  1. There are several things that could be happening and several possible fixes. Are you using any mods? Also, have you tried to toggle clipping (TCL in console)? Often, TCL allows you to go straight through a wall/door with no loading screen. Provide a bit more information, and I will try to find you a solution. I've spent many months dealing with hundreds of issues in Skyrim (modding). I'm no expert, but I'm willing to help.
  2. Ah! Never has it been so easily explained! Perhaps you have the Thu'um?? lol But seriously, thanks. Can clean with peace of mind now.
  3. Thank you for the quick reply. Nope. But instead of the extreme motion sickness, it is choppy, clippy, and laggy. However, some areas (Whiterun, College of Winterhold, and Riften) are only playable withOUT Hialgo and actually run quite smoothly without it. I've disabled every texture enhancing mod, installed several reduced texture mods, completely deleted and reinstalled Skyrim + all mods, and can still only play on Low Settings (and barely at that). These are my (crappy, I know) specs: Windows 7 64bit AMD Phenom II X2 521 3.50 GHz 4 Gb RAM Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT 1 Gb VRAM If I save up for an AMD 5970 2 Gb and get 8 Gb of RAM, do you think that will help? Or maybe you have a better idea of a graphics card?
  4. So, HiAlgoBoost is a must on my (not for gaming) PC. And it works.........except for the motion blur when i look horizontally. Any time I swing the camera on the x-axis (sideways), screen resolution drops dramatically and I get an instant massive lag hit, often resulting in freeze up or CTD. But looking and moving straight forward or up and down is not an issue. Also, I use a 360 Controller. Any ways to fix, or at least reduce the motion blur? Thanks, Chris Dovahkiin
  5. Ahhhhh........thank you! Then, I'll clean. None of the mod authors for my mods mentioned that the mods were already cleaned, and as for the navmesh.......I honestly haven't noticed anything. Thank you for the peace of mind!
  6. I have a heavily modded (80+) Skyrim on a crappy (super crappy) PC. Specs: Nvidia GT 9400 1Gb 4 Gb RAM AMD Phenom II X2 521 3.50 GHz HiAlgoBoost was a must for me. However, in certain areas, I HAVE to turn it off. In these areas, HiAlgo actually CREATES massive lag (?). Also, some areas aren't affected (or improved) at all, namely Riften and surrounding area, Whiterun and surrounding area, and especially College of Winterhold Courtyard. There is a pile of settings in the config file, but I have NO clue if they can be beneficially tweaked, nor can I find a forum that discusses the subject. Does anyone know if it can be adjusted or improved? Or if there is something better to use? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Chris Dovahkiin
  7. So, I run Skyrim on a less-than-optimum-system (lousy graphics card, 4 Gb RAM). I use 89 mods and Skyrim runs fairly smooth (on low of course). CTD's every now and then, but I save often.......not a big deal. LOOT seems to work well, but I have a couple of concerns. LOOT tells me I have 17 "dirty mods" and 1 mod with a deleted navmesh record. Reading hundreds of forums, half of people say "Clean the dirty mods!" and the other half say "DO NOT (EVER) clean the dirtymods!" Do I clean them, or no? Will this help CTD and performance? And is the deleted navmesh fatal, bad, or nothing? ( it's the Explorer Dungeons Pack 1 ) Guess I just want a couple opinions.......any advice would be useful! If I need to post the LOOT report, let me know. Thanks, Chris Dovahkiin
  8. Specs look good, and so does SPM. Have you tried Project Optimization, or Vanilla Reduced textures? Project Optimization is all-around a must, and VRT decreases texture size with no graphic quality loss. I use following system: HP P6328W Windows Home Premium AMD Phenom II X2 521 3.50 GHz Nvidia GT 9400 1 GB Nothing that should handle Skyrim, yet I run Skyrim with 80+ mods. Let me know if you need help, I've spent hours perfecting and Skyrim runs at max graphics, no lag, and no CTD!
  9. That's the problem........I have a disc version. And I won't buy it again. Anywhere else I can find it?
  10. Hey, just wondering where I can get the Creation Kit. Can't find it on Steam.....or anywhere.
  11. http://s27.photobucket.com/user/chrispy4321hrisDovahkiin/library/?view=recent&page=1 This is the SPM screenshot. I disabled all three HR Packs.......game doesn't lag as hard, but still lags. According to SPM, GPU still runs at 100%, so I'll save up for better GPU. Let me know if you see anything else in the screenshot......and thanks!
  12. Hey guys....thanks for replying. I'm not as new as I seem. LOOT changes nothing in the load order, and I cleaned everything Mod Organizer suggested, with TES5Edit. I've been an addict on the xbox, and now PC. As for specs....... HP Desktop Windows 7 Home Premium 4 GB RAM AMD Phenom II X2 521 3.50 GhZ Processor Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT 1 GB VRAM (it was cheap and I know it sucks) Have changed a couple things myself..........fewer CTD's, but still massive lag spikes, and still audio glitching (which also leads to crash.) Hope this info helps, and if you need more please let me know! Thanks, Chris Dovahkiin
  13. Hey guys. I've just started modding my Skyrim, and I've run into some issues. The following is the mods installed, and their load order: Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Dawnguard.esm Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp Hearthfires.esm Unofficial Hearthfires Patch.esp Dragonborn.esm Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp Falskaar.esm High Resolution Pack 1.esp " 2.esp "3.esp Unofficial High Res Patch.esp Enchant 4 effects.esp SkyUI.esp Tundra Defense.esp dD-Enhanced Blood Main.esp Immersive Weapons.esp Immersive Armors.esp TES Music Morrowind and Oblivion Soundtrack.esp The Dance of Death Ultimate.esp Amazing Follower Tweaks.esp Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp Immersive Patrols.esp Apocalypse Spell Package.esp Helgen Reborn.esp Interesting NPC's.esp I also have HiAlgoBoost The problems are various.....frequent CTD, extreme lag in certain areas, random sound glitches, other......strange....things. And sometimes, Skyrim just won't start. Is the load order bad? Are some of these mods incompatible? I've read all of the authors' pages and have found nothing. Also following the "advised" load order from Unofficial Patch pages. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Chris Dovahkiin
