If steam goes defunct, then the world of gaming is royally screwed and there is bigger problems to deal with. Like seriously. I'll call dibs on end of the world if Steam dies. you should be able to play without a internet connection. I've had no problems playing video games without an internet connection. During internet outages I tended to play my RPG games that are on my steam account.

nothing funky for me. Though I had to adjust my performance settings a tad bit when the patch happened. I would recommend tweaking graphic settings if you are getting lag.

Do the main quest for a bit, then you'll encounter them like the plague.

Dragons should stumble everything in 10 feet radius when they land. (10 ton lizards...) They also should be immune to shield bash from the main character or guards. I would like it if they picked up things and dropped them more often. (guards etc) Ability to throw guards or you around via biting or tail/wing hits. Could use that shout the undead use to fling you around etc.

You could just use the silver hands to fight both groups. They are monster hunters afterall.

agreed, my sword/shield heavy armor chick had to switch to a bow as well. I was facing three fire mages at once. There was no way I could get up close. I ended dying about 20 times before I was able to defeat them. My main problem was that they wouldn't chase me as far as I wanted to back to an area that had oil on the ground. I ended up just shifting back forth in out and out of cover shooting my bow. Luckily for me, I never got rid of all my arrows, so I had about 3k of them and used them untrained. It took me about 200 steel arrows and a ton of potions to defeat them.

Hell yeah! that's the one thing I think is the biggest downside to Nax, is that he doesn't have sean connery's voice, if he did, I don't think anyone would be able to kill him. He actually seems to be inspired from the movie, dragonheart. Except adapted to the lore, but I see the nod towards it. Paart wouldn't give his heart to some stupid kid. more talking about his philosophy and mannerisms.

I would think it was more of a wrong place - wrong time. On the carriage it seems to imply that you were the at the ambush that took place at Ulric storm-cloak, so most likely, imperial soldiers just tackled you to the ground and knocked you out. Later you wake up. Sure you don't' "remember" anything but the game isn't required to give you that memory. Your storyline is that you were trying to get back into skyrim by illegally crossing the border. You happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. However did the divine or talo's put you there? who knows. He could have motivated you into there. They spoke of origins since you were never asked really. I Think the main imperial province came up once, so perhaps your from that area. I find it funny tho about becoming all the champions of these lords. It's much like becoming the thane of all 9 holds and your like... wow, just wow. How am I suppose to be the thane of all 9 holds? o_O

Really it does not matter, as it will be the same story regardless, the only difference being whether you have imperials or storm-cloaks siding with you. That will probably be the only difference with a few minor changes in locations etc. Otherwise, everything can be kept the same.

while your at it, can you reduce the "yes dears" lines so that the characters regular idle chat shows up? That would be terrific if that could happen.

I'm sure some of you have recently played the SWTOR beta. I would like it if you could toggle your map on and be able to move at the same time. Like it goes semi-transparent. That would be very useful feature.
