  1. I am looking for ideas or ways to have a customizable onscreen counter for how many gold ingots are in a given cell or area. I also need to know how many gold ingots can ever possibly exist on screen and or in a cell at any given time.
  2. I am immediately regretting my renewal of premium. This site is laggy and full of broken features.
  3. afaik the site has been "unstable" since 2012.
  4. Yes, Forced PAE kernel though. Skyrim is not capable of using more than 4GB of ram at any given time so having a 64 bit OS isn't necessary. I just didn't know it was so bad of a console port that I needed to use that command for the engine to properly use my resources. I can have 5 processes running at once each using at max, 4 GB of ram. The only benefit of 64 bit is processes can use more than that at a time.
  5. /set IncreaseUserVa 3072 The above command resolved my issues in their entirety.
  6. Replaced the Card AND the RAM. Skyrim still hangs my pc, sometimes I see rainbow bricks in the sky and often the physics freaks out and flies all over the place. When I have the money I am going to buy a new Mobo and CPU and just build from ground up. Skyrim is the only thing I have any problems with atm.
  7. They are cross shipping for me. The current card is actually causing the entire system to hang when playing skyrim. It's definitely the card. Thank you everybody who has provided assistance, when the new card comes and I start making videos again I will cite you guys as well as this community. Update: The card arrives on monday. I have noticed a gradual deterioration in overall video stability including BDoDs that have video specific error codes. Skyrim also randomly turns whacky with rainbow colored geometry. This card is on it's way out.
  8. The likely-hood of the problem being my video card is rather high given the circumstances. The problem DID start the day I installed the brand new card.We have ruled out pretty much everything else that it could be. Unfortunately, I am probably way past my RMA period. Even if I could still RMA it I would need a card and I don't exactly have money to burn atm. They would have to send me a card and I would send them the old one or something.
  9. I used the LAA program on the skyrim exe (I know its supposed to already be LAA). This resulted in better performance and it allowed me to use the midi weapon and armor textures without any crashing. I was able to zip around the map with console commands and not a single crash. Then, I figured hey I must have fixed it. Then I installed the skyrim HD 2k textures and now anytime I go near a town I crash. Perplexing... The odd thing is that according to skyrim performance monitor I am not crashing during he peak of any given resources utilization. I am crashing when entering a new cell or after spinning around, etc.
  10. So far after removing the "MidianBorn" Textures I have had no crashes. Real shame I love those.
  11. <p>my monitor runs 120 hz... But I frame limit skyrim to 60 fps.</p> <p> </p> <p>Also as nice as skyrim script extender is it seems to not work when I have xsplit running...</p> <p> </p> <p>GEEER how do I get rid of SKSE?</p>
  12. Well even with that it still crashes from time to time. The ONLY way to reduce the crashing significantly is to remove midiborns weapon and armor textures. and set the resolution to windowed 720p. The real crux of this mystery is that with the SAME computer but a different video card (560Ti Boost), everything ran WAY better. The confusing aspect is that no matter what skyrim does not LAG or go below 60 FPS with my 690. I can set the shadow resolution really high and the only thing that will happen is an instant CTD. So performance wise there is no real issue with frames per second. The issue is the constant CTDs. I honestly can't think of what could be wrong. It's very frustrating to me. Expecting this 1thousand dollar card to be good with skyrim. Buying $800.00 overkill cards does not change the laws of physics... What resolution monitor /display ? What is the refresh rate ? (You are bound by this reality...) You might want to review this thread.... http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/999432-skyrim-vram-usage/ You will need to edit your SLI profiles... It may or may not help. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2625 The monitor and Refresh rate had not changed between the time when skyrim worked well and when it started CTDing. The only thing that changed was a video card.

  14. Update: I tried tweaking the settings. Still no difference. This game WILL NOT run in full screen or high resolutions for very long no matter what I do. Refresher of Things ruled out - It's Not The Game Files (I have fresh installed/Validated etc 3 times now) It's Not The ini Files (I have tried defaults on all of them) It's Not The Mods or Plugins ( I have tried fresh saves with no plugins of any kinds) It's Not The Video Card (I can run Metro Last Light on MAX settings with NO Lag) Keep in mind this problem occurred when I first installed my Video Card a year ago. Which was the original reason for me uninstalling the game.
