  1. In response to post #25800299. #25801014, #25801664, #25801759, #25801849, #25803754 are all replies on the same post. The focus on makeshift weapons is getting me more excited. I never did like the overabundance of prewar weapons in FNV.
  2. From what i can see, they seem to be trying to emulate the look and feel of the first two Fallout games. The graphics look fine to me, what i'm more excited to know about is the gameplay. Hopefully, the combat is good. And on another note, we finally get to see where Harkness comes from. I wonder if we get to see more of his kind. P.S. IIRC, Dr Li went to Boston. So i wonder what the chances are of the player character meeting her again?
  3. Ah, well thanks for clarifying that for me.
  4. I have a CoH voice mod that i really want to upload here. However i not sure what policy and/or rules the Nexus has regarding audio from other games. I'm well aware that some have been deleted in the past, but since the Tiger 205 sound mod's still here, i'm thinking they changed it or something. Can anyone clarify this for me?
  5. That's karma for you i guess. Nice one there bud.
  6. I was browsing the FO3 nexus, and noticed that one of the mods that i was using was updated. So, i immediately proceeded to download the update. Unexpectedly, Siteadvisor was saying that the download has a virus. I immediately thought that it was that file alone, and tried downloading other mods for testing purposes. Same thing, still being noted that it has a virus.Tried downloading from the other nexus sites, same thing. Thinking that my pc has somehow caught a virus (or someone's messing with it, i don't know. I'm only "average" when it comes to pc stuff), i tried downloading from other websites. Luckily (for me), i didn't get any virus warning. So i've come to the conclusion that something might be wrong with the download system; or whatever it's supposed to be called. I've been a member of the Nexus Sites for almost five years, and this is the first time that i've had this problem. So, i was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. I download my mods manually, if that info helps. Guess you can say i'm old fashioned.
  7. Find an empty server on the "Join Game" options. Far as i know, "Create a game" is offline only. Basically, it's there for practice. Oh and you don't really need to play the tutorial to unlock the online multiplayer.
  8. In my opinion, they should just work together. They both do one thing good, while failing on the other. For example, Bethesda sucks at writing dialogues; Obsidian's just awesome at it. While i never really liked FNV, i gotta admit than the conversation between you and some of the npcs is very entertaining.
  9. So you've heard of Pokemon then? That's nothing compared to the Beyblade TV show. Seriously, who in their right mind would give kids tops that can conjure gale force winds, massive firestorms, and whatever else those things are capable of conjuring. They're literally carrying a handheld weapon of mass destruction.
  10. That's pretty much my thought concerning the Mayan Calendar. Hasn't it occurred to any of them that the said calendar ending, simply means it needs to be replaced? Maybe the Mayans thought they'd live as long as their calendars' duration.
  11. "Warlock! Bend, kneel and die!!" "Yes, YES!!! You will need a tank for me!!"
  12. Or they could do what Valve did for the bots' voice in CSS. I believe they just adjusted the pitch (if that's what its called) of the voice actor to make the voice of the varying levels of bots sound different.
  13. Combine New Vegas' dialogue with FO3's atmosphere/world design along with what you suggested. That's what i want for FO4. Oh and improved shooting mechanics. In FO3, burst or single shot firing is unnecessary since the guns have a pre-determined accuracy and spread. Meaning no matter how carefully you place your shots, it'll still miss if you have a low small guns skill.
  14. Well, it's being made by a totally different developer. So i'm not expecting a similarity between this game and Skyrim. Just because a title is from Bethesda Softworks doesn't mean that it'll be in the same vein as a game made by Bethesda Game Studios. Maybe its because its the publisher's decision if a game should have SDK or not? Don't know, not sure.
  15. All good pagans of the Old North eat horse flesh, but ponies and bronies I find hard to swallow. Historical poking aside, I don't understand the charm of a show made for 10 year old girls on grown men. Can someone actually explain this to me? And it has to be a lot better than "you wouldn't understand" or some kind of simple outsider/we-belong-to-this with no actual reasoning to it kind of thing. I am all ears. From what i heard, its creator threw away what My Little Pony was back in the day and changed it into something that's similar to the old Spongebob episodes and perhaps Adventure Time. Basically, it has some adult themes in it. Anyway, i hope the bronies don't take this as an offense but anyway........ The fact that they watch the show is not odd to me, its how they slap ponies on every moddable game imaginable. I mean, i love Spongebob (the old episodes at least) but i don't wanna slap his picture on my avatar's weaponry or armor. That fact is what makes me think that this "obsession" is not genuine, but rather peer pressure. As in, they just want to go with the flow. I could be wrong and there might be something else. But anyway, that's my two-cents on it. Again, no offense intended.
