Are you using the newest version of Script Merger? Since maybe you have an .xml conflict that could be causing havoc. Also have you checked to see if all the mods you're using have updated to be 1.10 compatible? Hell it might even be your Witcher 3 being the problem, could be worth a shot verifying/repairing it to see if any problems get fixed. I don't believe I saw "Skip Movies" update yet, so that could actually be the problem mod. Have you tried launching the game without it installed? Hopefully one of these solve your problem man. Let me know how it goes.

[Mod Request] switch camera
Drone456 replied to Fuz's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
No problem man, glad to help. Hopefully I can actually do so :) Sorry man, but I'm confused then. Like I said originally, I interpreted it both ways, but I feel like what you primarily wanted was to remove the "over the shoulder" camera angle the game has. If that is indeed the case, then the second link should allow you to do so. Would you mind elaborating a bit more on what it is you're asking for? Sorry, just confused lol. -
[Mod Request] Always walk with Gamepad stick
Drone456 replied to Eferas's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Now these aren't exactly what you want, but they seem pretty damn close. So in the event no one does exactly what you're asking, you can at least have a reasonable semblance of what you're hoping to achieve. http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/458/? http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/397/? http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/641/? - This sounds like it might be the closest to what you want, and possibly with some finagling be even exactly what you're looking for. Not sure. I have no idea how well these work, since I personally haven't used them. Worst case scenario though, you can ask these specific authors your request directly, since they seem to be in your same mindset of what they wanted. Hopefully expediting results. Good luck man, hope these helped. -
I am not aware of a mod limit, nor have I had this issue personally. I currently have around 70 mods installed (give or take, since some of have multiple files), and it loads fine (I also don't have a mod.settings file). Or at least did, I haven't actually launched the game with the new 1.10 update. Still in the process of migrating all updates, changes, etc. lol. Did you try swapping in and out all of your mods? Like move all 48 (or how many you have) of them to a folder, and add them back in 5 at a time. Until you either find the reason why, or indeed hit a cap that wasn't there previously. Also are you using Script Merger? Maybe you have a weird conflict that isn't allowing it to start. Or even possibly you have an outdated mod that alters the main menu screen? Hopefully you can figure it out man, good luck.

Script errors
Drone456 replied to yoshieatscookies's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
This is copy/pasted from the post section on ksolberg's mod Immersive Cam, since it sums it up really nicely: -- SCRIPT COMPILATION ERRORS -- If you are running ANY script mod after the 1.10 patch, you will probably run into these script errors when the game tries to compile... Error [content0]game\behavior_tree\tasks\monsters\bttaskmaintainsp eed.ws(10): Class 'CBTTaskMaintainSpeed' already defined. Error [content0]game\behavior_tree\tasks\monsters\bttaskmaintainsp eed.ws(74): Class 'CBTTaskMaintainSpeedDef' already defined. Error [content0]game\behavior_tree\tasks\reactions\bttaskisman.ws( 4): Class 'CBTCondIsMan' already defined. Error [content0]game\behavior_tree\tasks\reactions\bttaskisman.ws( 15): Class 'CBTCondIsManDef' already defined. THIS IS NOT CAUSED BY THE MOD, BUT BY A PROBLEM WITH THE PATCH 1.10 SCRIPT SOURCE FOLDER. The fix was posted by aznricepuff in this thread: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/58863-Patch-1-10-Script-compilation-error?p=1932755#post1932755. THE FIX Navigate to this directory: <Witcher 3 Install Path>\content\content0\scripts\game\behavior_tree\ tasks Then delete the folder named "hacks" (make a backup of it first somewhere). Now everything should compile fine. IF YOU STILL HAVE COMPILATION ERRORS AFTER TRYING THE STEPS ABOVE... If you have all the patches, but scripts still won't compile, download "Witcher 3 script sources for players having problems with compiling any mods" file from the MISCELLANEOUS section under FILES tab, unzip it and copy resulting "scripts" folder into your "<Path To The Witcher 3>\content\content0\" folder. If you already have "scripts" folder under this exact path, delete it before copying unzipped one. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also the link to his mod should you wish to check it out. (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/689/?) Hope that helps ya man. -
Would you mind telling me what mod you downloaded that has this? Because I don't think I've come across a mod that has had a .bin inside it. And would like to see if it has a .bin for me as well. Additionally have you tried redownloading this mod, to see if perhaps Nexus, or even the Nexus Mod Manager (if that's what you used to install it) potentially screwed up the download? Such as not unpacking it correctly or something? Also no worries on the late reply man. At least you did indeed reply, so thanks for that :) @lurumagno Hey luru, yeah the new update seemingly broke like every mod possible. Admittedly it is a pretty massive patch, so that seemed likely. If I were you (if you don't already), I would keep an eye here (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/newrecently/?) to see if any of your installed mods have updated for patch 1.10 compatibility. Alternatively, you can just track them I guess. So that way you're notified when they update. Can't really tell you how that all works, since I haven't actually done it. I just watch that link I sent you, to see any updates/new additions. Hopefully your mods get fixed soon :)

