  1. I learned that dremora are real demons, they can behead someone who is sleeping by hovering over said person! As if they were a mirrors reflection...and they can actually fly like a rocket, straight up but landing without modern equipment hurts like heaven :P Or a guard talking to a dragon! He just looked at the dragon and said something like "Be careful with that spell!" I really just sat there WTF? And the dragon seemed just as shocked not even attacking the guard. Or having a bounty when visiting a town for the first time, it just doesn't makes sense. "Hello, I'm new here. Could you tell me where I could stock up on arrows, please?" - "You're bounty is 25000 Gold, pay or die." - "What?" - "Then die!" O.o
  2. Well, I never get things back when they leave my hands or pockets... An example which also reavels the rifton guards 'law'-loving personalitys: I had visited the smith for the firesalt-quest and went outside, I barely out as a thief appears snatches something from me and is shoot by the guards, but they also caused some casualitys, the smith and his quest were both lost for me. And before I get to the thiefs corpse a civilan takes something from, which seemed to displease the guards who were already talking about the thiefs things and making him the third death-by-arrow-case in mere seconds, so I stand there, shocked by the bruatlity of the towns law, just to see the protectors of said law looting all three corpses including the clothes and what ever had been stolen from me! Yeah, they really are your friends and helpers, taking care of your stolen goods untill you go to sovengard or where ever you will end up.
  3. I somehow always end up playing a dunmer first before switching to a bosmer since morrowind, but in skyrim after my dunmer I HAD to try out a nord (frontal slashing through everything) and am finally ready to play argonian and khajiit. They were always cool but somehow feelt...wrong for my character but not anymore :D (voted for dunmer they're still the ones I play with the most hourwise)
  4. Getting lectured by a guard about my shouting making the people nervous while I climb of a dead dragons head...MY shout is fearsome but the dragons is just a cute lizard that ate too much? Guards saying the "Let me guess...someone stole your sweets!" line while standing in front of my overlord-charakter or my warrior clad in full daedric armor! Who would dare to steal them? Guards continually giving me a 1 septim bounty! What have I done, that would allow them to put a million 1-septim-bountys on my head? And having the guild take care of it costs 674 septim? Oh and the master of silly things: I can easily slay a dragon but a vampire doesn't go down thanks to that damn life-steal-spell???
  5. 1. It's weight is under 10 and it's worth over 100? MINE! 2. I'm overencumbred? But I just put all those cool swords and bows and armors away! Oh...potions...yeah...600? s***, RAISE MY CARRYLIMIT VIA CONSOLE! 3. What does this guard say after speaking to him 101 times? 4. QUEST! START! FORGET! 5. Arrows...I have over 7000 on me since I only use my conjured bow... 6. Hard enemy? I'm a conjurer, you guys do it. *Dremoras appear* 7. Odvahiing! A wolf? Call him! A bandit? Call him! A dragon? I'll do it myself...
  6. Well, the NPC's just don't get that you are not limited to their strength...I laugh my ass of everytime a guard says: "Let me guess...someone stole your sweetroll!" I mean come on, a dragon coming if we call him, we can level dragons with ease (85% fire and ice resist :D) and manage EVERY organisation with real power in skyrim but they think there a people who steal our food? Well anyway, the titles are merely for feeling proud of yourself, not to have those idiots suck up to you :D just take it and be over with it Edit:Oh, well I'm german and don't have the english comments because of that, thanks for correcting me :)
  7. Getting killed by my own storm-atronarch who was still following me after a bandit fight. I ran into a bandit camp, so trying to up my conjuration further and having already lost my sneak-attack-chance I summon a storm-atronarch, take out my two swords and into battle! Shortly after I go my way, happy with my loot to see a single wolf closing in on my char. Even with my still low health I don't think about healing as I would simply one-hit-kill it but the moment I'm infront of the helpless puppy that damn minion fired his chain-lightning 0'in my low health! Being pushed of a bridge in a sewer by a skeever!
