I've got a similar mod setup and had crashes as you describe, fixed it by deleting NMCs terrain texture pack So delete any hi res textures, I've got a lot of hi res ones but just getting rid of the huge terrain ones has fixed it, don't even use the performance textures just default terrain, see if that fixes it