The Witcher 3 Survival Mod [Request]
Drone456 replied to lurumagno's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Ah ok, sounds cool man. Looking forward to seeing what you provide. Also based on what they just did to your basic needs mod, I think you mean "fixes" lmao. Good luck on your overhaul man. -
[Mod request] Combat Log Messages Duration
Drone456 replied to tnovak's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Unfortunately I can't help with this request, but I just wanted to let you know that you conveyed your request quite well. So no worries on your English potentially obscuring what you're trying to say. :) The only thing that you might want to phrase a little differently would be this part "Can I have a question?". To something like, "May I ask a question?", or even "Can I ask a question?". Although the last one isn't necessarily grammatically correct, and you could potentially get somebody that responds with "I don't know, can you?" lol. Regardless, I too would definitely want something like this. So hopefully either you, or somebody else can figure it out. I have no idea why they would even include the log system when it almost immediately vanishes. Seems useless currently. Good luck man. -

Lol I was just about to link your mod here as well. If you don't mind spoiling a little, what is the "bigger" project? -

The Witcher 3 Survival Mod [Request]
Drone456 replied to lurumagno's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
No problem man, glad to help somewhat. Saw you originally (didn't have a mod in mind to link at the time), and felt bad that you kept supplying links for people when no one has responded. So I wanted to at least respond to you, to let you know people are seeing your messages. Thanks man, just thought of it when I was typing to you. Unfortunately English is my native language, but scripting isn't :D I bet someone at some point will do it definitely, the game is way too fitting for such a system not to be added. I expect the only reason it hasn't been done so far is because those potential modders aren't sure of how to accomplish it currently. Also thanks for responding man, been a trend of that lately, that I haven't been getting a response, even though I've helped (or tried to) them more than I have you lol. -
How to rmoeve insibale light source above Geralt
Drone456 replied to curme's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Oh can you not actually delete a topic? I've only ever made one lol. That does suck, sorry man. -
How to rmoeve insibale light source above Geralt
Drone456 replied to curme's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
If I were you I would just rmoeve (sorry I couldn't help myself :D ) this topic, and re-submit it with a corrected title. It was really hard to understand what you wanted when I first read it. Up to you though man. Good luck on getting the self-illumination removed, a lot of games have it unfortunately. Not a big fan myself either. -
[MOD REQUEST] Witcher Hardcore
Drone456 replied to 1q2w3e1q2w3e's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Some of these I unfortunately have no clue on, and seen others ask for so hopefully they can get added. However there are a couple here that I can show you some mods that did these functions. Sorry, but what do you mean by this request? Since sprinting, and jumping (I believe) already take stamina. (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/449/?) He allows you to configure the health/damage of the enemies in the game, should allow you to balance it to your tastes. Or if you want some mods that already balance the game, just let me know. Also specifically on the wolves, and warg thing. Apparently the game does them differently from other enemies, since I've seen a couple modders talk about them being a challenge to change. The mod I linked allows you to change just them if you want I believe. I've seen some commands in the input.settings file that talk about "follow". Not sure if that's following an npc, or if it means following the road. Could be worth a shot checking this out perhaps, since it's only on horses that it's mentioned. Do you mean kind of like this? (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/730/?). He also talks about Friendly HUD doing this as well, so that might be worth checking out in addition since it also covers another one of your points further down. (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/365/?) - Friendly HUD This is specifically at the second one, but she might be open to the first one should you wish to request it from her. (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/750/?) Not exactly what you want, but don't really know of anything that does this unfortunately. (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/601/?) He has an autowalk feature that might work on boats, and then you can just type it in whenever you get into one. A note by the way on it, is that you have to start moving manually once you set it for it to take effect. Both the Preparation, and Friendly HUD mod that I linked a little bit up have this feature implemented. The Preparation mod even lets you craft your own campfire when you want as well. Alright hope that helps ya man, let me know if you need clarification on anything or something. -
The Witcher 3 Survival Mod [Request]
Drone456 replied to lurumagno's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
A couple mods that you might be interested in: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/488/? - Doesn't require you have to eat, but at least you can cook. http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/750/? - This way you feel like you have to scrounge a few more ingredients. Also adds some more immersion to the game. Also for any modders reading this, not sure if it's possible. But an idea for making you have to eat/sleep/drink as lurumagno requested, could potentially be having a separate invisible (or visibile if you can alter it's design) toxicity meter that slowly fills up unless you eat/sleep/drink. Since the game has a time system, it has a gradual toxicity system, and all 3 functions are in the game (sleep being meditate). I feel like there might be a chance of this being possible. To elaborate; so if you haven't eaten any food (chicken sandwhiches, apples, etc.) you will slowly become toxified, until eventually it reaches the maximum toxicity and you're poisoned (hungry). In which case you start to lose health, until you eat food. Each item of food could have differing levels of White Honey's anti-toxicity elements, thus "filling" you up. Don't know if this makes it sound at all more possible to anybody, but hopefully my suggestion gave to light new ways of approaching this, or sparked someone's imagination on how to tackle this particular dilemma. Because the game is ripe for this type of addition. -
Honestly I don't think it matters what version of the game you have. Since it's the same .exe used for either version, just one has a DRM layer (Steam) added onto it. Also the various files (.bundle, .ws, etc.), and the modkit should be independent of what version you own as well. I could however be wrong, but I am relatively confident that I am not. Evidenced even more by the fact that Nexus, and subsequently mod makers don't mention the version that their mod was made on/for. Nor has any game that has mods, that I've seen. The only exception to this I think would be Steam Workshop, since it would have to hook into Steam to download, unpack, add, update, etc. What specifically are you having trouble with? Since I'm not quite sure what you mean by "the mods .bin files". I too have the GoG version of the game, and have about 50-60 mods running with no currently perceived issues. Hopefully I can offer some type of assistance.

