  1. New game engine please, not that shitty Win XP age crap. The rest will be fixed by moders.
  2. I`am a God. I weld lands together and change them for better, I spawn humans and beasts from nothing but air, I start wars and build cities, I give intelligence to all living and all dead though nothing will ever reach my greatness. Unfortunately I never succeed. For the most part My worlds are failed - they crash by My foolish mistakes. No God is perfect, unfortunately same could be told about Me. I`m getting better though and soon I`ll be able to build the perfect world for Myself to live in and forget all this madness.
  3. The game needs a new engine, every other game puts Skyrim tech side to shame. Animations are godawful, models are blocky, everything is pretty much small in scale - villages with 7 huts and 5 people with two chickens to keep them company. I want huge cities with a lot of citizens. A lot more random encounters, without mods Skyrim feels empty. Take a look at Witcher 3, it looks simply amazing. Bethesda has to step up their game and bring out something comparable for F4 and later on for TES VI.
  4. For that rez and texture mods you`ll need something with at least 3Gb of vRAM.
  5. I usually play females in MMO`s because I prefer to dress up women instead of guys. Especially because of the 3rd person view. In Skyrim I`m undecided as this game contains some RP elements specific to gender and it`s primarly in 1st person view. In Mass Effect games I always play male because there you can really identify with Shepard. But in Skyrim and MMOs with mute characters, it doesn`t really matter that much. It`s way more interesting to dress up a woman than a guy. This is pretty much true - "I don't want to stare at a guy's butt when I play".
  6. GTX780 is soon to come out, I would definitely take that as it will cover both Skyrim and the newest games for quite some time.
  7. Immersive armors includes a bunch of light armor, you could also retexture the vanilla armors with great mods like Book of Silence.
  8. This makes me think about why there aren`t more stories like this. Maybe Skyrim isn`t sandboxy enough for sufficiently unique experiences?
  9. You are right, following this tutorial helped me to fix the problem. http://www.creationkit.com/Dark_Face_Bug
  10. Bump. The problem still persists after a full reinstall and without any body mods.
  11. I have a wierd bug that I can`t seem to be able to fix. The neck seam as seen in the pick bellow shows up only on Immersive Patrols mod spawned NPCs - Stormcloaks, Imperials, Commoners, etc... All the Vanilla characters are fine. The problem also afflicts both male and women. The only texture mods for NPCs I`m using are UNP+Mature skin retex and Better Males - Vanilla Underwear. I do have a lot of other mods - 200+ total, but changing load order doesn`t help at all. I used Wrye Bash for installing. Haven`t yet cleaned mods with TES5EDIT because I`m still testing the new mod setup, so far this is the only problem I`am getting. EDIT: Attached my load order. EDIT #2: Cleaned all the dirty mods. Didn`t help. Also created merged patch with TES5EDIT as per Sharlikan`s video. AS the problem still persits, I will probably go through all the mods I have installed and double check to compatabilities, neccesities and descriptions in general.
  12. SkyUI - essential for everyone playing Skyrim on PC. Immersive HUD - basically makes the HUD go away when you do not need it, totally interactive and configureable. Immersive armors - adds a bunch of lore friendly armors to the game. Immersive weapons - adds a bunch of lore friendly weapons to the game. Immersive patrols - for random encounters, makes the world alive. Skyrim Immersive Creatures - a new mod that adds a bunch of monsters to fight with new looks and all that jazz, really well done. There`s also a hardcore lore friendly version without some of the new creatures. Warzones: Civil Unrest - Adds a real civil war in Skyrim which is the core of the lore but never showed up in vanilla. Deadly combat - for better melee combat mechanics. ACE - archery module for better archery. ASIS - I can`t recommend this enoguh, ASIS makes enemies more intelligent, they use potions, spells, etc. If your PC can handle it I highly recommend using an ENB mod. Also this is a decent mods list: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2946388
  13. Thanks a lot Clawdius, I`ll definitely check out all those mods.
  14. Hi! I bought Skyrim shortly after it`s release but I never really got around playing it due to time shortage and frankly speaking vanilla Skyrim (just like any other Bethesda game) is just plain boring. But now I feel that this is a good time to start playing Skyrim with such a great amount of mods being available. Right now i`m trying to figure out which gameplay overhauls to use and it seems that the Requiem and SkyRe are the most popular around. So which one do you use and why? (feel free to tell me about any other good overhaul mods out there if there are any)
  15. I too am looking for a realistic overhaul mod that would fit my needs and so far Requiem looks quite good though it may be too hardcore. What`s left is just testing it out.
