In response to post #64078691. agreed. Every single site I've ever used that relies on ads usually have AT LEAST one ad that has malware of some sort. Adblock is too precious to give up for slightly faster download speeds. My computer's health is more important to me than a download hub. Sorry if that's callous. I just remember the times prior to adblock. Never again.

Wouldn't be surprised if ads had something to do with it. Prior to the glory that is adblock, my PC was constantly under threat because of websites and their obnoxious slew of malware riddled ads...

If you're sick of your hobby then stop uploading your work. Easy and simple as that. Want to get paid for your work? Go into game design or get involved with a gaming company. Better yet, just wait until the new Elder Scrolls is released. I'm sure they're going to implement a paid mod system in future installments. This was just their messy test run. I won't bother playing future Bethesda games in that case. Sorry if that makes me sound like a cheap, entitled asshole, but I can't afford to piss away all my money just to make the base game enjoyable and bug free. Games are expensive enough as is. There's a reason I refuse to purchase skins and other micro-transactions for the games I play. I won't even get into the compatibly/stability issues most mods bring. It's been talked about to death at this point.

copy and paste from some random on the internet, which pretty much sums up my main issue with this whole workshop fiasco: "As I said in another post, to me it is more about a quality control/assurance perspective. With these added costs, will there be the same assurance of quality that other published products come with? Mods are generally made by non-professional, one-man (or very few people) crews and are quirky as hell; this mod works with this version of the game, but doesn't play well with mods A and C. Install in this order, blah blah blah. When things were free, I had little right to complain. But now that I am going to pay, I expect certain things. And 24 hours is not enough time to determine such things as stability, incompatability, etc. I honestly do not have any problem paying 1-5 dollars for a really kickass mod, but I am not going to throw my money away and *gamble* on the mod if it has issues."
