Ugh I should have known it was windows. Is there a way to fix it or am I stuck?

And I can't try manually changing load order because the blasted "files changed outside vortex" will come up again and stop everything

And in addition to this, I now have the pink face bug with FCO and the black chest bug with Robert's body, in spite of NEITHER of these appearing before. Could someone please help? I'm at my wit's end.

So I got sick of always downloading my mods from the nexus every time I reinstalled new vegas and put them all on a usb drive. But, when I try to use vortex to put in some new mods after installing his way, it gives me the message "mod files changed outside of vortex" and every time I hit apply, which,logically, should keep the changes, it gets rid of a bunch of the masters and files I need. This is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. How can I make it stop? This means I cannot even use Vortex anymore since, every, single, time, it will always give me that message even if I'm trying to manage a different game. It even gets rid of new vegas script extender for some unknowable reason

So I had amazing follower tweaks installed, as in, years ago. I have since uninstalled it, got a new computer, and installed a clean vanilla version of skyrim onto said computer. I have mods, but AFT is NOT one of them. And yet, when I go to dismiss a follower, I still get the "Okay...I'll head back to my dead family if you need me..." *sob* dialogue! This is incredibly annoying! Is this dialogue added by some other mod!? Please help!

So I had installed Gophers excellent war fomod properly, following all the steps, and it worked great. Then I installed the Weapon Retexture Project, and, for some reason, got a bug that, when I draw a pistol, it briefly goes to the vanilla holding animation before going to the gunslinger position, which I have installed, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't doing that before. Is there a way to fix this?

On my less than year old brand new laptop, when I am playing any game and rotate the camera, bright lights or bright surfaces leave behind an ugly, noticeable black blur. it even happens in browsers. Reducing the refresh rate from 144 hz to 60 helps somewhat. Switching graphics cards does nothing. It does not show up when I connect to an external display. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm at my whits end.

Bumping with an update. I've tried putting it at the bottom of my load order and disabling the racemenu mod, since that also effects faces, but nothing.

I have the special edition version of the mod five o'clock shadow installed, but the beard refuses to grow past a certain,fairly early point. Also, the moustache portion floats off the face at certain stages of growth. Does anyone know a fix?

I've noticed that when I add a new mod, it doesn't show up in the mod configuration menu until I start a new game. Is this intentional or is there something I can do to fix it?

So I just installed vortex. I did a quick scan in order to start using mods for skyrim special edition. The quick scan came back with no games found. I click full scan, the bar starts...and then immediately stops with no message. I tried adding the directory path manually, but that solved nothing and the problem persists. Does anyone have any solutions?

To give a bit more background, this happens after hours of playing. And then if I restart the game it happens within minutes. Restarting my computer usually pushes the problem back another few hours.

So from time to time Skyrim just randomly crashes to the desktop. No noise, no warning, no error message, nothing. Hello, all, and I hope whoever reads this is having a lovely day. All I really need is what I sincerely hope is a simple bugfix. You see, whenever I attempt to do the marriage quest, it simply stops at the part where you wait until the next day to attend the wedding. I wait for days and the quest neither advances, nor fails. I suppose what I am asking for is a mod that disables the wait until the next day bit, and makes it go straight into the ceremony, or something that forces the ceremony to commence. I posted about this in the tech support section and no one had an answer for it, so this is really my last hope. Cheers!

Okay, so I get the amulet of Mara, get Jenassa to agree to marry me. I then talk to Maramel and he says "your wedding will take place tomorrow" and all that jazz. And then...nothing. The rest of the quest never, ever triggers. I have no idea why. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am, of course, using mods.

So I use the player size adjuster mod. (I'm quite a tall individual, so it helps me to make my characters taller.) The problem-the Dawnguard Armor, the sleeveless version, has an annoying glitch in first person. When I make my character tall-the taller they are, the more apparrent the glitch-and look down, I can see a broad, dark-ish line of ugly texture. This is the armor showing up in first person. This happens with NO other armor. Does anyone know of/have an idea for a fix for this? Thank you, and I appreciate your time in advance.

I'll try setstage 250 to finish the quest and see what happens, I suppose.

Alright, so I go to Solitude to start up the Man Who Cried Wolf quest, only...no Varnius Junius in the Blue Palace. Nowhere-I've looked up, down, and around, but the little shifter can't be found. Is there anyone out there that can help a poor soul?

That moment when, after coming back to Skyrim after a few months, it CTDs with no explanation. -_- Will try BOSS...thought I had all the kinks worked out.

I would like to request what I believe will be a fairly simple mod. I have the pipe smoking mod, but I would like one that has both pipes and cigars. Also, I do not need animation, just the object in the mouth, with smoke coming from it is quite enough. :) Thank you for your time
