  1. 6GB DDR 2 1066 9600 GT 512MB (GDDR3 I believe) Intel Centrino Dual core 2.7ghz I get around 60-80 FPS in oblivion with a tad bit of tweaking to my clock speeds and gpu. I <3 my laptop.
  2. FPS: Combat Arms link clicky Combat arms is a very fun, tactical FPS that is free. You can pay real money for weapons and other perks, but none of the irl purchases are grossly overpowered. I've been playing for nearly 6 months now, and I'm not even half way to the highest ranks =/ The most entertaining aspect of this game, in my opinion, is the ability to clan war. They are basically 5v5 and above clan matches in either elimination (frags) Capture the flag, or any other game type. This game is free, and definitely worth playing. If anyone does play this from Nexus, throw me a shout my name on there is Maulth as well =D MMORPG: Shaiya Clicky Some of the features you can look forward to seeing in Shaiya: * 1500 vs 1500 - The ultimate Realm vs. Realm combat. * Bootleggery - Sell items to the opposing faction in the secret warehouse. * Challenges - Sick of someone's trash talk? Request a battle with a member of your own realm. * Arena Fights - Enter the grand arena and take your fight to a new level. * Goddess Blessing - Crushing the enemy doesn't just feel good, but it helps your side. * Guild Events - Guild vs. Guild combat, Guild vs. Monster combat, and the upcoming Willows Trial! * Quests, Mounts, Executions, Boss Fights, Dungeons, Demons, Dragons, and more... Plus it has guilds, various races, and if you ever played a game callled RYL, it feels quite a bit like it. Last Chaos Clicky Personal Dungeon System The "Personal Dungeon" is a private quest mode where players can go solo in an "arcade" style gaming environment. This allows players to experience parts of Last Chaos in privacy, and at a more rapid and exciting pace. Players are also rewarded handsomely in experience and treasure! E.R.A.S. Exciting Range of Aggressive Battle System With E.R.A.S. (Exciting Range of Aggressive Battle System), players can hit monsters within the sweep of their weapons! Combined with more exciting attack options that many action games don't have, Last Chaos provides more thrills and excitement than many similar action oriented on-line games. Item Crafting System Players are able to craft various useful items, which they can personally use or trade with other players. The Item Malls create a convenient method of trading. Player Vs Player Vs Environment Other online role-playing games have PvE - player versus environment (fighting computer-controlled monsters) and PvP - player versus player (human-controlled characters) fighting each other. Last Chaos brings these two game features together in an evolving system. PvPvE manages the complex relationships and alliances between races and guilds; and allows players a chance to test out their fighting skills against other players. Last Chaos will continue to work with players to improve the PvPvE features to make the game more exciting and challenging. Pet System With our new pet system, you can now have a faithful friend and loyal ally in your journey through out Iris. 12sky-2 Clicky Twelve Sky 2 is an adrenaline-pumping Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) based on an oriental fantasy theme of ancient China. Offering a uniquely intense and addictive faction vs. faction based gaming system, Twelve Sky 2 is filled with battle and action which is bound to satisfy all the PvP needs of veteran and new players alike. Players may choose from any of the three classes of each faction, then develop their skills, sharpen their weapons and refine their armor to produce a character fit for battle against the other Factions. But it isn't all about PvP, Twelve Sky also caters to a player's solo and party needs too! Explore a factions’ vast maps to kill monsters, party with comrades, complete an endless array of quests, or hunt down bosses and attain riches and fame along the way. Twelve Sky 2 also introduces a fourth faction, the Nangin. However, this new faction is not available at character creation. Players must achieve a high level to join this Faction, leaving their previous teammates and friends. All this and more! Best of all is Twelve Sky is Free to Play! * Brutal death animations and knockback against monsters * Large-scale fast-paced Player vs. Player (PvP) battle system * A large variety of authentic weapons and thousands of unique items * Elaborate weapon and armor enchanting system * Regularly updated content There are quite literally thousands more. But I figured I would reccomend a few I've played. Also a note to the OP, Fury Online is no longer a working product. I used to LOVE that game, but Auron Inc. shut it down due to the fact that they were making no money off of it. Hope this helps!
  3. I read the entire NOVEL that you presented above, I assure you (lol). I had very little time, so I just addressed the issue of whether it would be good or bad to reveal your powers, and in my opinion, that is a no.
  4. Thank you for the comment. I'm always happy when someone finds some semblance or comfort in one of my works. =) Feel free to keep reading, I'm thinking of making a "Maulth's Monster Thread of Poems" =D I have written QUITE a few.

