Pretty much. A few years back the schools were shut down because it was going to snow a few inches. The best part: it didn't snow that day. XD This year we had maybe 5 cm of snow one day and they shut the schools down. The snow melted by the end of the day.

Yay! Early spring! I'm tired of it being cold so much. ._. Now for the inevitable responses from friends telling me that I don't know what true cold is like.

One of my college professors recommended adaware. Maybe I'll actually look into it. Although as of right now, I prefer Malwarebytes for scanning...

I should... During school hours. College is so much better than high school (in my experience, at least). For example, if the teacher says "That's all for today" then I can leave and drive home. =D And spend a few minutes trying to come up with something for The Last Poster Wins thread. That reminds me... I win.

Cats do sleep in the strangest of places... I can see all of those scenarios though. O.o

I run a dual-boot too (Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04). EasyBCD also made the boot loader a bit easier too. But I meant if you want to run a Windows program on Linux (without using Windows as a Virtual OS or dual-booting) then you would need WINE. Plus, Iv000 and I hang out often, so I already knew he had a dual-boot set up. But for anyone else reading, that may not have been obvious. Guess it helps to think of these things.

It isn't useless, it just depends on what you are using it for. If you want to run Windows games then you'll have to use WINE or one of its variations like PlayOnLinux or Crossover. Oblivion actually runs pretty nicely under WINE after you manually include every D3D9 dll file. x_x It's what I did to get around having an inky-black hero. I still haven't tried Skyrim. My HD 4870 can run Skyrim fine on Windows, but on Linux I can't even get past "New Game." I guess it was the drivers. So I switched to nVidia as they supposedly have better drivers, but I haven't tried Skyrim yet. Personally, though, I am very interested in ReactOS and its development as well. It's getting there... http://www.reactos.org/en/index.html

As a Windows user my entire life, I enjoy playing around with Linux. Especially the desktop effects... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRAcskPNof4

Just signed up for TESO beta testing. I have an "Above Average" chance of getting in. I think that's pretty good. Time to see what the next 48 hours will hold.

It's nice having Internet after your ISP wrongly shut it off.