[Mod Request] switch camera
Drone456 replied to Fuz's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
I'm not quite sure if you're asking for either a mod which allows you to switch back and forth between "over the shoulder", and "centered". Or a mod that switches the game from being "over the shoulder" to just centered. So I'll paste links for both :) Shoulder Toggle: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/314/? -If you scroll down the optional files, you'll find it. Different Camera: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/689/? -This mod also allows you to customize the camera to your liking significantly easier than you might have been able to do. Hopefully one of those help man. -
Have you tried using this tool? (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/484/?). It should hopefully clean up any incompatibilities, and make any future headaches relating to this lessened. If you have any questions regarding the tool, I can try to answer here. Or you can maybe ask on the tool's page itself, AnotherSymbiote is pretty nice and helpful regarding questions. If you have used this tool, and there's still problems that can't be solved with this tool. Then my apologies, and I unfortunately can't help further :( Hopefully this does help you out though man.

[MOD REQUEST] Block/Parry Outside of Combat
Drone456 replied to chairmanxyz's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Ahh ok, sorry man. I got thrown by this line "More importantly combat-wise, it gets super annoying when you stray outside the [Combat] zone and into [Exploration] and thus despite archers still firing arrows at you, your block is disabled". I thought "I know exactly the mod to fix this!" Unfortunately then I am unable to assist you with this currently man, sorry. Good luck though :) -
[MOD REQUEST] Block/Parry Outside of Combat
Drone456 replied to chairmanxyz's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
This should be exactly what you're looking for: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/319/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fwitcher3%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D319%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Just go to files, and then optional files. Combat distance fix, is what you will want to grab. -
Hello potential solver, So my problem, is that I have Random Gameplay Tweaks' Closer Camera Exploring installed. Which seemingly disables the sprint camera from following behind Geralt/Ciri. I have tried modifying this myself, but haven't been 100% successful (got it to follow, but it was weird, such as being zoomed out, slow to adapt, etc.) Therefore I was hoping that somebody familiar with both this mod, and enabling this camera auto-center functionality might assist me. Since it is a massive inconvenience for a controller user that it doesn't do this, and I am not proficient enough to solve it myself. Before someone suggests asking the author for assistance. I had tried contacting the creator of Random Gameplay Tweaks about this originally, but I think my post might have got lost in the shuffle, or he was too busy. And I didn't want to spam his mod with this request, and assumed that someone would ask it again, or I would figure out my own fix. Unfortunately none of this really came to pass  Thanks for reading, and hopefully somebody can figure out a solution to my problem :D

[Help] Modding Mutagens
Drone456 replied to Ivarov's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Really wish I could help you wish this man. Unfortunately I just wanted to say, that I eagerly await your stack mod. Would make things a lot nicer/cleaner. Also I don't think this is particularly you "bundling it", I've seen multiple mods that seem to have troubles/eccentricities where mutagens are concerned. They seem to just be a problem item lol. Good luck man, and here's hoping you figure this out :D