  6. Thank you for the positive comments, I appreciate them =D
  7. I still spend quite a bit of time modding Morrowind, and of course, playing the hell out of it =D. Expanse doesn't even begin to cover it, and the lore is ABSOLUTELY fantastic.
  8. The question you are asking is rather simple: Do you tell someone if you happen to have some abnormal strength, or ability that would deem you, by most societies in the world, inhuman. Religion is becoming less and less prevalent in the world in which we live, and in direct response, in my opinion, morals are also on the decline. That is basically where the simplicity ends, I'm afraid. I wish I could simply say, if your skill, your manipulation of some otherworldly or worldly energies, helps another human being, saves a life, or even prevents a negative outcome; yes you should use it. But I cannot. If you were to possess said abilities, you would either be shunned by the world, or locked up in some testing facility in an underground base in the middle of the Utah desert. People live in fear of what they can't understand, and you doing something that they can't, let alone hardly, if anyone else, could have dire ramifications. It is a simple matter of whether the good of the act or ability weighs out the bad, but you must take into account the complexity of the consequences of using said powers or energies. It's an endless tirade of possibilities, most of which are not exactly shiny firefighter badges pinned to your new shirt.
  9. I knew that would make you click my thread =/ Anyway, hello! My name, in real life of course, (although who can tell the difference anymore?) is Trevor. My last name doesn't matter, because even if you could see it, you wouldn't be able to pronounce it correctly. =D What to say? I do quite a bit of modding, beginning with The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind of course. Started out there with a crappy computer and TES Construction set and have been working ever since. I finally moved onto Oblivion about a year ago, and recently I've taken up learning to do 3D modeling (3DS Max) and have been looking for a good couple of tutorials, manuals, websites, and/or Jedi masters to glean some knowledge from. I write quite a bit in my spare time, although recently "spare time" is just a few crude words thrown together that mean absolutely nothing. I'm a part of a fairly well-off and respected gaming community, Most Feared Gaming (don't laugh!). I play quite a few games ranging from the best RPG's of all time (mario duh!) Oblivion, to games like Combat Arms, Warcraft III (DotA mainly), and even some CS:S (before they shut down CAL -__-). I do quite a bit of programming and webdesign on the side (I know... I have quite a full plate...) and I am most knowledgable in C++ (working mainly with WinAPI but I know how to work with MFC a bit) and a tad bit of VB, and of course the easy things like HTML, PHP, and some SQL. Did I mention I'm 18? Well. It's 5:30am here, so I'm going to peruse the sight a bit more, but this seems like a real gem you guys have going here. Can't wait to become a part of it!
  10. The darkness beckons, the shadows stir. Corruption spreads like dust upon the wind. Morales and beliefs shorn like fur. Evil derived of a sickness unable to mend. Shadows and evil born unto the night. Roaming this world, escaped from the abyss. Darkness descends, clouding my sight, Yet people continue on, as if nothing’s amiss. Why can’t they see? These denizens of day. The imperfection surrounding us, encasing, Reveling in ignorance, the parts they play. Subsequence, Humankind they’re defacing. Yet beyond a churning sea of troubles wait, A being of unequivocal valor and wit. Her guise so pure, her name? Fate. For these men are but kindle to be lit. The clouds break, as the sun shines once again. The shadows and unspeakable evils shrink back. An unholy union formed, consummated in sin. Another being arises, fates’ purity it seems to lack. This putrid being walks, defiling our sweet Earth. The horrors it rains down upon us mere mortals. Robbing us of all we love, our lives and mirth. The great battle shall begin, who’s the stronger immortal? We know not the time nor hour of our demise, Only the field in which we shall decide. Until the human heart begins to realize, Which side of the battle does his soul reside. Only time shall show us who is the triumphant one. We are the proxies in which the good and evil extend. Who shall win this battle of the titans? The glorious sun? Or shall the evil-hearted let loose the shadows once again?
  11. The boundless sea rises and falls, churning. For far too long I have felt weighted, A longing deep inside, a passion burning. A hunger within that cannot be satiated. Hope is slowly strangling me, a tightening noose. Giving way to an invalid liberation of my mind. If only I could account these feelings to a ruse. Where is my messiah now? I have an axe to grind. Desolate words written on a blank page, The ink fading to naught but a memory. These words are my prison, my cage. My love is now dimly shimmering. The sea will soon wash away it all. I will begin the journey once again. From my heightened perch I shall fall. This is a battle that I will never win.
