  1. Hi folks, I've SOLVED this on my install. Thanks for the heads up, I started looking for fonts not displaying correctly. In this folder.. \Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Interface\translations\ I could see 2x English text files, (only 1x of each of the others, 1x French etc) CharacterMakingExtender_english_ CharacterMakingExtender_english One of them is pure English, the other is English and forgive me if I'm wrong, Chinese/English. It's awesome we have Chinese players enjoying Skyrim, a lot of good content comes from them. What I did was in the translations folder, I created a folder called BAK (so I could go backwards!) I dragged this English notepad file into it. CharacterMakingExtender_english This left the following in the translations folder... CharacterMakingExtender_english_ I renamed this file to .. CharacterMakingExtender_english NOTICE the suffix _ has been removed, I saved it as-is. Restarted SkyrimSE, created a new character and my Character maker extender menus are all in English, and no boxes. I hope this helps someone out there, have a great day, regards , Wolf Yes all of my Skyrim and Skyrim SE are full English, and fully legit from Steam :)
  2. Hi Dark0ne, thank you for taking the time to explain all of this. Personally for me, I have used the Nexus for some years, had a massive gameplay experience boost for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. I'm happily a premium member with lifetime access to support the site. In comparison a small amount of money for so much in return over the years! When I have the skills I will be adding some mods to Skyrim, my few simple mods for Oblivion were welcomed and endorsed. So you have discussed your ideas for generating funding, and the improvements, avoiding ads with annoying loud music, excessive tracking and spybots would encourage more support for them. Moving adult rated mods to supporter/premium access only will soon generate funding! Limiting downloads per month for non supporters should also come in, I'm sorry if you have a internet access, a pc capable of playing Skyrim and adding mods, you can cough up a quid! In addition why not develop a new status tier, a gold star rating for mod creators, the more rated and endorsed mods they have- then the more stars they receive, this would be for their contributions to the community. Special ackowledgment to Nexus only mods should be given. Now add a requirement of a quid to access the 5 star rated stuff, supporters will have access to these top mods. Premium members get the new mods and updates a little earlier than non supporters as a thanks. And a new tier of VIP to come in, they get access to something in addition to their normal premium service, a special logo, and pay 20 or so quid per year to be VIP- maybe custom skins browser, custom avatars, and maybe special content access. The top modders would automatically get VIP status anyway, they deserve it! That's my contribution!
  3. Hi thanks for that, I guessed at the duplicate world and rename, I had tried copying cells and had plenty of CS crashes... wondered if that was me, the paste in place option I hadnt used before, my learning project was copying the IC Arena- took me hours to get stuff to the correct hight moving on the z axis from 20,000 feet down haha! Terrain hight editing I find hard, smaller tweaks are fine but the colours representing hight just doesnt come naturally for me, great if I wanted to build an island with huge vertical mountains.. ill get better. Im off to research quadrants. Thanks again for the help, if you come across something that can export and import cells between worldspaces excluding the render window please let me know. Magic wand equiped....... TESCellExporter haha :)
  4. Hi, thanks for reading. Im pretty new but learning very fast, have pretty good IT skills all the usual tools, fairly fluent with them, can read and understand fairly complex instructions and manuals. What I am seeking advice on is COPYING a fairly large outside area into a new worldspace, thats everything, including recreate the land. Then delete and clean up the original area, leaving it clear. I am working on quite a large expansion for an existing but older mod, sadly this mods location in Tamriel conflicts with another, hence the up tents and move it away within Tamriel or better yet into its own worldspace. Travel between worldspace Tamriel and the new one to be created to link the the two, this link would be moved away from any conflicts etc. Then everyone can enjoy both mods and not have to choose to exclude one. So any help... any tools out there that can copy x by x cells and dump into a new worldspace? Or will I be stuck copying small chunks across without crashing the pc? I wish to keep exact details quiet for now, if its possible and feasible to complete this then I will be seeking permissions from all those concerned- not foreseeing any problems if it was done extremely well, and obviously full credits to the original authors etc. That would be negotiated at the time, no point in doing that yet as Im unsure if this this transplant is possible. Thanks for any help and advice in advance and best regards.
