I've been replaying NV with some mods (as listed below) and have had no issues with this 60+ hr playthrough. I recently started up Dead Money and still had no issues with NV or Dead Money until I get to the part were I enter Salida del Sol North and have to climb the tower to set off the Gala Fireworks. Either on my way to the ladder at some point or setting off the fireworks and going back down i will start falling through the floor. first thing i did was just toggle collsion off and fly back up, but
1) i can no longer interact with any world object or door, only my pipboy, weapons, and attacking enemies (looting dead bodies is no longer available)
2) after turning collsion back on i immediatly fall through the map again.
I have several saves from before entering Salida del Sol North and one from right before Dead Money but no matter what i keep encountering this bug. I have tried to several things to fix it.
disable all mods (reverting back to vanilla) via purging the links with Vortex and also uninstalling all the mods, this causes NV to crash trying load any save.
i have disabled mods in batches of 5 to try and narrow down a culprit with no luck
used console commands to "complete" the quest and force the next one to start but it gets bugged out and does not work
used LOOT to see if it saw anything wacky, which it said something like some files needed cleaning and refered me over to xEdit. i followed the instructions and cleaned the .esm files LOOT said needed to be cleaned (Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, and Gun Runner's Arsenal)
Is there anything else i can try to fix Dead Money or am i going to be force to load the save that i made right before starting Dead Money and give up on this DLC?
