  1. I didn't say I was ungrateful, I just asked if they had ever considered it. I think there are enough people in this community with the talent and motivation to help the SKSE64 team. If someone can help lighten their burden while they deal with real life stuff what makes that dumb? It's a win win for both sides. There are very, very few people with the specialized skills and tools needed to work on this type of project. Anyone who has those skills and tools along with the time and motivation to work on the project can easily contact members of the team. The most likely to be able to help in any meaningful way would be the handful of people who have written SKSE plugins. The rest of us just need to wait patiently. Hi there, I work in the Information Security field and have an advanced knowledge of reverse engineering x64-based Windows binaries, as well as object-oriented programming (C++ included). I have reached out to a member of the team multiple times (behippo) on this forum offering assistance, and have gotten no response. I would be very interested in helping take over this project if the original creators are no longer willing or able to contribute. Simply waiting for an indefinite period of time does NOT have to be the only option. I'll wait. The time from now until SKSE team advances the project to the next step (whether that be release, beta, or encouraging update) will be FAR shorter than for someone to come in, get up to speed and take over the project in any meaningful way. Period. This is not necessarily true, and seems to be the case so far in this situation. Seeing as "no work for several months" cannot be "In my opinion it will still be faster" as 0 progress is still 0 progress. I'd like to point out that I'm just specifying to this quote and it's not used as criticism or intended "snarly" remarks towards any of the SKSE team. They got RL s#*! to do and no one can blame any of them for that. Merely stating that "my opinion is that standing still gets you to your destination faster than a slowly accelerating car" can hardly be called an opinion.
  2. In response to post #39464010. #39464265, #39466000 are all replies on the same post. I have to agree with Dark0ne's latter sentence. Most people playing on consoles and browsing beth.net are people that want to play with mods with no strings attached. Not everyone researches into these developments the past few weeks, they come home from a hard day at work, see a new popular mod and want to try it out. Getting to hear at that time that the mod won't work is fine, but suddenly having your game broken or saves gone is a few steps too far, as it would be punishment to someone that doesn't even know it was stolen or anything like that. You'd be punishing the wrong group of people with that. To the contrary, I'm sure some trolls would upload some mods to beth.net that would delete saves etc just to annoy the community for the hell of it. Requiring SKSE or a script that warns users that it will not work/is stolen should be more than enough.
  3. The "You Are S.P.E.C.I.A.L." book will not raise a stat above 10. Once your stat is already at 10, it will not show as an option when you use the book. This is also the case when all your stats are already at 10 or higher. When this is the case, the only option you have will be "Do nothing.", the book will still be consumed as if you did spend a point however.
  4. As per the official video, Perception also increases your ability to sneak, lockpick, pickpocket (Both taking and putting things back like live grenades). As to how much it helps, greatly depends on the enemy's perception as well. If an enemy has 8 perception and you have 7. Getting the Sensor Array will likely not make much of a difference, as you'll still only have one point difference. The larger the difference, the greater the effect.
