About a week in, it seems. I'm not really expecting it to be released that soon (and am hoping I won't have to wait until February. -_-), but I DO expect that now it actually IS January, and they said it would be RELEASED in January, that they'd actually say something about the release date. Or at the very least, a rough estimate that is more specific than one month.

Hehe, I half-figured that was what it was implying, but I didn't really want that. ._. Children-sidekicks would be awesome except for the fact that I'd feel rather creepy about it. Also, I thought that companions already leveled with the player- but I don't keep them around that often ATM.
-
I would actually kind of like to be the companion of the main character as opposed to actually being the main character. :3 I don't think that if one could be casually found, I don't think that they should be named as Dragonborn, but should have regular names or just generic NPC names like "Nord" or "Argonian", and you may be able to catch them shouting (which if you really wanted to take this far, you could confront/ask them about this like NPCs tend to do to you).

I would love this so much. I don't like having to choose between the one good dragon in the game's life and the Blades' support. :S Plus, the current base of theirs is pretty silly, and doesn't even vaguely look like it's at all inhabitable. Any improvements on any of this would certainly be awesome. It's a shame that voices are such a pain to deal with, though. :V

I felt REALLY guilty about killing him, and with continuous bad choices I ended up deleting the whole character. I like the blades a lot, but I REALLY hate the fact that I have to choose between their support or keeping the one dragon in the game that DIDN'T want me dead.
-
I personally get it, and I think it would be a pretty good idea.

I dunno if a crapton of other threads on this have been made, but I haven't found any and this one looks like it's been first. :P A lot of mods have been popping up, and I'm wondering if anyone's had any progress with this. Having a full-fledged adventureparty would be amazing if I could get it done. :P
-
I don't really hang around places much. :S Probably Whiterun, though. Always has what I need. :3
-
They basically said that the major holds were going to be a lot bigger, and the more minor ones would be in the open world. Both I'd say were disappointing to me, as the major ones didn't seem any bigger than the ones in Cyrodiil, and there were more of those. The minors I was VERY disappointed with- I wasn't expecting much in size, but there's hardly a place for me to even sell things!

Judging by how suddenly and randomly it ended, and the fact that the opposing team didn't really use bows at all, I'd have to say it was Delphine. How else can you form a treaty with the guards than to become one yourself? :3
-
I just got a letter of inheritance for Farengar's death. I didn't know he died in all that (nor did I know that he could die), and it saddens me as he was my go-to guy for all my magics. :c "While all the Jarl's court grieves with you on this day..." -The very court who killed him
-
Where to start? When I went into Whiterun a little bit ago, I was quickly dispatched by Delphine who probably was fed up with me having her follow me around (as Esbern suffers silently) as opposed to going where they want to go. Then I tried again, going to Dragonreach, where I saw something amazing happen. EVERYONE who wasn't a guard was attacking me, and the guards were on my side fighting off everything they swore to protect. ._. I saw them attacking Farengar, and as I turned around, the Jarl and Delphine (somehow I blame all of this on her) were attacking me, with Balgruuf's housecarl close behind. Even the children were caught in the crossfire. Delphine apparently had started a war against me, and the amazing power of the law has taken my side. And then there's the Jarl's amazing advisor who, probably being Delphine's partner in crime, is trying to dispatch me. THESE are the things that happen when I try to pick up my husband for an adventure. I have a pretty amazing life. Do these amazing things happen to anyone else? XD

You shouldn't abridge the actual link part. :P I've never found LoZ very entertaining. Skyrim definitely has my vote.
-
No towns are ever attacked by anything, but the place where my husband lives, Blackwater Crossing, is basically attacked by dragons every time I visit. :S
-
Never finished her, but she was fun to test shouts on. :3

It's the normal blue robe. The hood is the normal hood you can get at the VERY start. The hood blends itself with whatever robe you're wearing. I'm 99% sure it doesn't blend at all. ._.

