So I have used Aristaea's helpful guide http://social.biowar...34/blog/212463/ to change my Shepard's prologue outfit in ME3. I am changing the fourth casual suit to Shepard's leather jacket by editing appearance 4 and 5 with the Coalesced Utility. It works great but with just one significant problem. After the Reapers attack the defense committee and Shepard gets blown back I get odd texturing like the game will try to use the default "damaged" textures with the leather jacket mesh. As soon as Anderson and Shepard jump down and the cut scene ends the leather jacket show up normally and everything is fine. Would anyone have suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong? I have watched videos on YouTube of people who have changed the prologue outfit and their's works seamlessly with the new suit showing perfectly during the post attack cut scene. I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks, EBG

I just discovered that the vanilla NPCs at Moriarty's are standing on tables and chairs as well as not interacting with there environment and sandboxing as usual. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? I have clicked off about 30 mods but have not found the problem yet. I would appreciate any suggestions. I was hoping some FO3 nexus members might have some suggestions. I have a custom race chracter I am using as my player character. I have Fallout Reimagined and Hall of Face mods for my vanilla NPCs and my PC. My PC character is using Breeze's body while the vanilla NPCs are using FO3 default body meshes/textures but share the same face path as the NPC. This is the result: I do have "bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1" in Fallout.ini under the "General" section and my player character file is an .esm NOT an .esp so that shouldn't be an issue. I also have the UPDATED Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch. If I switch the head texture and create a unique custom path I have the same issue: Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Is there something I should be doing in the GECK to solve this issue? I know that in the Skyrim Creation Kit when you edit a character's face you should hit ALT F4 to recreate the face mesh and texture to solve these problems. Is there something similar in the GECK that will do this. Thanks, EBG

It is happening to me too on ME3 mods. Something is wrong, but I am sure the Moderators know and are working on it.

Each card has only 1280 GB of RAM although it was sold to me as if I was getting 2.4. I now realize that is doesn't add up.

Thanks! I always optimizes my textures and other than face and body replacements never go above 1024X1024 dds. Sadly I still have trouble with 1280 VRAM limit. I wonder if it makes sense to double that to one GPU with 3 GB.

Thanks! Is there a guide you could suggest for decribing how to organize the mods by the content they modify and resolve conflicts in Tes5Edit, as I am unfamilar with using it to clean.

What would be a better guideline than BOSS? Is a GTX 570 SLI, 1280 MB VRAM considered a crappy card?

I do use a solid state drive just for my games (and my c:drive is also solid state.) Obviously load order is crucial and I use BOSS for that. Should I definitely upgrade my video card? Is a one larger VRAM card better than SLI?

Hello Fellow Skyrim Nexus Members, I have been away from Skyrim for the last 7 months due to frustration over issues of VRAM and modding. I have what I think is a pretty good system that plays vanilla Skyrim fine. But with mods still run into major issues of freezing, stttering and continually having to reduce mod texture sizes. Here is my system: Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 2600K 3.4GHz/3.8GHz TurboMemory: 16GB Patriot® Division2 G2 DDR3-1600Motherboard Intel® DP67BG Extreme USB 3.0, SATAGraphics Card: 2x NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 570 2.4GB (SLI) - In reality only - 1280mb of VRAMSoundcard: 7.1 Channel High Definition Surround SoundMonitor Size: 27" 1920 X 1080Would upgrading my Video Cards dramatically improve performance? I can run on HIGH, but get better performance on MEDIUM or LOW. I am almost always at 1230-1250 VRAM with nearly all my mod textures optimized and reduced to 1024 X 1024. Does anyone have suggestions about what I could/should do? I would greatly appreciate some advice and suggestions. Both on my system or particular mods that I should use or avoid. Thanks, EBG

I hope someone has a suggestion for this problem. In my playthrough Alistair and Anora rule jointly. After defeating the Archdemon the cutscene plays with just Allistair becoming king. Then once it completes it plays the correct one (Alistair and Anora jointly becoming rulers) and then goes to the normal conclusion. Any ideas?

I have discovered that i need to keep all texture mods I download at no more than 1024 if I want to keep my VRAM under 1 gb (I have 1280 of VRAM) and still play at high with AA at 2X. I have optimized and reduced the size of my texture mods to vanilla sizes. In general I am happy with this solution except for face and body mods like CBBE, Bella Natural and Better Males. Does anyone else with a similar VRAM situation use HQ body and face mods without takin a major hit? My game became unplayable with the stuttering and VRAM quickly being trumped. I have a 570 in SLI and did not realize that my VRAM was not 2560.....sophomore newbie. Will having every male and female npc with a 2048 body and a 4096 face cause major VRAM jump? Hi Lanceor, I have spent this weekend playing around in Skyrim at different settings. I have learned a lot and have decided to reduce all the texture mods I love to vanilla resolutions with Texture Optimizer to keep my VRAM under 1 gb and still play at high with AA at 2X. I wanted to check with you about the face and body textures like CBBE and Better Male. They are at least 2048 or 4096 as opposed to the 512 and 1024. They don't look the same reduced. Do you think a bassically vanilla game can run under 1 gb with every npc having face and body textures? Thanks, ebg2465

I actually have 1.2 each video card but it is 2.4 total and my sli is on. I don't know why I can't run it at high or ultra but the stuttering is driving me nut. It has to be VRAM. I honestly thing that Skyrim was designed for console players and that Bethesda didn't take advantage of sli properly. How are your experiences with Skyrim? Do you think I would have better luck with a heavily modded Oblivion using your suggestions and other mods? Will it stutter and bottleneck. Thanks, EBG2465

So I have played Skyrim on my PC with about a 150 mods. Even though my system should be able to play on high, the best I can do is play on medium as high kills my VRAM and cause major fps. (even on medium it has some stuttering). I was wondering if I played a modded version of Oblivion if it would run better. I was hoping some Oblivion veterans would be able to suggest if they think my system would have an easier time playing it with mods and bigger textures. Thanks MShoap, I will try out your solution, but alt-tab doesn't seem to make a difference as it will happen again as I walk through a city or turn 360 degrees.