  8. I don't think your character is handle badly or anything, I remember also facing quiet the problem on my first playthrough. My first char is a jack-of-all-trades an mainly utilizes sneaking, which is utterly useless there. The point is, that you seem to have to use cheap tricks there with a incomplete-warrior. Cause even trough I got the same monsters spawning at my 2nd play through my two-handed, heavy armor atillery simply slashed trough everything, hardly taking any damage. I guess you are using light-armor, which is incredibly weaker than heavy, but makes the game more challenging :D So just stick to the table close to the shout-wall, fight as long as only one draugr is attacking and jump over it running for some time if another one comes from behind! (Sometimes running and long-range combat are nearly unavoidable)
  9. While I was still on the main-quest all dragons came at me trying to make me their next snack, but since I finished it, there were some dragons who seemed to flee, some in midcombat, some after seeing me and one had a really brutal fight with me untill Odvahiing joined the mix on my command! The very moment Odvahiing unleashed his first breath attack the dragon flew away as if hell was after him (well, a dragon, the dragonborn and two dremoras are something close to hell :D). While other dragons seem to actually use team-based tactics! Once I fought two dragons close to a city, which caused the guards to jump in. One of the dragons kept on throwing his ice breath attacks at me while flying, forcing me to reatreat and heal, since my dark elf could withstand fire but not ice, while the other one decreased the guards battle strength. And every time I tried to help the guards the icey dragon stopped me, the moment the last guard was out cold however, they teamed up on me! One coming from the front and one from behind, which could have very well spelled death for my mage but then to my luck some wolfs came, attacking one of the dragons fircely and then to my suprise BOTH dragons tried to escape! They flew in the same direction and after a short hunt they again came to fight me, as if they wanted to avoid the wolfs! I'm not sure if bethesda really gave the a.i. such abilitys or if it was pure luck, but it sure made the game a hell of a lot more exciting! (In the end I won thanks to my rare use of potions resulting in a great amount of useful potions filling my inventory, but they made me use about 30-40 healing and mana potions...)
  10. maybe bethseda simply assumed that no one whold be able to keep their dirty fingers in check once they saw the stuff in her hut? Personally I'm more annoyed with how you meet assassins from the dark brotherhood chasing you, with messages signed from astrid. And yet, she never talks about that once you meet her... Well, I think it's not her style to talk about the past :D you live, they died, you're qualified to live and eventually join
  11. I had a real fun time proofing I can sneak-spell-kill EVERY single one around the harbor :D went up to the emperor with a: "Hey, you no I go around killing your army, what are you gonna do"-mindset and had a nice chat with him before killing him with summoned swords and taking him home in a black soul gem! So how to be an assasin extra rule: BE BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE!
  12. First: I saw that old witch like b*tch. Second: I never even went near her, since I had a bad feeling about her. Third: My conjurer has been attacked by thugs AND the dark brotherhood. (before joining later one) Fourth: What makes ANYONE think it's a good idea to charge the archmage at the entrance of his very own academy? Fifth: Attacking someone who fights a dragon AND has 100% sneak + invincibility potions is NOT a good idea! So, what do thos ladys have against me and why are their hired hands so damn dumb? :D Still love this game, after all seeing a dragon eat a assasin send after you is brilliant!
  13. Beastmaster and Black? Well, I do play a summoner in Skyrim and I may have become an assasin right after mastering conjuration...kay I like the outcome of the test :D "Did you just enter MY freakin' Forest? Puppys time to eat!" *roots catch the intruder breaking his ankles* "Better than tv!"
  14. Ups...my answer was kinda of the point. My mind was going wandering it seems. Well a video of the mods mentioned above. and for information: I searched for better animation but there seem to be barely any replacers for combat much less for twohand weapons. So if somebody finds any mods changing that Pm me. Thanks and sorry for the wrong answer. (I already edited it to this)
  15. My character is a magican/swordmaster that controlls all cyrodill! Every guild is to his command, a word from him can call forth destruction over a whole city with ease and nobody how ever opposed him came close to his skills with the blade. And nobody can tell where he is, if you see him he will most likely disappear...along with your life. It's said that he is a imperial, prefers destruction/illusion and his sword and has only one person he won't ever harm. (alba I just like her for trying to helm him). His armor was never seen before and seems to be very light but is harder than steel and daedric weaponry. The armor worn by another of my characters