Never had that happen before, or even heard of it. :S

Give us nightmare difficulty in 1.3 patch pls
Naikado2 replied to darkcreep's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well... 1. no fast travel- There is a mod for that. 2. horses dont help u fight- Just don't get a horse? o_O 3. dragons need to be way harder- I find them pretty freaking difficult as it is, but I'm sure there'll be a mod for that. 4. fix companion leveling with me- It's broken? And wouldn't them not leveling properly make the game harder? 5. give poison less dmg but let them stay on wepon longer- Then stick with weaker poisons. And for the latter part, there's a perk for that. 6. all spells leveling with me- They technically do, but for damage, there's a perk for that. 7. leveling health gives weapon damage, deasise resist and armor- Why would increased health improve your weapon damage? You are so silly. Also, armor doesn't seem right either. 8. leveling magica gives magic damge, magic resist and magic block(low percent of reflecting spell)- The reflecting spell part is ridiculous. Also, your magic damage is already going up with your skills, according to your suggestions, isn't it? 9. leveling stamina gives wepon speed, poison resist and chance to dodge- I'm pretty sure that the weapon speed part would get to be OP pretty quick. 10. more tactical play mobs and player get vulnerable to fire if they wear heavy armor- That would generally make sense, but I don't know if all the heavies are metallic. mobs and player get vulnerable to ice if they wear light armor- Even though light armor involves fur? mobs and player get vulnerable to electricity if they wear cloth armor- That just doesn't make any sense. warrior stone makes your hits also drain stamina and slows attack speed of your enemy + weapon damage each time u level up- The guardian stones are and should just be about the rate of skill increase. rogue stone makes your hits also drain magic and reduce magic damge of your enemy + weapon speed each time u level up- ^^ mage stone makes your spells drain health and reduce melee damage of your enemy + magic damage when u level up- ^^ 11. give all resistances cap at 70% (you cant get more, except if u are vampire or werewolf)- Bleh 12. give all starting characters -30% resistance to all schools of magic- Why? Just, why? 13. give exp for quests and keep exp for learning stuff- That would screw with the whole system and would kind of defeat the purpose of skills. 14. give mana reduction cap (u cant reduce mana cost on spells more then 70%)- Did you even suggest anything to lower magicka cost? What's wrong with how it is now? 15. remove potins which improve crafting skills- They're not very easy to come by, and aren't very effective. No reason for this. 16. sleepy reduce stats- Grammar please. Also, what defines "sleepy"? 17. hungry reduce stats- Same as above 18. limit potions use during fight on lets say 10 potions- The amount of potions you can consume is related to whether or not you're in combat? That doesn't make sense. 19. give potion drinking amimation during fights- So basically to use your health potions you have to stop and consume the potion while enemies can finish you off? I wouldn't even carry potions. 20. give poison aplaying to weapon animation during fights- I think it's pretty pointless. 21. let us have have doubble click side step which uses stamina to perform- What's the point? 22. enchanting cap- It does cap. Be specific. 23. blacksmithing cap- See above. 24. alchemy cap- See above. 25. way less gold from selling stuff- It's hard enough for me to come across money as it is. 26. costly crafting leveling- It already costs me quite a bit of money or time in most cases. 27. no ingredients in stores- That makes absolutely no sense. 28. make last boss so much hard that u will need to have all craftiing profesions maxed to beat him- That's pretty stupid 29. make last boss so much hard that u will need to have combat or magic maxed to beat him- ^^ 30. make creatures and dragons more vulnerable to one magic schools and more resistant to all others and we have to find out which- There's only one school that directly does damage. It would just be a pain. -
I'm pretty sure that there will be SOME aspect of the workshop that will be infuriatingly stupid. I think I'll be sticking with the Nexus.

I actually like the spell system in Skyrim. It feels a lot more equal to the other methods, as it actually occupies equipped positions as opposed to just being set apart to a special command. The spells grow more powerful as your skills with them do, and there are perks to make them grow further. No spells I've seen so far act the same way (besides spells like wards, which can really only differ in power). Also, few spells truly become "obsolete" as most of them still have their advantages long after you advance to further spells in their area. In Oblivion, you just had a handful of effects, and the spells have no differentiation besides a few meager stats. I'd definitely say that Skyrim's magic update was nothing less than a much needed improvement.

Typical street cat trash. You are the worst of the races of Tamriel. Your people act as if its your...litter box, spreading your stolen goods, ill-earned coin, and expecting to be treated with the same respect as a Nord. We'll drive you back to your deserts, and then we will drive you from Tamriel. How rude, and after all the favors we've done for you, killing imperials for you, even going so far as to deal a massive blow against the empire. And besides, you know we have a common goal. To drive the thalmor off Tamriel. Our litter box, you say? That's a little harsh, after all, we wouldn't have resorted to smuggling skooma and moon sugar, or stealing goods if you had allowed us to sell our legally-earned goods in the cities. Your people are little better than the Thalmor. You bring your family destroying drugs into our lands, and drain true Nords of their coin through the use of your silver tongue. I say we cut the tongue from the beast, and make a new coat. AND HA HA! Let your people into our cities willingly?! That is the same as allowing a thief into our purses or a dagger to our throats. Perhaps your greatest problem, then, is your paranoia. The only reason you've survived this long, it seems, is that your people lash out at anything that didn't either feed you milk or feed you money. How could you possibly spread out two inches, much less across the lands?
-
Actually, yes. I'm an Argonian that hates both the Empire and Stormcloaks. I only like the Thalmor because they have tasty livers. Typical disgusting lizard. Crawl back to your marsh, scum. Hating on us lizards, are we? Don't lump us together with those stinking elves. The Nords can't win on their own. Ha! Rely on you for aid? You would just as soon stab us in the back for a little bit of coin. No, you will work on our fields and at our docks for little to no pay. Then, after we've finished off the Elves, we'll deal with you. That's what they said in back in Morrowind. Look who's in charge of those elves now? An invasion after the eruption of Red Mountain shows the true cowardice of the Argonians. Do not think we will take honorless swine into our ranks. We will win the fight against the Mer as TRUE NORDS! It was the Hist that lead us to attack when we did. Who are we to complain when such ancient forces are to predict and decide? Foolish Argonian! Do not use your peoples' ignorance as a scapegoat for your cowardice and heresy! You forsake the Divines with your heretical following of the Hist! Your people will learn that the Nords were meant to rule Tamriel! I support the divines more than most of beastfolk, mer and even men. I wasn't even alive during the eruption, but I know that heretical imaginations can't predict the future. YOUR people will be quick to learn that there is only blood and tears for those with ambitionistic arrogance. HA! Tell that to the great Talos! A true Nord! YOUR people will be quick to learn that this world is for the Nords, and all else will either bend knee or FALL! If the great gods of balance and staticity are to turn their backs on us out of petty preferences for your big-nosed, pretentious, order-hating masses, then may dragons take you all.

In a sex appeal fashion, the current elves are MUCH worse. Otherwise, though, they offer a lot of differentiation from the regular races of men, which I think is something of an improvement.

How long did it take you to beat the game
Naikado2 replied to bubbafriend's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
In the time that I've actually put into the main quest line, it was probably about 5 hours. Perhaps... 30-40 otherwise. -
