  1. The search has now been updated to work with Site Preferences: https://next.nexusmods.com/settings/preferences Default quick search: Controls the "type" of search that is used by default, e.g. "All Content", "Games", "Mods", etc. Default mod sorting: Controls the "sorting" of search and results that is used by default, e.g. "Downloads", "Endorsements", "Last Updated", "Date Published", etc. Please let us know how you get on with these changes and whether further improvements are needed.
  2. Everything other than 'Last Updated' filters on date published (which has always been the behaviour). Agreed this could be clearer.
  3. Tracked Content Updates are now available within the Tracking Centre, next to the other pages used to control what you do/don't track.
  4. Thanks for the feedback. Both of these filters are still available in the new UI, as they were in the old one (see the Search Parameters):
  5. Thanks for the report, we've raised this with our advertising provider and will get it swiftly removed.

  8. The Community team are working a long-form post to address lots of the points of feedback raised in here, which will be shared soon. The Monthly Roundup will also have a more detailed list of what we're still working on (there's a lot). It'll also include a list of changes made so far, in case they've been missed and need calling out (lots of backend changes to search, for example, which might not be immediately obvious).
  9. Thanks for the feedback. An 'Audio' category is available for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: https://www.nexusmods.com/games/metalgearrisingrevengeance/mods?status=published&excludedTag=&gameName=&languageName=&sortDirection=DESC&tag=&timeRange=0&categoryName=Audio. If a mod is not categorised correctly, you can report it. Mods can also be tagged as 'Music, 'Sound FX' or 'Voice Acting'. If a mod is missing an appropriate tag, you can vote for it.
  10. Thanks for the feedback. We're currently working on moving tracked content updates to the tracking centre, which will bring this functionality back for you.
  11. This would be very useful, I agree. I've always found it obtuse that the date range sort only ever applies to the publish date of the mod, even when you're sorting by another criteria. It makes sense to me that if I'm sorting by "Endorsements" and "14 Days", then the results are for endorsements in the last 14 days. I'm very keen to explore this as an improvement in the future.
  12. This is still available in the new UI, using the "Description contains..." filter.
  13. Thanks for the feedback. We're working on this now and it'll be available again soon.# This is now available again.
  14. We're not seeing this on Opera or Opera GX, we do test on these browsers. Do you have any extensions installed that might be causing this? Or possible some accessibility settings?
  15. We haven't shipped the updated UI for that page yet, but it's nearly ready to go.
  16. Your assertion that we do not care about PC users is not factual. I believe that I responded earlier in this forum post on the topic (see below). Please refrain from posts like this, it is not helpful for new users joining the thread.
  17. Thanks for the clarification. Would you be able to expand on what isn't smooth or what feels jumpy/laggy? A video capture would be ideal, but I appreciate that may be asking a lot. Would be able to share more details on your setup so we can reproduce this problem? What browser are you using? Do you have extensions installed? What page are you specifically seeing this on? What elements of the page are not performant?
  18. You'll be glad to hear then, that the date range filter is still in development and is being added to the new pages. My previous post explains our rationale. There's no need to be offended by this, but it is a factual statement that a minute percentage of the site's users are in this thread. I'd hope that my replies to many users over the past day shows that we're not dismissing anything and are engaging in constructive conversation. Well put. I do hope that it is not felt that we're not dismissing you. We are trying very openly to engage with you right now. I believe what I'm trying to convey is that, although there are a small number of users in this thread giving us passionate feedback, there are millions of users on the site who are not and seemingly have no issue. Your feedback is doubtlessly going to improve their experience as we take it on board and make further changes.
  19. Sorry if my responses aren't quite up to scratch. The rationale for most of these changes is that we needed to move our frontend code into a design system that was easy to develop. The "old" UI was not that and now we're at the stage where further changes can be made with relative ease. I certainly am taking an approach of not letting "perfect" be the enemy of good. Yes, we're still working on adding/moving things like date range selectors, keyword filters and tracked content updates. No, we're not willing to let adding those slow down our development. Will those things come back sometime, maybe? I'll do you one better and say definitely and in the coming weeks.
  20. Until we do get that change shipped, you can search by mod title using the search: Further filtering your results by title is missing until then, yes. Please, bear with us as we continue to make further improvements, it won't be long.
  21. We're working on improving this by making the search look at keywords in the title, summary and description. Historically, search only ever looked at title. The 'Description contains...' field will be more robust and look at all keywords on a mod, becoming a 'Keywords' filter. This will be coming soon.
  22. I know you're quite frustrated, but hopefully I can help with this particular point. I've attached a short video showing what you're describing. From the homepage, I opened the search, entered a keyword, used 'CTRL + Left Click' and 'Right Click + Open in new tab', queued up multiple pages in the browser, closed the search and remained on the same page. Does this help with what you're trying to do? Recording 2025-03-19 142056.mp4
  23. The filters on the left are actually expanded and open by default now, rather than hidden. Thanks for the clarification on the search filters. I'm trying to understand better the exact problem you're having. Would you be able to provide an example search that isn't returning the mod you're looking for?
  24. We're discussing internally whether https://www.nexusmods.com/mods/trackingcentre is a better home for it. If we can, we'll move it there soon. I need to pull some developers in to look at it.
