  1. Try this mod, it's one I always use. Pip-Boy Flashlight (Pipboy - Power Armor - Lamp Overhaul)
  2. I posted this almost a year ago, now someone is making Fallout: Nuevo Mexico as a mod for FONV. SAWEET
  3. I figured that something like this was going to end up happening, so I uninstalled all of my mods and did a fresh install of the game. And I'm being selective of the mods I'm re-installing, to make sure they aren't something that will conflict with the new update. I'm obviously having to leave out anything F4SE-related, but I'm also leaving out anything Enclave-related, things that change the graphics, or anything else that might affect it. What is upsetting to me is that besides the new content, all of the free stuff they are offering now I have already paid for. I already have around half of the Creation Club content. As I said in another post "I wouldn't mind completing my Pipboy color scheme collection." Some free CC credits would've been nice. And I wanted RTX functionality, that would've been awesome.
  4. ianpatt stated on the F4SE comments Page; "The 2024-04-25 Fallout 4 update (1.10.980 and later) has broken F4SE and the rest of the native code modding scene similarly to Skyrim's "Anniversary Edition" patch. I am working on an update and cannot currently offer a timeline for its availability, nor whether there will be any critical technical issues that would block an update. If not obvious already, this one is going to take much longer than normal. Do not email with questions. Thank you for all of the support! I assume people would rather have me working on the update than making individual responses, but in general thanks for the nice words and support."
  5. There are 3 files that have to be deleted, CC - main.ba2, CC - texture.ba2, and CC.esl. Go into File Explorer and go to the drive you have FO4 installed in, then navigate to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data to delete them. I don't know about the new free mods, but you can do it too everything else. If you wanted to delete the Hellfire power armor as an example: ccBGSFO4044-HellfirePowerArmor - Main.ba2 ccBGSFO4044-HellfirePowerArmor - Textures.ba2 ccBGSFO4044-HellfirePowerArmor.esl You would delete all of those. I can be patient on the F4SE thing, the mods I consider most important don't need it. I'm basically just losing MCM functionality. I'm upset that some of the CC content I paid for is free, without giving me CC credits or something similar. I already have about half of the CC content anyway. I wouldn't mind extra credits to finish my "Pip-Boy color schemes" collection.
  6. I use the Prewar Binoculars mod by a_blind_man https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17819 with the Fire Support Addon by Sars99 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/48809 Just sight in and call for fire like a real Redleg. I'll see about making a mod to alter the grenades though, smoke grenades only make a hissing noise IRL, so it should be set on quiet for immersion.
  7. Have know idea what happened to the User or Mod, but sounds like a site violation and subsequent banning. As for a replacement, I use First Person Viewable Items by gamefever https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26062
  8. I think I can do it. I'm currently working on a simple Mod that adds combat armor and the CC Army paints to the outfits and weapons of the Soldiers that lead you to Vault 111 during the intro to the game. It should be as simple as inserting your file into the zip and changing the references in the ESP. Make sure to save it under a different name than the default file.
  9. Libertalia Militia, they raid to provide for the town as well as defend it. This is a great idea, especially if a quest was worked in. You can clear them out as raiders, or re-integrate them into the Minutemen. Or a faction for SIM Settlements Conquer. or both...
  10. I was thinking, Albuquerque New Mexico would be the perfect location for a Fallout game. Not to far from Roswell (1960s Alien crash landing), and White Sands (Where the first Nukes were tested). It has rampant drug and corruption problems (Breaking Bad was almost a mockumentary). It's got UNM, Sandia Nuclear Labs, Kirtland AFB, and multiple casinos one of which has a race track. And did I mention it's on Route 66. Oh, and it's on the fringe of NCR territory... It would be perfect for the creation of an all new story. Of course I have no skills at creating mods. Though I would be able to help on consulting, and even maybe voice acting. My CV Resident of Albuquerque Combat Veteran I have a good level of knowledge on Fallout Lore I'm told I have a nice voice (for the voice acting bit)
  11. I really love the , https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/53299?tab=description, but I want to make a patch so that it starts after re-taking the Castle for immersion purposes. I don't know how to make the patch myself, and was wondering if someone could teach me?
