  1. This, right here, is exactly what's wrong with the update in a nutshell. You've removed key features like date range search, tracked content updates, list view etc and when people point this out 'you' tell us they're coming soon. The update shouldn't have been pushed through in a state where features were removed with a vague promise that they will come back sometime. It's like nobody at Nexus thought 'oh what effect will this change have on mod authors, or mod users in how they use the site every day?'. An improvement should do everything it did before, but better, not worse with fewer features.
  2. They're not just your tracked mods. They're you're tracked mods that have had new posts in the comments or other UPDATES, a huge difference to just showing what mods you're tracking.
  3. It was intentionally removed and they 'hope to bring it back somewhere else' (paraphrased). In the meantime I've set my notifications to ping me when someone comments on one of my mods.
  4. Question for any Nexus staff. If you held a poll and the vote was a majority to go back to the older UI, would you do it?
  5. And I see now removing the \games\ from the URL no longer shows the old page. 85 pages now of mostly negative comments about the new look but Nexus just presses on with it regardless.
  6. Just to add, another way of viewing a 'vocal minority' in a more positive light, rather than an excuse to dismiss their opinions out of hand, is 'those passionate enough to speak up about something'. I'm sure the majority either don't care or can't be bothered because they will quite likely just get fobbed off anyway.
  7. Have to say, removing features and hoping to bring them back, sometime, maybe, is a pretty poor way to do things. An 'improvement' should do everything it did before, but better than before. Not worse than before, but 'bear with us while we bring back stuff we never should have removed in the first place'. I'm disappointed with the changes themselves, but even more so in the general attitude from Nexus in response to mostly constructive criticism.
  8. Thanks I guess. How long before this is reintroduced please? And in the meantime, you expect me to scroll through all my mods to see if there any new comments? This makes it seriously more difficult for mod authors to engage with their users. Isn't this something you wanted to encourage with the DP changes?
  9. @Iluviel I can get used to the changes I guess, because you're obviously dismissing our opinions as a 'vocal minority'. But why remove the 'tracked contents updates' tab? It's a useful tool, especially for mod authors who want to quickly see if their mods have any new posts on the comments page. It's obvious the design changes are here to stay but please bring this back. Or at the very least explain why you removed it.
  10. Mentioned above, but the tracked contents updates are invaluable for mod authors so we can easily see new comments on our mod pages. Is removing this a deliberate choice? Surely you don't expect us to scour all our mod pages for new comments? This is a serious downgrade in functionality and suggests to me that you have idea what users really want/need. I'm also missing the list view of new mods, with small thumbnails, top to bottom, and only see a 'gallery' type view now.
  11. I'm trying to upload a mod. Despite a new interface, you STILL haven't fixed the indexing bug where you have to wait 15 minutes and it keeps telling you don't have permission to upload a mod and that it's unpublished. This has been going on for months. Also, when trying to opt the mod into DP, I get told 'you don't have any mods'. Pretty poor all round.
  12. I've suddenly switched to this. It's confusing because links (including author names) are now in orange which was traditionally the colour for Oldrim and SE was in blue. I thought I was on the wrong mod section for a minute. I don't like it. Why change the colours to something that used to be for something different?
  13. I've had this on my last three mods published. It's pretty annoying, is there a fix on the horizon?
  14. Lack of a search option on comments is a massive step backwards. Previously the 'view forum' thread was invaluable. Now we're expected to wade through dozens of pages to find a comment? An 'improvement' shouldn't take away useful functionality and this will surely lead to an increase in repeated questions on mod pages because users can't check to see if their issue was already posted.
