Please help. I have read the help in Vortex but I can't find how to install a mod from another site. The Site being Lovers lab. I have downloaded the file to my computer but it won't take folders only files. The mod I am trying to download is "SOS light verson with Tempered skins for Males SSE. I tried putting the URL of the download twice but it would not accept it. I would apricate any help. Thank you.

Thank you for your advise. I realize that overwrite does, but I use Sim Settlements and the mod author is always posting updates. With NMM I would just download it and hit Loot and it worked fine. With Vortex I was getting conflict so I tried to fix it and being a novice I did it wrong because some of my files where deleted, and that is when my problems came from. Someone mentions my high number of conflicts that is caused by updates and texture body mods. Thank you everybody for you input.

I thought that Vortex was going to make installing mods easy. I just transfered from NMM and I have 56 conflicts and I don't feel like sitting here for hours trying to work it out. I read the Doc. still don't understand it. Call me stupid but I play games for enjoyment not to sit here for hours trying to sort out conflicts. When you get as old as me time is precious. Going back to NMM I hope. I will keep an eye out and when all you have to do is press the install button and Vortex sorts it out, I will be back. PS Uninstalled Vortex and went back to NMM and my body mod is not working properly and Sim Settlement is not looking correct in some places. Might have to stop playing Fallout 4 for a while don't feel like reinstalling all my mods. Thanks Vortex.

I can't enter the Hall of Valor. When I go to the door I get the message Requires a Key. I have defeated Tsun and he has said "Shors favour has found you friend". I have tried 3 times, I have gone back to the beginning of the quest but no luck. This is my fifth play through and I have never had this problem before. Any hints on how to get through the door? I would appreciate any help please.

Instead of complaining about something that Dark0ne an his staff are working very hard to fix why don't you help by becoming a supporter or better still paying to become Premium member that way The Dark0ne might be able to hire more staff to help in a crises such as this. Becoming a Premium member does not cost much, I am a pensioner and I like to pay my way. Why don't you give it try and stop complaining.

I have played Skyrim a number of times with different races. The last time I had trouble with the house quest at Riften and Solitude. I am at the court and the bloke from Dragon bridge just stands there, tried pushing him nothing works. Same thing happened last play through. So to get rid of the bugs I unstalled the game first I removed all Mods as instructed by the mod authors. Reinstalled the game and only installed mods that I could not live with out. As I said I am having the same trouble again. Is any one else having these problems and is there any way around them. I would appreciate any help.

Can anyone help ? I have been trying for days to call Miraac's dragon , I have been into Waking Dreams and collected 4 books , I have since collected 7 black books that change your stats. My problem is that when I go back through Waking Dreams, I find myself in an area where there are 5 book stands I put a book on 4 of them and the arrow points to the centre stand but I do not have a book for it . I have gone into all other sections and used the Bend Will shout but nothing happens . Can anyone tell what I can do to get to Miraac to kill him ? Help would be much apriciated thank you. JOY

I am trying to float up in Neloth's tower. When I press E to float up I start to and then the key just don't work, I can still access the menu keys. I tried in 3rd Person and I start to move up and drop back to the ground. I use the belts to carry extra weight so I checked my weight and I am only carrying 300. I have a lot off mods installed and don't wish to uninstall them. Another question I have killed two dragons since I have arrived and I don't take their soul. Is that normal? Please can anyone help.

Can you adopt more than two children? For example if you build more one property can you put two children in each property.

I have just spent 4 hours trying to focus the crystal in the Oculory I have used the hot and cold spells moved the rings nothing happens spoke to the wizard a couple of times and he just keep repeating the same thing use hot and cold to focus the Crystal. HELP!!

The only thing on the bottom left corner is the Skyrim logo. Does that mean that my game has no updates. If this is so I might just leave it like that after reading all the problems people are having with updates. Thanks for a quick reply

I am trying to find what version of Skyrim I have. Would some kind person tell me where to look. Thank you
