Hi all, As the title says. I am using Cleaner Diamond City Environment. Also using New Landscape Grass in the Commonwealth. Every where has a green tinge except Diamond City, the Jewel of the commonwealth and so on. I would like it to have a green tinge as well, not a jungle, just a green tinge. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Regards E.K

Hi all, I have about a dozen mods that I manually installed. Have not played for a while. Fired it up last night and of course Steam did its auto update. I have the latest f4se to match the update but now mods will not load. Can someone enlighten me on this one. Regards E.K

Hi all, Dabling with the CK to make and learn how to myself a house. Have opened a couple in the CK to see how others do it and get ideas. Then I opened this one house in the CK and it was a mass of red and white exclamation mark markers. No walls, floors, roof, had a few static things in there but not much. My question is, is it an old way, new way, better way of doing it, why do it like this. Thanks in advance E.K

Yes, it has the black wireframe, is there any way around it, or it just means I can not put them there. Regards E.K

Request : Higher point of view

What I think would be a big help for me anyway, would be to have some tilt when zoomed right out, even as little as 20-30 degrees. Have a good one E.K -
Hi all, This has been an interesting read, and I usually just read threads like this one and never comment, but in this case with this game I am making an exception. First I would like to say that I will never buy a game from this company ever again. I purchased the Retail limited Edition, at a cost of 120 bucks in my country. It was advertised as having a second disk of content. Me thinking it was the expansions on disk, but it was just a disk of rubbish, what a waste of space that was, it is now an expensive drink coaster. The extra content was still DLC. The best part was the wooden box it came in, which I have put to a better use. Oh, must not forget the rag map, dog got that. Manual, what manual, not even a digital one on the disk/s. I think I remember reading some where that they want 20/30 bucks or some thing for some sort of manual or some thing. Good god, what a bunch of rip off merchants. Now before you start yelling that I should have bought it on Steam, don't even go down that road, I got bitten badly buying Oblivion on Steam, and then had to go and buy it from the store later again because Steam mess with the .exe file on the game/s, so as far as I am concerned they are not selling an original direct equivalent of the original game as put out by the original company/author. As far as I am also concerned buying and down loading games other than from the original company/author, and even then you have to be very careful, is a big no no, especially from Steam and others like it, they have you by the short and curlies. As for the game itself, average, and that is being kind. The code is very poorly written and inefficient, stressing even good computers like no other game of this standard, which I said is only average. Apart from the rinky dink little play areas and poor graphics, which I might add, your computer would not handle good graphics because the poor coding is already wringing your computers neck. The camera is poorly done, zoom right out and you can only see about ten feet in front of you, zoom down low so you can see ahead, then you have drastic selection problems. The best feature of the game is the space bar pause that allows you to get around the drastic limitations of this game in game play. Without that feature, this game would be totally unplayable. Oh yes the cut scene movies, didn't they try this in games some time ago and fall flat on their faces. The first time through, fine, but still a bit tedious and time wasting, second time through, a real pain, I want to play the game, not watch all this again. The two keys that got a pounding when I played were Space and Escape. I played the game through twice, first was sixty hours twenty two minutes, the second was fifty five hours and seven minutes. So much for eighty hours of play. I saved time in the second, mashing the escape key. The game is very linear, if you played through it three times you could probably do it with your eyes shut. The game has very little replayability, for want of a better word, after a couple of plays, you know exactly what is coming next, and short of play it on a higher difficulty, that is not replay in my mind. For me, I thought that an experienced company could have turned out some thing much better than this. This game is almost as though it was written by a bunch of high school kids as a high school project. As for the this new DLC, that would cost me seven fifty or eight bucks here, not everyone lives in the good old U.S of A. There are other people on the planet. Anyway, that is my two cents worth on this game, to say I am disappointed in the game is correct. I can only say that hopefully the modding community will save its sorry A. Have a good day one and all. E.K

To Dark0ne, The site is looking good and running well so far, of course you still have a ways to go yet, but you will get there, especially doing it all on your own, many sleepless nights. congrats to you. To everyone else. This is not a rant, just pointing out some facts of web site life. As Dark0ne said, this is not a fan site, there are already plenty of those. It is a service/resource site. Most of you come here to download mod files and chat on the forum. Not to look at the scenery. The first rule of thumb for most web sites is to work on the K.I.S.S principle, and this site is certainly KISSABLE so far. To fill a site with graphics, flash and all the other 'pretties', is a resource hog. What do you want, faster download, or a lot of useless eye candy. May look pretty for the first few times, but then it gets D.B, then later it becomes down right annoying. So ask yourself do you want 'Pretty' or do you want 'Service'. If you want pretty, then subscribe, because it will cost a lot more bucks/quids to dish up both. Give the man a break, he is a Uni student for heavens sake, doing this out of his own pocket, and where ever he can scrounge so bucks/quids from. He is not some mega corp. So cut the man some slack, be a little thankful for this site. It is the best out there for TES resources. You do not have to register or pay to download, just come along, get what you want, then leave. It is a top service as far as I am concerned. Dark0ne, a small suggestion if I may, that just might add to the subscriptions, under the name have some sort of acknowledgement of their membership level. Anything to boost the coffers. In short, Dark0ne, you are the designer/builder, you are the only one that knows how much quids/bandwidth you have. You do the site how you want it. Take a leaf from the modding community, 'Build the mod for yourself first', then later change what you can change to suite others. Have a good day one and all. E.K

Let me ask a question first of all who have played MW. If you improved three things in MW, graphics, AI, and combat. What sort of a game would you have? Answer - an Oblivion killer. To answer the questions that were posed. Is it the game I was expecting, or hoping for : a resounding NO Do I enjoy playing it ; only some what. If I was the head developer : I would shoot myself ! , sorry just kidding ( smile ), hmm, on second thoughts, well maybe not just kidding. I have played MW since it came out, and still am. Oblivion for four months, now I feel like the dog that caught the car ' now what do I do with it ' , but with MW, I just continue to play it. Shivering Isles for me was a waste of money. Now my two cents worth. For me Oblivion over MW is only its graphics. Because I have played ES series of games since their inception, yes I am an old gamer, it seemed to me that Beth's were always on a up hill run from game to game, strength to strength. But now with Oblivion, it seems as if they have tripped over, or at best had a bad stumble. Now they are on a severe down hill slide with this one. The best they can hope for with Oblivion is that the moding community can save their collective butts. Although it will be tough even for the moders to do that because in lots of ways Beth's have ham strung them as well. It seems to me that these days there is a game developers pub or club some where, where they meet every Friday night after work, for a few beers and a cigar or two, and to discuss the future games they are going to release. If you look at some of the old favorites that have been around for years, their latest versions are only pretty graphics, and have gone down a similar road to Oblivion. Landmass has shrunk to the size of a postage stamp, and a small one at that, game play out the window, and very little thought given to other aspects of the game. As was mentioned before, how to get a ship out to sea, etc, and so on. If you stop and think of all the years since MW was written, the experience gained by that, the hardware improvements and so on, and the best that Beth's can do is this. Not to mention the bugs, if it was a bed, you would never sleep in it, without disinfecting it first. All I can say for Oblivion is, go the moding community!, because without them, this one is down the........... I guess that is my two cents worth for now ( smile ). E.K
