I don't think my wryebash is working?
mccrab replied to tawney's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
If you don't want to see a mod in game you have to disable it also. Either with Oblivion launcher or Wrye bash. -
I see my map... in the grass... - HOLY GOD OF GLITCHES
mccrab replied to JadeStoneX's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
That is caused by shaders not working properly. Official Oblivion shaders http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20348 -
I had the same problem and somehow solved it by first making very small piece of land and then saving. Then increse its size and save as many times as needed to make it the size you want it to be. If it still crashes you could always raise the land with Landscape editor.

If you have installed a map mod with .esp (for example colored map for elsweyr) file try putting it last in your load order. For me the Elsweyr map caused the same but loading it last helps.

If I remember correctly that is caused by shaders not working properly or missing. You can find the original shaders here. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20348

One mod I use to store my weapons and other stuff is armory lab. It has a lot of containers, display cases and mannequins. If you know how to use the construction set you can add more containers yourself.

Problem Running Wyre Bash Launcher!
mccrab replied to arcticking's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Did you install just python or wrye python? Wrye python is need for Wrye Bash to work and it can be found in tesnexus. If you have installed wrye python I don't know how to solve that problem. -
when you open OBMM you can see you load order on the left side of the window. You can change load order by clicking a mod and then move up or move down on the lower left corner of the OBMM window. Did it start to crash after installing a mod? Which mods do you run when Oblivion crashes?

Grass on land is replaced with a picture of the map?
mccrab replied to might255's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
I think it is caused by broken shaders. You can find the offical shaders here. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20348 -
the CheydinhalHouseMiddle04 is the one you see when walking outside. The one with Interior at the end is only the interior for the house. This site has much information about using CS. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Main_Page

Convert mod files to a OMOD file possible?
mccrab replied to vaikos's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
This tutorial should explain everything about making OMODs http://lhammonds.game-host.org/obmm/tutorial_create_omod.asp -
There is a mod called Automated weapon racks resource http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13690. You still need to add then in game using cs. When you place a weapon in the container the weapon is placed automaticly on the rack.

Well LHammonds managed to answer first and the tutorial is pretty much the way I do it.
