guide to make Biodiesel In other words like I was saying, stop saying I'm wrong without even providing an once of evidence to prove I'm wrong. Also I have been going on about Diesel fuel (Petrodiesel) not Petrol fuel.
  10. Your talking about the fuel in a vehicles storage tank which are pretty pathetic anyway but manage the job. Diesel doesn't go off like petrol - its vapour pressure is much lower, so the volatiles don't evaporate. If unlucky you might get bacterial sludge in it, but otherwise it should keep pretty well for ever. Under normal storage conditions diesel fuel can be expected to stay in a usable condition for: 12 months or longer at an ambient of 20ºC. 6-12 months at an ambient temperature higher than 30ºC. BP documentation. Also your forgetting that Bio-Diesel is quite easy to produce on a small scale. This is only a small tank, where I work our backup generators have above ground tanks bigger than 2 HGV. http://www.tankservices.co.uk/oil-fuel-tanks/fuel-tank0161809001220904822.jpg Actual Capacity: 10100 Litres Nominal Capacity: 9595 Litres Harlequin 10000BFS/A Bunded BioFuel Station - from £8,690.00 (£10,428.00 inc VAT)
  11. Hahaha Your signature is creepy man, just thought I should say.

    How does it do that?

  12. Why would you mention his grammar when he said that is not his main language? It is also a terrible idea to attack someones grammar when you type in all caps and use "Im" and "r." It's called sarcasm. And language is not the same as grammar, grammar is in every language. Dictionary definition; in linguistics, grammar is the set of structural rules that govern the composition of clauses, phrases, and words in any given natural language. How is that sarcasm when you had similar grammar in your other posts? If you English is not your main language, you obviously won't have good grammar in English. I use all caps intentionally to raise awareness of that specific word/line. What other grammatical corrections can you make? English isn't even my first language. Grammar is the same in every language not just English, grammar is the construction and layout of sentencing. When you take two words and using grammar to turn them into one word and don't use the correct grammar for the new word it doesn't matter what language it's in. you know how to turn two words into one but not grammar isn't possible as you use grammar to change those words. If your grammar is poor then you wouldn't know how to change those words in the first place. Also you could use an online translator so that you could construct your post in your first language and then translate it into another language. Edit: My grammar isn't 100% perfect but I try my best, also your grammar isn’t perfect.

  14. GOD THIS IS SO POINTLESS!!! listen I am sick of saying this over and over, you obviously r to stupid to understand even BASIC ENGLITSH and Im getting sick of your dumb posts so I'm blocking u once and for all GOODBYE DUMB ASS! DONT BOTHER EMAILING ME CUZ I WONT GET IT, WELCOME TO IGNORESVILLE POPULATION: YOU, HOPE U LIKE TALKING TO A BLOCK LIST I firmly believe what I wrote is correct, I'm absolutely fed up with your idiocy and simply cannot bear to read another word of your text, and if I somehow accidentally receive another communication from you, my head will explode and shower the surrounding tri-metro area with fragments of my brain atoms.
  15. You have fictionalised ideas and flawed logic. Take my whole plane idea for instance. Since we are assuming this is a worse case scenario(sp) nuclear attack it would help you evacuate to a safe location as everywhere wouldn't be covered with the same amount of fallout more or less certain areas would have a high dose of fallout and a lot of areas very little, who's going to bother nuking a desert?. Now obviously an airplane has its other uses but in my scenario it's not complete anarchy, in some respects yes (absence of government, a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority) and I never said it was. Who said everyone would be trying to kill everyone, some groups would (raiders and gangs) but that happens all the time in the real world, it is the few people that would kill you to take what you have got that you would need to worry about, you should try going to Africa. So those uses go away pretty quickly? I wouldn't have thought so as no matter what happens you would need an escape route, secondly you would be able to use an aircraft to travel to a safer area which has not suffered severe fallout, fallout works a bit like snow (doesn't melt) it falls to the ground in pretty much the same pattern and builds up on the ground in the same way, it will stack up against the side of a building that the winds have blown it into (this is basic physics) which would lead to an unexposed area being fallout free. Now if it works that simply with a wall what do you think a mountain range (which even works as a blast barrier) would do? you have stated ground bursts which minimises the spread of fallout and as you have said in you are in the mountains you would have a greater chance of survival a valley would survive the initial blast but collect fallout, with an aircraft you would be able to travel beyond these areas into what would most likely a pretty untouched area, are you saying that wouldn’t be useful. Who said anything about teaching degrees? And from what you have posted you don't understand how an EMP works, how it affects vehicles, what damage it causes. Also just saying model of place, distance of nuke, we know it hit the ground but still far enough away to not damage the plane directly isn't enough variables to even contemplate an answer. You haven't even mentioned what model of aircraft (we talking F22 spit or 747, a single prop single engine general light aviation aircraft doesn't mean it has low tech avionics) age of aircraft, what avionics it has installed, rotation of aircraft, geographical location, earth's magnetic field in relation to location, type of nuke, payload of nuke, how many nukes in area never mind their distance, elevation, is the aircraft grounded, is aircraft in metal clad building (remember metal conducts), was aircraft at time of EMP connected to a power grid, geographical features. The real problem would be fuel which you haven't even thought of - are you dumb? Your question is like these questions ; if I run a vehicle over a gun what would the damage be?, how would you repair the damage? (Here’s one for all you drivers out there) if I drive a vehicle into another vehicle what would the damage be?, how would you repair the damage? There is no one definitive answer there is about 1,000,000,000 variations of answer. Each and every electronic part since there are so few could actually consist of ignition, radio and transponder - dependant on type and age of aircraft, early panels were mechanical and clockwork, some aircraft's only electronic component is it's ignition. The only damaged component could be the battery if any. The most probable damage to any other component would be voltage overload as an EMP is similar to a lightning strike which would be testing and replace of each individual component using a multimeter to test each component for continuity, resistance, polarity, and testing the wiring with an insulation resistance continuity tester. Edit: The hard part would be finding replacement components
