  1. Oh, so THAT'S what that was for. This is gonna be SO cool.
  2. For some reason I never downloaded the official patch. I bought my game off some guy on Ebay, and I doubt it will work with it. I would like to know if the official patch touch would make it official patch dependant. Thanks. What I do will have no effect, since I'm working with models and textures outside the CS. I don't see why WarKirby's work in the CS would make the mod patch-dependent either, but heaven knows I'm not the expert on that. I got my game copy from a wholesaler on ebay (where else could I get the special edition with manuals, maps and commemorative septim for $20?), and I've never had a problem with the official patch. If you have the original cd or dvd, there's no reason why you should have a problem, either.
  3. That's right. And I am making those custom textures as we speak, I swear. Check your email, WK. :) I use: The current version of the Castle (the one AFTER the broken one) Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul The Official Patch At least a dozen others incl. the Cosmetic Compilation, Natural Environments, Myths and Legends, The Oblivion Tournament, etc. ...And my own armor mod and my tester version of my armor-mod-in-progress, and I have no problems whatsoever. I was just running around the castle last night looking at the facial tweaks I did on Lord Cain and all the guards. (Not that WarKirby's are bad, I just have a personal preference toward smaller nose bridges and higher cheekbones). Not even much of an fps hit once you get inside. I don't think I have the Unofficial patch, so I can't report on that one. But definitely no problem with OOO.
  4. The Arena, of course. :) The alchemy sorter. I love sorters and so few mods have them. I'm using the one that goes in the Main Ingredient basement right now, but I'd really like one that's part of a house mod. The bandit attacks. A wonderfully original idea. The dungeon. I'm just fond of dungeons. The garden. Ideally with some sort of supernatural/fantasy creature in it, such as a nonaggressive spriggan and some deer. I'm not particular about the rest of the guards, though I suppose they're necessary for the bandit attack thing to work. I could care less whether or not there's a village. I'd like to see the castle itself more populated first; it has lots of wonderfully imposing spaces and could use a little more life to fill them.
  5. Sorry, I forgot to ask when I PMd you. If I was on version 1.5 and I never downloaded the broken one, can I skip directly to the 4.4mb version that's up now?
  6. You're gonna generate the faces? Boo. Email me. :)
  7. Sorry, my computer is down for at least a day. :excl: I was testing a new CPU for my sister and I bent some pins on the old one and now I have to spend a few hours going over it with a magnifying glass to find them. Aaargh. Maybe Vulture can help.
  8. Fair enough on the names thing. I did start outside, but I missed the part about having to go get the key again. My bad. I think I also forgot to mention how awesome it is that the guard captain is huuuuuge. Could you point me toward the method for NPC resizing? I haven't seen it anywhere (I do use the All Shapes and Sizes mod and I love it). Please feel free to PM me if you don't want to put it on your thread.
  9. Addl. Bug report. First, the things I liked: -Variable guard hair colors. The game engine does pink and green and red, but normal NPCs never have these colors. So disappointing. I like how yours are all different. -The Thing That Should Not Be is no longer wandering the hallway, whew. -The two guards on either side of the throne. Neat. Though I wish they were one male, one female instead of both girls (since I'm female ;) ). -The guards who are reading on guard duty. I like the suggestion that they're smart esp. Gordo the Orc. :) And the problems: -I can see blue water under the edge of a cell door in the dungeon area. -All the doors in the Door Room are now locked and require a key that they say I don't have. Was I supposed to get this somewhere else and I missed it? I was using them before I did the upgrade with no problem. -The pop culture guard names that don't sound at all like the guards' races. "Faith?" "Jared?" C'mon, the rest of the mod doesn't screw up my immersion. He ought to at least be Gordo gro-Hombre or something.
  10. What program are people using to record? I'm failing to get mp3's that the game will recognize with Audacity despite checking the settings over and over.
  11. Sweet - maybe after I get the new version I'll make some new furniture for it. Supposing I can pry myself away from making new armor meshes, that is. Has anyone else noticed the floor disappearing in the Skingrad Mages' Guild after adding this mod? Suddenly I'm looking at a bunch of permanently falling mages. If nobody else has the same problem, I'll assume it's a broken save.
  12. That's planned! To make sure everyone needs my ultra fps-booster _2000_ of DOOM :) Perhaps this is a dumb question, but where do I download the update with the guards? I looked on tessource and I now have just the original peopleless (except for that gross looking guy in the dungeon) version. Love the fireflies, btw.
  13. Looks exciting, guys. I'll be sure and download it when it's finished.
