Update: 10/23/2013: Ok, The Base android perk is now a TRAIT. You can use it or not. (Just like all the other perks and classes are optional.) My idea: To replace the Doctor's bag: Crafting a item with: Doctor's Bag + Scrap Eletronics + Sensor module. Stimpak: 5x Stimpak + 1 Scrap Eletronics = 5 Nanorobots Stimpak. Or something like that. -

Thanks :smile: ------------------ Some people have been complaining that it is too "Overpower" race. But think about it: It's a robot! You wanted a robot take one shot and dismount as a pieces of LEGO? Ok! Just remembering. Robots in Fallout 3, which are my inspiration to make this system (Harkness and Armitage), they are made to look like humans, they use food, sleep, simulate pain, etc.. If you use food and think you are human (Armitage) they have food system to synthesize and generate emotions etc.. Because of this and to avoid drastic changes in the game, I did not change the basic principles of food and stimpaks in the game, but with the bonus reduced to half or less. About the perks, at the beginning of the game, you will be asked: if you want, or not the perks of classes. You can just ignore it and play normally. Some people enjoy the game more difficult, some players do not, and so on. http://i.imgur.com/FgSLGcs.jpg And if you still thinking a robot that does not need to eat and sleep, have resistance, but is weak against energy, is overpowered, well, honestly? I'm sorry, but do not play with the race. Want to leave a suggestion? Just comment here and I will reply as soon as possible. -

I'm having difficulty to know how the Sneak system works in the fallout... Is there a global variable that defines when the player is: "Hidden" or "Caution" or "Danger"? Or some way to detect it and save to a variable, ex: Hidden = 1Caution = 2Danger = 3

indeed has no other way. It's a shame :( I thought about using SetUIString but there is no "GetUIString"... then there is no way. Thanks for the reply =) -
We all know that in the Geck script we can store informations in variables, like short, ref, float... but strings... :sad: In C++ i can make a string: string Var; Var = "Hello World"; But in the geck i cant do this :sad: My idea is to use a string to determine a folder in the command SwapTexture in order to save line and avoid bugs, because are more than 200 different textures and more than 600 conditions to be analyzed... What I need: short Var1 Short Var2 String StringVar ;--------------------------------------------------- Set Var1 to 5 Set Var2 to 15 SetString StringVar to "characters\DaughtersofAres\Spine\%g\%g" Var1 Var2 ; The result: characters\DaughtersofAres\Spine\5\15 ; And in the SwapTexture: SwapTexture REF "NiTriShape" GetString StringVar ;Or something like that. I think it probably has no way, but is there any alternative to work with strings in variables you can modify in the script and use on command when you want?

:D:D:D:D It worked perfectly! Modified only a detail, I did not created a new script, but added in a script that checks which armor the player is wearing. Only adapted in it, it worked perfectly and gave me new ideas. Thanks for everything!

Is there any way of setting up a script to detect if a follower is using some item? Because, I need a Ref to use the command: "ref.GetEquippedObject id" I could use the references of each follower, but I want to make the script compatible with all followers, including other mods ... any suggestions? Or I have to use variable for each follower and create compatibility patches for other mods? Explaining my problem here:

I've been following your mod and loved the idea. I'm developing an Android race in final stage now and this new Hud will be perfect for her! My android is my first mod too, hard work! :D. Well, I wish you good luck with the development.

They're all sub-perks, and optional. You don't need to play with then, neither the class. You can just ignore everything. :) -

I'm working on a system of classes for the race. The player can choose between 4 options. If none are good for you, you can just ignore and continue playing normally. Before adding to the mod, I would like a more open view on the subject. Each class will have their unique perks, skills, upgrade options, etc.. -

Change Energy Resistance

I'm a little confused here in geck how to make a perk that reduces the resistance to energy. Pulse Grenades, energy weapons etc, resistance to energy in general. Could someone give me a light? :D

Ok, Little changes: I noticed after several tests, that with 5 colors, the system does not load all of them. Maximum 3 colors are loaded. In the fourth color happens a small lag. So the mod will be continued with only 3 colors, Green, Yellow and Red. All transitions are instantaneous. And I didn't figured out how to change the eye texture/color with the new system. Please, send me a PM if you think you can help me, please :D Sorry about the small problem, but it is to let the mod flowing better. ---- Update 2.1: * Only 3 colors for better performance. * The script detect when change the armor, so it will change the armor color too * The script detect when load the game to change the color to match the current HP. * Updated refresh rate to avoid small bugs. It's done, playable, But I'm waiting for the new body that DizzasterJuice is making. Then, i'll release the open beta with at minimum 15 perks and 50 armors. If you have a armor (T6M) or accessory mod and want it to be available in the release of the mod, please send a PM, I will be very happy! =D -

09/16/2013 Script update: The transition of colors has a small lag, like 0.3 secs for the first time. To fix it, the script will now change all the colors when you enter the game. It takes 5 secs and when it's done, you will see the message: "Android Scripts Loaded", Then, all transitions will be instantly, because the new color was loaded in the RAM. I'm really excited with the new system! :D And for your happiness: Once I finished this version, i'll release a open beta :smile: I created a short video showing how it works. Unedited, poorly made, just for example. When I get more free time, I'll make a better video. -
