  1. If anyone stops by...I used BSArchPro (zilav) and packed into an archive, making sure the bsa and esp are named the same. This way the folder structure is just meshes/textures, hopefully taking care of the case sensitive points. I did not archive the sound folder...as sound doesn't archive so well it is my understanding. Edit: looks like WiS corrected the 2 meshes and texture folders as my download is correct based on an older one I had.
  2. Thank you WiS for posting this! My favorite dungeon overhaul for many years now!
  3. Looks like we're all in the same boat. Tried several DNS servers to no avail....gateway problem I suppose. Incredibly slow here (US) with the same MO2 login errors reported above. I didn't see any admin responses and hope they would be reading these pages. Great site for sure and for years now....this too will pass (I hope)
  4. Old topic, but I'll reply anyway....horse riding is incredibly painful in Oblivion in all the years I've been modding (Many!) not only are the controls horrid..Oblivion's engine is just so poorly optimized that it cannot handle quickly moving cells even in vanilla. I can go for hours...and days without a crash (following good modding practices of course) Enboost, osr, etc etc, using wrye for manager....when on foot! But let me get on a horse and that crash is right around the next corner. Conclusion: no way to avoid it if you use mods (or sometimes even vanilla crashes through my testing). Just a fact of Bethesda dropping the ball on that particular engine. Skyrim (32 bit) runs smooth as silk with 280 mods on my system and never one crash in over 10 hrs WITH horseback riding! Just FYI the New Vegas anti crash patch (NVAC) works with Skyrim and Oblivion wonderfully (per Essarbee over at STEP) My 2 cents!
  5. Wow...old topic now, but just wanted to say thank you striker and melthorn for hitting on the same crazy issue I have. Been modding for years as striker has and have followed striker's posts quite often...full of good stuff from good experience! Oblivion is one of those poorly optimized (no really?), only uses one core, games that doesn't like me to ride a horse at all! I can go for a long time on foot, but just let me get on horseback and BAM! The engine just chokes with mods and fast moving cells. Bethesda makes some of the best of the best, and Oblivion is a great game...... on foot...lol..even with the occasional crashes. Love to hear young modders wonder why it does this or that with NMM...but even manually installing or with wrye, as I do, it is still the most aggravating of all the Beth wonders......happy modding :teehee:
  6. And according to Arthmoor, if repackaging the loose files again...it MUST be done with the archive.exe with the CK
  7. Thank you behippo and skse team!! You guys are awesome...lots of hard work through the years and looking forward to your knowledge for more to come
  8. To the SKSE team...BeHippo and I think Ian Patterson and all, many many thanks for all the mega hard, undying work through all these years on a way to make our games come alive. Would love to have your talent and am thankful that you do!! IT'S DONE WHEN IT'S DONE PEOPLE!!!! Rock on guys!!
  9. And I agree with shinobi2008. 99.9% of all mod issues came back on me for not reading all documentation that comes with a mod. BTW, new version of OR releasing soon, I think. Grass shader problem (which looks similar to screen above) and equipment mode fixed. Many thanks to Alenet for a fantastic job on OR!
  10. OR was released Sept. 15th (3.0.2)...not 3 days ago and I have it running fine with better cities. See my post on OR site. Over 1600 people have it running beautifully with all kinds of mods. I have tested it along with many others and it works beautifully. The water is the best ever. If you uninstall...you are missing out. The author of OR tests it extensively to make sure of compatibility with a large variety of mods. I can assure you it works
  11. I'm with forli all the way...OR is a new reason to play Oblivion again IMO...there is also a new version about to be released and water never looked so good!
