If you're getting the Seagate HDD and the Asus disk drive, just get the combo, it's like, 10-15 dollars cheaper I think. At least, that's what I'm getting.

Not really, just Todd and Notch (creator of Minecraft) having a conversation. I didn't hear anything that really had to do with the game, but then again, I only watched like 6 minutes of it.

I'd still like them to be cheap, but I want to get the best options.

It seems to me a heck of a lot of power goes into these custom PC's. One thing I've always done is unplug everything when I'm through with it. Since I pay the power bill, I try to keep power consumption down. What about you guys?

Thank God I'm biting the bullet and building a computer. To think I was going to settle for the 360.

I'm not looking for the best out there. I just want a good computer that will run Skyrim better than the 360. Here are some parts I found, and I wanted to know if I should skip and look for something else, or if those will do. Processor: http://www.amazon.com/AMD-Phenom-Socket-Quad-Core-Processor/dp/B004LRO9B4/ref=reg_hu-rd_add_1_dp Computer case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233&Tpk=Cooler%20Master%20HAF%20912 GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130625 Motherboard: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-M4A87TD-USB3-DDR3-Motherboard/dp/B003ICWAV4/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1307929139&sr=1-2 RAM: http://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-Ripjaws-F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL-PC3-12800-unbuffered/dp/B002RPCLH6/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1307927672&sr=1-3 Hard Drive: http://cgi.ebay.com/Western-Digital-Caviar-Black-WD2002FAEX-2TB-7200-RPM-/270764392246?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0ad0bf36#ht_747wt_1141 (Kinda hoping it stays at a low price.) Optical Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135224 PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152028 Total estimated cost: $550 Keep in mind that I don't want this thing to be "TEH BEZT" just a good, decent, computer that will run Skyrim well. Thanks! (Also, know of any other components that are better AND cheaper? Or at least will do the trick for a better price?)

well don't forget, they never say jack about a CS until after the game comes out and the fans have nagged long enough lol. You think by now they'd know darned well that yes, we DO want one, so they may as well have it ready to go :P Todd did say they had one, called it the Creation Set I believe.

Spiders I can handle...snakes on the other hand. Scaly bastards keep eatin' the eggs my chickens lay.

Found this on ebay, the seller has a ton of positive feedback and he sells a lot of computers he puts together. I just wanted to know how good it is, and if y'all think it'd have a good chance of being able to handle Skyrim better than the 360 (360 is all I have at the moment). Here are the specs: The cost of this one is $380. I imagine I may have to replace the video card, never heard of PCI-Express. Should I even buy it at all? Thank y'all so much! Your help is definitely appreciated.

Here's a question about PC's; Would it be cheaper to buy a really nice computer with all the amazing specs and whatnot right off the bat? Like Alienware or something? Or, would it be cheaper to get a pretty crappy somewhat older computer, replace the hard drive, video card, etc. If so, I got another question to ask, what are good specs for these different parts, what hard drive, video card, should I get? Can you replace the Processor? I'm not intuned at all when it comes to computers, but one of my friends has built computers before so I was just gonna get him to put it all together. Thanks!

Yeah yeah, quit reminding me. But hey, I'll be more than happy to receive $2000 from someone to get a decent computer. a decent computer for 2000? for 2000 you can build a monster of a PC. nvidia has a nice guide to pc builds http://www.geforce.com/#/Optimize/Guides/hardware-buyers-guide. Ahhh...but still, alas, the fundage have I not.

I was actually thinking about it. Or making a variation of a dragon into a Balrog from LOTR and an epic dungeon. That would be amazing.

What did they show in part 3 on E3?
